Gut gelegenes Hotel nahe an der Autobahn und der Stadt Chur. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber schön, es hat einen Balkon. Die Tiefgarage kostet noch CHF 17.- Beim Frühstücksbuffet wurde spärlich aufgefüllt, aber es war ok. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

The breakfast is very expensive, considering what is offered. Parking is great, in an underground garage. The towels in the room were pretty threadbare. OK for one night, but that’s about it. The entrance to the hotel is difficult to find, as there was construction going on. And the McDonald’s that is adjacent to the hotel was only open for drive-through.

There is no working exhaust in the bathroom. Water comes out in the shower to the actual bathroom floor. Since we were composed of 4 adults, we were assigned in the room that has no elevator access, tho for only one floor flight of stairs. But overall , it was a good stay. I like how close we are to the bus stop and McDonald’s is just connected to the hotel.

Ibis Chur was quite basic, as expected, but it was clean and the hotel staff were polite, professional and helpful. We stayed for one night, as a stopover to catch the Bernina Express, the following afternoon. The hotel is a short bus journey from the train station. The hotel reception can give you free bus/tram vouchers, when you check in. Old Town is worth a wander and look around. Get off the number 10,11 or 12 bus at the stop called ‘Malteser’. It’s pedestrianised and a nice, quiet area of Chur. The breakfast was better than we expected. Cereals; bread / toast; eggs (that you boil yourself, to your taste); fruit; pastries; waffles, etc. There aren’t many restaurants near to Ibis Chur so we opted for KFC, which is nearby. We had a room on the fourth floor, which catered for the three of us (it can cater up to four people). The lift goes up to the third floor so you will have to climb stairs if you are on the fourth or fifth floor. The bathroom was clean and the air on worked well. For a one night stopover, Ibis Chur ticks the boxes needed.

The Ibis Chur is handy for the train station and buses, there is also a McDonalds, KFC and supermarket right beside it. However, the room looked much worse than the photos online, the carpet was disgusting and I wouldn’t walk on it with bare feet. There were also a lot of ants in the room, near the balcony but also on the furniture and beside tables and I felt I couldn’t put my things down without the ants being on them. The staff were friendly at check in but I wouldn’t stay again due to the room condition.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind veraltet (Teppichboden, etc.) und hätten dringend eine Renovierung nötig. Das Checkin verlief gut und der Receptionist war sehr freundlich. Allerdings war das Frühstück, resp. die Verantwortliche für das Frühstück mehr als überfordert und unfreundlich. Jedes Mal wenn etwas fehlte, mussten wir sie darauf hinweisen. Die Kaffeemaschine wurde nicht gereinigt, nachdem sie infolge fehlender Milch sehr viel Dampf ausstiess. Auch das Waffeleisen war ziemlich schmutzig. Wir finden für den Preis darf man etwas Besseres erwarten. Schade, denn von Ibis sind wir anderes gewohnt ;-).

This hotel provided a handy and comfortable basic stopover before an early departure on the Bernina Express. Located a little out of the city centre but only a short hop on the bus which was super convenient and easy. The twin room has small beds but they turned out to be comfier than they looked and we slept well. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. I would use again. The pyramid shape is novel and the balcony is a nice touch.

Great hotel pr price. Good beds and easy accsess. I love the carpet floor, it is not so cold. Only the shower was not so good, the showerhead was cheap and without good preasure. Also the termostat is not the one with regulation so you will be burned when it fluxates.

Kamer heel klein, geen ruimte voor de koffers. Topping van bed schuift er half af. Douchekop niet goed. Tv met Netflix was wel fijn. Ontbijt matig; geen roerei of gebakken ei. Brood niet goed aangevuld, zo ook fruit en eerlijk gezegd geen 19 euro waard. Geen sfeervolle omgeving maar wel heel ge makkelijk met de bus zo in het centrum.

We got in late and just wantes to get to sleep. We rented a room for 4 people yet there was only pillows, blankets and towels for 2. I had to go back and get them, waiting at the desk for a while to get help. This lead to us not getting to sleep right away.

Stayed here for a night before getting the Bernina Express to Tirano. 5 mins on bus from Chur Station. Bonus that there was an Amazing McDonalds underneath. TV in room, clean, good view from balcony.

