This meant that some of the hotel’s facilities were either not available to us, or too busy, including restaurants and pub. This would not have been a problem for us had there been any warning or notice to the hotel’s other guests. We visited Split for a much-needed weekend of R&R and got exactly that. The beach was lovely, the staff friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We both availed ourselves of the spa services (twice) and rated it top notch. If you book a massage and request "deep tissue", note that you're going to get exactly that and prepare for the pain - but the aftereffect is marvelous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend it for adults and families alike.

We had a wonderful stay with you. We are very particular guests but we had no reason to complain about anything apart from the sun loungers situation at Gooshters. We loved everything else. We absolutely loved the beach club but having been informed that loungers can not be reserved there, we went for an early walk at around 7.30am and nearly the whole of the front row loungers had towels on them. The staff there were very reluctant to give me a towel even though we would have stayed there. When I asked about the towels on the front row loungers, the member of staff told me that reception had agreed to those towels being placed there. I spoke to reception staff who were as confused as me. My complaint was noted. The following day, the situation was exactly the same again and by 8am, towels were placed on most of the frobt row loungers. I took photos every 30 minutes to show that most of these were empty until around 10.30am. This was totally unfair. Could you please provide an explanation for this. I would greatly appreciate this.

The hotel is a resort- like set up. On a Marina with large beautiful boats. Has a nice pool overlooking the beach and the indoor pool for those looking to get out of heat! The tiered lounging spots nestled on a hillside amongst the pines. Plenty of refreshments everywhere. 5 nice restaurants on premise. Just lovely and staff very friendly!

In general our stay was ok, but as a family (of 3) we travel a reasonable amount each year and there were a number of cumulative elements of this stay which meant for the cost we felt comparatively it was average based on the cost. Internally the facilities were of a good standard and the staff were all great. The bathrooms in the rooms feel a little dated and less well finished than the other areas, but no real issue. Externally around the pool area and the associated beach area things were a bit more tired (i.e. not as clean, things broken, quality of loungers etc). Lack of children's meal options was a frustration, alongside the cost vs quality of food (at the Main Bar and Pool Bar ....other restaurants whilst pricey were decent so didn't have a huge issue with that). As an example, it was over 60 Euros for a 'kids' chicken and rice, a Poke Bowl and a fruit plate with some sparkling water and a coke from the pool bar. Also worth noting that the Underside Pub was closed for the duration of our stay. Not sure if they would normally show sports etc and offer an alternative space for evening entertainment, but otherwise there was a DJ next to the coffee shop only on Thursdays. Near the property there isn't a great deal. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants, but the road the hotel is accessed from is very busy, and getting taxi's or driving out to anywhere is hampered by the level of traffic the majority of the day. Overall, all i can say is it was ok.

The chef manager is absolutely amazing and genuine. He truly made my trip and provided me a sense of comfort. The resort is beautiful and it is nice to be outside of the old town. I would recommend that house keeping do extra sweeps of rooms - I had a nail in my fridge. The bed were not that comfortable nor were the showers.

Buffet breakfast wasn’t good. Neither was food and service in port 74 restaurant. Room service skipped giving us everything that was supposed to be included in the dish then tried to charge us when asked for it and they got it separately. Room phone didn’t work properly and they didn’t change it even though we asked in our 5 days stay. Housekeeping was great. The Italian restaurant was superb and their service. Icecream is delicious. Ghooster reaturant service was BAD but food was yum. He property is great with awesome views. Just can feel the age of the property. Loved the pool side.

Large hotel that is family friendly. We stayed here with our 5 year old daughter and had a lovely time. The hotel lobby is grand with beautiful decor. However the rooms, not so much. Our room was outdated, including the bathroom. They had breakfast every morning with a wide selection of food. The outdoor pool and beach were nice but the indoor pool was not. The restaurants were amazing especially the Italian one. Also note that this place is a good 25 minute drive from old town - longer if there's traffic.

