It was a great hotel with a great view and even better service. It’s a 30 second walk from the station and about 1 minute walk from the coop which is very convenient. Every time you leave or return Wengen you will pass by the charming town of Lauterbrunnen. We loved relaxing in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountains, and the indoor pool was also great!! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights. The town is a great place to stay, not too touristy and not too rural. Many good places to eat. We had room 309 which had a balcony view over the train station which was across the street. Very quiet at night. Had a great breakfast buffet. Good hot tub, indoor pool, sauna and clothing optional sauna. The rooms come with bathrobe and slippers. Rooms are dated a bit, need more outlets for charging and needs new carpet throughout. Would stay there again and recommend!

Loved this property for its location and spa/pool. The hotel needs a bit of TLC on the outside and the rooms could be updated a bit but totally offset by the spa/pool area. The spa/pool area had a main pool with waterfall/spray, sauna, steam room, hot/cold plunge pools, cold bucket, quiet area with beautiful views of the mountains and an outdoor hot tub with the same stunning views. Also could book massages. It is conveniently located in Wengen and short distance from train. Rooms were clean. Pool area could use a bit more attention but it was acceptable. View from room was also stunning. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Das Hotel überzeugt mit seiner zentralen Lage und mit dem angenehm temperierten Innenpool. Allerdings sind die Zimmer ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das renovierte Musterzimmer macht eine gute Falle. Die schwarzen Armaturen sind jedoch gewöhnungsbedürftig und bezüglich Reinigung und Unterhalt nicht empfehlenswert. Die „Bitte nicht stören“ - Schilder sollten auf der Rückseite die Beschriftung „Bitte Zimmer machen“ haben; an einem Tag unseres Aufenthaltes ging dies nämlich vergessen, obwohl wir um 10.30 Uhr das Hotel verlassen haben. Das Hotel kann mit dem freundlichen Personal an der Rezeption, aber auch mit freundlichem Reinigungspersonal punkten,

The best part about this property is its location a few steps from thr train station. You can't hear the train, dont worry. They are pretty quiet. Directly behind the hotel is the main street. The hotel is no frills, and serves its purpose as a hub for snow sports. There is no conditioner in the bathroom. The staff left a coffee cup and used spoon in our room for 2 days. The floors in the spa area are very slippery. I almost fell twice, once down the stairs to the jacuzzi area. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again strictly due to it's location. The rest of the town is uphill. You will need dinner reservations anywhere in this town or you're out of luck.

Solo travellers always get a poor deal, paying a ridiculous sum of money when you break down the per person rate. The single room was shockingly small, under the eaves with the roof sloping over the bed. The smallest single room I’ve ever had and Extremely hot. There werent any photos or information of this room on Hotels.com site, but it wasn’t the cheapest single room on offer there, so I took a gamble and lost- I expected something better. More fool me, I’ll learn for next time. There are not many dining options in Wengen at this time of year. I tried to have dinner at the hotel restaurant but was refused. Saying they were full (?). I found one takeaway on the Main Street and had an unsatisfactory supper sitting on a park bench, the view however was spectacular and Wengen itself is a great little mountain town. A spur of the moment trip, I’m just glad it was only for one night. It did not stop me appreciating the beauty of Wengen, I could stare at that view for hours.

This place was a great choice for easy convenience close to the train. The buffet included was great and helped cut down food cost. The only slight issue was since there is no air conditioning, you have to keep the windows open to allow for air flow. Not an issue in and of itself, but a few nights, people were pretty loud late into the night. I put my ear plugs in and was able to sleep fine. :)

Probably the best view I've ever had from a balcony window. Great spa. Only thing keeping me from rating it 5 stars is a very outdated bathroom and almost no outlets to plug in anything, so room needs to be updated in those ways.

This was our first trip to the Jungfrau region and we spent four nights at the hotel Victoria Lauberhorn. We loved the area and the staff was highly accommodating to our needs, including my wife’s food allergies. The only thing I would do different is the choice of rooms. We chose the increased rate for a “panoramic view” which sounds amazing because there is so much beauty to look at. What they don’t mention is that the patio is shared by the entire first floor. Therefore, we had people walking by our windows a fair amount. I would’ve preferred a more private view where we could leave the windows open and enjoy the night air. Other than that, it was absolutely a great place to stay.

When we reached to the property around 2 pm May 19th I already requested Expedia for early checking Expedia customers care called and verified that they will provide us the room before 3 pm. We reached 2 pm but they didn’t give us the room they were giving room to all the other customers but not to us keep saying that room is not ready. Wheil waiting we went to their restaurant and my husband fell down from 2 stairs and got hurt. They didn’t bother for that. Plus construction was going on infront of our room no privacy.

Property was ok. Wellness center lady was super mean. She yelled at us for no reason at all. We always swim with swimming shirt which is a proper swimming shirt. She was not ok with that. We had to show her where we bought the swimming shirts and then she let us swim. I would never come to this property again.

All the staff were welcoming and helpful but particularly Jessica at reception, Pedro in the restaurant looked after us so well and was so kind and accommodating. Marieke aka ‘breakfast mama’ was lovely and fun and friendly each morning overseeing everyone had what they needed for a tasty and generous breakfast. Thank you to you all for making our anniversary celebrations stay in Switzerland so lovely and memorable. Phil and Julie .

It need to be highlighted that property can only be accessed by train. We had to park our car on train station to get to facility. During one day of our stay 29 minutes train ride was disrupted and we have to go around on alternate route which took us 3 hours to arrive at the facility.

In a really convenient location in the heart of Wengen, had an excellent buffet breakfast, and the spa/pool are absolutely wonderful. There was a bit of noise owing to the proximity to the train station and some of the construction taking place, but nothing outrageous. Would absolutely go back.

We took the room as posted by Expedia. So small we were forced to pay $80 per day more for a decent room. Restaurant by hotel was awful we send the plates back steak was wasted. Hotel has nice location direct by railway station. Wengé is nice not that touristic as other towns. We had an excellent fondue in the Deck restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. The location near the train was perfect. The rooms were nice and adequate. There are many restaurant choices nearby. We used the outdoor jacuzzi and it was very nice after long days of hiking. The breakfast was the best one we have had at a hotel in Switzerland.

This hotel was fantastic, from the staff (extremely friendly and accommodating), to the hotel rooms (beds comfortable, pillows/sheets super soft, space decorated nicely), to the amenities (spa). We had the half board added onto our package which meant we got breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was a buffet style; with a ton of delicious options to select from. The lady attending breakfast was extremely friendly and attentive. We assumed the dinner would be similar to breakfast; buffet style but were pleasantly surprised as it was a seated dinner where you selected from the half board menu. The dinner every day was remarkable. If you are planning on travelling to this area I highly recommend staying here as you will not be disappointed!

The front desk was kind and held my room a day before I arrived. When we were in the hotel the restaurant was not at all pleasing, the price for the food did not match the quality, the service was virtually non existent, the server had to come back and ask us if the order we placed was what we ordered, then she forgot our drinks which was basic as it was just water (still). When the dinner was done we asked for our check, it took between 30-45 minutes to pay our bill, the server had checked guest out prior to us. When the breakfast came around on both mornings the food available was simple bread, some yogurt, coffee, boiled eggs (if you were lucky to get there on time), plus some meats and cheeses. For the price you pay for the rooms and what you feel you are getting from a hotel at this level, you would hope to have at least the same options that a Holiday Inn offers if not a little better. It is one of the few options in Wengen, so you are stuck if you choose to go there. Front desk is very nice and helpful, they did do their job well. I felt that they explained the layout of the hotel wonderfully and the times of services.
