This was my second stay at the Welcome Kongresshotel Bamberg. Overall, it was a fantastic stay as always. For travelers with a car or rental car, having a parking garage directly under the hotel is a huge benefit since parking can be hard to find in Bamberg. The hotel overall is modern and well furnished, has friendly and helpful staff, a great free breakfast buffet, and a bar/restaurant in the hotel for folks who are short on time to eat out in town. The hotel is walkable (20 minutes for most) to the Altstadt (old city) as well as the Innenstadt (city center) which is convenient for tourists. My room this time had a shower stall rather than bathtub which is convenient for travelers who may not be able to climb into/out of a tub due to mobility issues. The only downside for me was not being able to view local TV (Bayern 1 / 2 / 3) channels in the TV. Highly recommend this hotel!

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Wellnessbereich leider nur eine Sauna in Betrieb, beide Whirlpools nicht in Betrieb, Fitnessraum hat nur zwei Geräte. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Hotel fussläufig zur Innenstadt, Parkhaus direkt am Hotel.

Nice place to stay just outside central bamberg. It is located by the water and is easy walking distance to the town centre and its attractions. Buffet breakfast provided was very substantial. There is a carpark available which was convenient and reasonably priced.

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Regnitz, ruhig und nur 200 Meter Fußweg bis zur Altstadt. Sehr gute Qualtiät und Angebot beim Frühstück, der Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf die Regnitz. Direkt am Hotel, ein Restaurant mit Biergarten - sehr praktisch, wenn man mal nicht in die Stadt möchte. Beim nächsten Bamberg Besuch gerne wieder ins Welcome Kongresshotel

An ok stay at the Kongresshotel. We booked for 2 adults and 1 child but the extra bed hadn’t been installed and the double bed was two separate beds (this is apparently normal for this hotel). They quickly installed the third bed after being made aware and everything was ok.

Pleasant place to stay, popular with groups, there was a large corporate away day there when I arrived. A pleasant walk into the centre of town along the river, a longer walk from the station. Slightly ineffective air conditioning, decent coffee machine.

Schönes Hotel, gutes Frühstück. Gunde sind sehr willkommen, es gibt ein deckchen und näpfe und leckerlis. Und es ist gut organisiert, wenn der hund mal alleine ist im Zimmer. Das hotel ist sehr ruhig durch extra gedämmte Zimmer und hat eine auagezeichnete Lage. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist auch sehr gut.

Um in die schöne Altstadt Bamberg zu kommen, muss man nur über die Brücke gehen und ein paar Minuten laufen. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war insgesamt okay die Zimmer sind allerdings durchschnittlich eingerichtet., die Sauna muss mit vier Euro extra bezahlt werden und es ziemlich dunkel. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

Um in die schöne Altstadt Bamberg zu kommen, muss man nur über die Brücke gehen und ein paar Minuten laufen. Es un hotel básico, tiene buen acceso a estacionamiento, entras por la cafeteria, el acceso no es atractivo. Personal de recepción amable, standard. Habitación con alfombra que se ve vieja. Habitación amplia. Baño bien. Fuimos al restaurante, personal amable, bien para cenar o tomar una cerveza.
