The property was wonderful. The included activities excellent gym and inclucled instructor led gym classes were better than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in our entire life (almost 50). The included breakfast was superb and very huff quality. The only recommendations are Air conditioning (though leaving windows open overnight cooled the suite) and the decor it seemed very late 1990-2000. But everything was in like new condition and very clean.

Not that great value for money, if you wanted the whirl pool it was CHF60 extra however the minibar was included which I would have swapped anyway. Appreciate the return on stay for the hotel but it has that cheap vibe. Service on the other hand was excellent, staff where top notch!

Sauna area was very nice and gym facilities. Room was spacious with a balcony and view. Breakfast was good and included in stay. There was a buffet but you could also omlet or fried eggs for no extra charge. Barrys restaurant on site is nice and serves good food. Staff was attentive and friendly. Room had a fan provided but no air conditioning, so if you are from a country where AC is the norm, you could be a little warm in your room depending on time of year. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Eiger Mountain Soul resorts staff were amazing. If you were standing anywhere at the hotel, multiple staff would asks if you needed something. Very clean, great dining, and in the main part of town, near the train station. If you stay there, you can walk either direction from the hotel to find nice restaurants and shops. Great gym facility and the private whirlpool eas awesome. Would stay again.

Very nice modern hotel right on the Main Street and convenient to everything. Rooms were wonderful with a private balcony. Hotel restaurant was also excellent. This hotel was a nights stop hiking the Via Bernia trail (38) and the best thing is it had washing machines and dryers. Hard to find in Switzerland.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was lovely and super helpful. The location is right in the main area so it can get a bit noisy but overall was worth it. The views from the hotel balcony were stunning. The restaurant was amazing, the spa, all the amenities and perks they offered were top notch. Would definitely stay again.

If staying in Grindelwald this is a very nice place with a nice restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. There’s a clean gym and spa and the room is comfortable. It’s a solid 4 star hotel I’d return to.

A 3 star hotel at best. No HOT WATER! Room musty, no AC, only ventilation is keeping balcony door open. Refrigerator was not working. Called twice for repairs No hot water on our second night. Had to call to find out, was told to go shower in the spa, however, there was no hot water there. Make-up mirror held together with electric tape. Staff did not offer help with luggage, parking area is way up an incline behind building. Really not what you expect from a pricy hotel.

Stayed at lifestyle comfort room and the mountain view was awesome and everytbing in the mini bar is complimentary. The breakfast spread was excellent. The staff are friendly. There is complimentary shuttle to and fro Grindelwald train station and its on time. Room is very clean. Only spotted a small bit of mold at the corner of the bathroom pane, other than that..its spotless. There is a half staircase to carry the luggages as there are 2 buildlings joined together. The complimentary wifi requires guests to have a mobile phone to receive code, which is a bit strange. We enjoyed out stay there.

Lots of flies, lots of noise, feels like a hostel, rooms are dated and uncomfortable, all floors smell like fondue cheese and the elevators are tiny and slow. Dont try and be a ritz carlton or a four seasons, you are no where close. 2 star at most.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff was amazing, especially Melanie. Wanting to make sure we were happy with every aspect of our stay. The hotel was very clean and we loved the free breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Unpleasantly hot in the summer, even in early September! I was aware at time of booking that there is no AC, but I was not aware that the room doesn't have any windows that can open! On the plus side, the included breakfast was the best I had in over a week in Switzerland at four different properties.

Great location in Grindelwald. Close to train station and bus station and on the main strip. The hotel was nice and the room was larger than many European rooms. The only downside was no AC when it was quite hot.

The room got really hot -- no air conditioning -- and they had only one small portable fan in the room, but there were three of us. My son's bed was set up on the other side of a wall, and he had some difficulty sleeping the first night because of the temp. When I asked for a second fan the next morning, the young man at the front desk appeared to give me some slack and informed me that the hotel allows only one fan per room. I told him that wasn't a solution for three people. He did finally send maintenance with another fan, but I was forced to have a lengthy discussion with him and to really put my foot down to resolve the situation. Otherwise, a nice hotel, especially Barry's Restaurant for fondue at dinnertime. The breakfast was scrumptious, too.

What an amazing experience, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They made my stay personal, something that I do not get in other hotels. They have daily activities suggestion, breakfast, afternoon coffee and tea and gym classes are included in the booking. They also have a restaurant on site called Barry's that serve the best cheese fondue. The hotel also has a very nice location, 5 minute walk to Grindelwald station and also the gondola towards Mount First. I highly recommend the place to everyone. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit Grindelwald.

The hotel staff here were extremely nice and attentive. The manager would walk around during the day and ask how everybody was doing and if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Great location and walkable to everything.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff was amazing, especially Melanie. Wanting to make sure we were happy with every aspect of our stay. The hotel was very clean and we loved the free breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel Diego was most helpful with late check in and then a wonderful staff and breakfast. Wish we could stay longer but will be back again soon for sure.

The room got really hot -- no air conditioning -- and they had only one small portable fan in the room, but there were three of us. My son's bed was set up on the other side of a wall, and he had some difficulty sleeping the first night because of the temp. When I asked for a second fan the next morning, the young man at the front desk appeared to give me some slack and informed me that the hotel allows only one fan per room. I told him that wasn't a solution for three people. He did finally send maintenance with another fan, but I was forced to have a lengthy discussion with him and to really put my foot down to resolve the situation. Otherwise, a nice hotel, especially Barry's Restaurant for fondue at dinnertime. The breakfast was scrumptious, too.

The location of this hotel was very close to the bus and train stations. We were able to check in early since our room was ready. We got the room we requested and it was very clean and cozy. Pillows, sheets, towels were all very clean and comfortable. We booked an excursion through the hotel staff and they were very helpful and nice. We included breakfast in our stay and it was delicious and the best we had throughout all of our stays.Hotel has a very nice vibe and would definitely recommend. One thing to note that is not related to the hotel exactly but the area is hilly, so if you have trouble walking, it may be an issue.

Great location in Grindelwald. Close to train station and bus station and on the main strip. The hotel was nice and the room was larger than many European rooms. The only downside was no AC when it was quite hot.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was lovely and super helpful. The location is right in the main area so it can get a bit noisy but overall was worth it. The views from the hotel balcony were stunning. The restaurant was amazing, the spa, all the amenities and perks they offered were top notch. Would definitely stay again.

Sauna area was very nice and gym facilities. Room was spacious with a balcony and view. Breakfast was good and included in stay. There was a buffet but you could also omlet or fried eggs for no extra charge. Barrys restaurant on site is nice and serves good food. Staff was attentive and friendly. Room had a fan provided but no air conditioning, so if you are from a country where AC is the norm, you could be a little warm in your room depending on time of year. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was delicious and full of options. Staff was attentive and informed. No issues and would certainly stay here again. Depending on your room location, it can be loud on Wed. nights due to the weekly street festival if you need to open windows. This didn't cause us problems, just something to keep in mind if you have young children.

Had a Junior Suite. Did not like the room set up & it was nothing like what I saw on-line when I reserved it. Also, the breakfast restaurant had a real problem with flies. Very annoying (and unsanitary). Really regretted that I made this reservation & should have found a much better property in Grindlewald.