From the moment you walk through the front doors you experience luxury. The hotel is so clean, staff are friendly, rooms + view AMAZING. The food is phenomenal. Was disappointed with the room. Paid the premium for the sea view. Room 658 has an ubstructed view of the off in the distance. The view is blocked by trees. The only thing to view was the guests in the room outside of the balcony. Also, found the staff by the beach bar very rude on 3 separate instances.

A beautiful resort with luxurious accommodations. We splurged for the sea view room which was worth every penny - the room and balcony were spacious with stunning views of the property, sea, and sunsets. The pool bar service was slow, but drinks were reasonably priced. We were able to get comfortable accommodations on the beach and by the pool. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night!!

Paid for a seaview and it was blocked by trees, this was really disappointing and when we spoke to the staff they tried to offer another room charging considerably more. The tables in the breakfast area were not cleaned after each use. Some of the staff were really friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of facilities in the hotel which was impressive. Would be good to have more kids options on the menus the different restaurants.

If you want an average, huge, sprawling hotel that caters to conventions and you never want to leave the property this is your place. This was not the right place for us. Our family of 5 (3 kids in their early 20’s) love to do pool & beach but we also love easy access to activities, tours, shops, bars, restaurants and enjoy the culture & sights. There is nothing to do in the hotel and nothing around the hotel. And even though the hotel was supposedly sold out it felt like a ghost town. You need to go to Split if yiu want to do anything & it’s not cheap or convenient. The hotel has no transportation so an uber or taxi is necessary. Which at best is 30min drive and $18e uber or $35e taxi each way during the slow season. IF you can get one. We had uber cxl us several times because it’s too far & the traffic is horrific. And we were there 2 weeks BEFORE the season begins! Staff was fair- guys out front were very friendly & helpful & morning restaurant hostess was great but I can’t say the same for front desk or concierge. We travel a lot & simply like to feel like we matter. But we did not feel it here. Front desk was very unhelpful in a reservation situation (which got fixed by our 3rd party agency) and concierge couldn’t have been more bored or unhelpful. Hotel was clean & overall an average Marriott but not the place for us. We stayed in 2 other hotels during our stay & they were amazing. Price is way too high for what you get here.

It’s off the split old town but a short drive .. so it’s not as busy as old town .. the hotel is amazing .. the amenities they offer .. from restaurants.. spa .. gym .. pool and beach .. it’s a package deal !! Quite expensive on food but it’s still worth it to stay here ! Valet parking is very accessible .. beach and surrounding restaurants were very good !!

This hotel is super big with a direct access to the beach. The restaurant on the beach was delicious as well as the drinks. The breakfast is a mess with a lot of children running around, shouting and playing with food. Location wise far from the old town of split, with a road that is most of the time stuck with traffic jams as soon as you go out from the hotel

The breakfast was mediocre. Always the same offer for €25 pp. A major issue is the the absolute lack of security. Anyone can enter the premises and go up to the rooms without being challenged. There is no supervision of children in the indoor pool. As part from that. Beautiful premises.

Lack of children's meal options was a frustration, alongside the cost vs quality of food (at the Main Bar and Pool Bar ....other restaurants whilst pricey were decent so didn't have a huge issue with that). As an example, it was over 60 Euros for a 'kids' chicken and rice, a Poke Bowl and a fruit plate with some sparkling water and a coke from the pool bar. Also worth noting that the Underside Pub was closed for the duration of our stay. Not sure if they would normally show sports etc and offer an alternative space for evening entertainment, but otherwise there was a DJ next to the coffee shop only on Thursdays. Near the property there isn't a great deal. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants, but the road the hotel is accessed from is very busy, and getting taxi's or driving out to anywhere is hampered by the level of traffic the majority of the day. Overall, all i can say is it was ok.

Sadly you can only do the buffet and not open to have just yogurt and a coffee or something smaller. Beach side the staff can only deliver food/drinks -no interaction. Not personal we had to use an app that only worked 1/2 time. Drinks and food at the beach were too expensive and no happy hour. I stay in 5 star hotels all over the world.