Quite a way out of the centre (over a mile from the station not good if you’re without a car). I was woken at 03:45 by a party in the next room, out on the adjacent balcony. I called reception and 10 minutes later all was quiet. With breakfast at chf 19 each, we thought we’d go for the McDonalds next door - closed until 10:00!

This hotel provided a handy and comfortable basic stopover before an early departure on the Bernina Express. Located a little out of the city centre but only a short hop on the bus which was super convenient and easy. The twin room has small beds but they turned out to be comfier than they looked and we slept well. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. I would use again. The pyramid shape is novel and the balcony is a nice touch.

I was pleasantly surprised this hotel is very clean and a good value. Beds were very comfortable but the pillows could be firmer. It is on the bus 11 line so super convenient to the train station which is about a 5 min bus ride from hotel. Mc Donald’s is right next door.

Stayed there for two nights. Room is clean and well maintained. Pleasant experience. I just wish that breakfast was included. 19 swiss fanks per person seemed very expensive even for a pricy Switzerland.

Gut gelegenes Hotel nahe an der Autobahn und der Stadt Chur. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber schön, es hat einen Balkon. Die Tiefgarage kostet noch CHF 17.- Beim Frühstücksbuffet wurde spärlich aufgefüllt, aber es war ok. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind veraltet (Teppichboden, etc.) und hätten dringend eine Renovierung nötig. Das Checkin verlief gut und der Receptionist war sehr freundlich. Allerdings war das Frühstück, resp. die Verantwortliche für das Frühstück mehr als überfordert und unfreundlich. Jedes Mal wenn etwas fehlte, mussten wir sie darauf hinweisen. Die Kaffeemaschine wurde nicht gereinigt, nachdem sie infolge fehlender Milch sehr viel Dampf ausstiess. Auch das Waffeleisen war ziemlich schmutzig. Wir finden für den Preis darf man etwas Besseres erwarten. Schade, denn von Ibis sind wir anderes gewohnt ;-).

We stayed in Chur for one night. The hotel was VERY comfortable. We came from Grindelwald to take the Bernina Express. Once you exit the train station you take bus line 10 or 11 and it should be between 5-7 minute ride to the hotel. Buy a one-way ticket right outside of the train station. TIP: After you check in, the hotel gives you passes to ride the bus for free which I thought was great. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the hotel and walk around Chur which is a very nice swiss town. I got a rate with breakfast included and the breakfast was very good, you could even make your own freshly squeezed orange juice which was awesome. Their espresso machine was wonderful as well! The staff was super nice and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel

The breakfast is very expensive, considering what is offered. Parking is great, in an underground garage. The towels in the room were pretty threadbare. OK for one night, but that’s about it. The entrance to the hotel is difficult to find, as there was construction going on. And the McDonald’s that is adjacent to the hotel was only open for drive-through.

Kamer heel klein, geen ruimte voor de koffers. Topping van bed schuift er half af. Douchekop niet goed. Tv met Netflix was wel fijn. Ontbijt matig; geen roerei of gebakken ei. Brood niet goed aangevuld, zo ook fruit en eerlijk gezegd geen 19 euro waard. Geen sfeervolle omgeving maar wel heel ge makkelijk met de bus zo in het centrum.

Ibis Chur was quite basic, as expected, but it was clean and the hotel staff were polite, professional and helpful. We stayed for one night, as a stopover to catch the Bernina Express, the following afternoon. The hotel is a short bus journey from the train station. The hotel reception can give you free bus/tram vouchers, when you check in. Old Town is worth a wander and look around. Get off the number 10,11 or 12 bus at the stop called ‘Malteser’. It’s pedestrianised and a nice, quiet area of Chur. The breakfast was better than we expected. Cereals; bread / toast; eggs (that you boil yourself, to your taste); fruit; pastries; waffles, etc. There aren’t many restaurants near to Ibis Chur so we opted for KFC, which is nearby. We had a room on the fourth floor, which catered for the three of us (it can cater up to four people). The lift goes up to the third floor so you will have to climb stairs if you are on the fourth or fifth floor. The bathroom was clean and the air on worked well. For a one night stopover, Ibis Chur ticks the boxes needed.
