Hotel ist super. Nettes Personal, hervorragendes Essen und saubere Einrichtung. Nur zwei Kleinigkeiten die nicht so gut waren. 1. Die Massagen im Spa waren für den Preis nicht sonderlich gut. 2. In der Anlage liefen viele Katzen rum. Für jemanden wie mich, der eine Katzenhaarallergie hat, nicht sonderlich angenehm. Außerdem schien eine der Katzen im Essbereich krank zu sein und dementsprechend gab es einige unschöne Hinerlassenschaften von ihr.

La struttura è molto bella, costituita da piccoli edifici inseriti in una vegetazione curata con moltissime palme e circondata da piscine; ha anche accesso diretto su un tratto di mare, generalmente un po' mosso, ma con mare e spiaggia puliti, attrezzati con ombrelloni e lettini e da cui si possono godere bei tramonti. Il personale è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile e ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. Si mangia molto bene e in particolar modo nei ristoranti a la carte. sono molto ben organizzate anche le escursioni prenotabili direttamente in hotel. E' la nostra seconda volta al Mitsis Royal Mare e sicuramente torneremo!

We got an upgrade due to the Expedia VIP Access program and had the pleasure to stay in a wonderful Suite with Sharing Pool. Everything was wonderful. The cleanliness was great, the cocktails absolutely amazing. Food in the buffett restaurant was fine, but more variety would have been great. Gutenfree eating (cealic disease) during our stay was no problem, but more options for dessert would have been nice. The speciality restaurants need a reservation, but are often fully booked, which makes it necessary to reserve a few days in advance (not ideal for short stays) - that is why we could only try the beach tavern, which was delicious. Thanks for the great stay!

Great vacation, great staff. Lots to do on and off the resort property. Make reservations early on in your stay for a la carte & try to get the shared swimming pool as the beach flags were almost always Red for the strong currents.

Freundlichkeit wird hier sehr groß geschrieben , egal wo… überall sind alle total herzlich ! Die Anlage ist fabelhaft. Wir hatten eine Suite mit Pool & können diese empfehlen. Etwas älter , in die Jahre gekommen. Viele Ameisen. Am Pool sind leider die Liegen sehr schnell reserviert & schattenplätze gibt’s wenige. Keine große Animation, was uns nicht gestört hat. Essen in den Restaurants super gut, Reservierung am besten schon vor Check in. Abends gibt es kleinere Shows am Pool . Wir kommen wieder bzw. probieren gerne andere Mitsis aus .

The hotel is well worth a visit. There are 6 a la carte restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed 5 out of the 6. However, due to this we were given another visit to one we enjoyed. The concierge was fantastic as was customer relations. Restaurant staff in the 5 we enjoyed were amazing. They just couldn’t cope with the numbers in the one we didn’t enjoy. Some of the bar staff are incredible. A couple seemed to work in slow motion. We found the staff to be very polite and always served with a smile. Disappointed you have to pay extra for tennis. The reason for the 4 stars is purely due to end of season. We are sure the place would be different during high season.

The property is very well maintained and clean, pools are beautiful, staff friendly and welcoming. Guest Services show a real desire to ensure you have a great stay. A la Carte restaurants served very well presented food but I found all restaurants to be a little bland for my taste, Pan Asian was the best restaurant we went to. In addition there are a wide range of drinks on offer but wine, beer didn't taste of high quality. A Prosecco I ordered was flat and tasted like it had been open too long which was disappointing. In all in all a great place for ultra relaxing holiday in a clean and friendly environment.

Zeer mooi resort met leuke zwembaden zowel publiek als privé. Heel fijne mensen en een warm onthaal. Lekker gevarieerd warm eten met elke avond een ander thema. Leuke restaurantjes op het resort zelf. Heel aangenaam strand al moet je snel zijn voor een bedje vast te krijgen.

We stayed for 2 weeks & we had a fantastic time. The Hotel is very clean. The staff were excellent - very attentive & professional. The restaurants were all lovely, with the main restaurant having a wonderful daily choice & again very helpful staff. I would recommend this Hotel!

Obwohl es sich um eine riesige Hotel Anlage handelt, gelingt es dem Personal, eine familiäre Atmosphäre zu schaffen . Maria & Dimitri vom Restaurant sowie Aphrodite und Maurice von der Strandbar vermitteln uns täglich den Eindruck, besonders wertvolle Stammkunden zu sein. Unser Zimmer war ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen, aber blitzsauber, so wie der Rest der liebevoll bepflanzen Anlage. Das Essen war phantastisch und wir finden keinerlei Kritikpunkte.
Obwohl es sich um eine riesige Hotel Anlage handelt, gelingt es dem Personal, eine familiäre Atmosphäre zu schaffen . This hotel was NOT 5 stars, more like 3.5. Worn carpets, tiny rooms, stained carpets etc, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The food was also terrible. No variety or taste. For the price being paid, I expected a lot more. The staff was lovely and really helpfully. The hotel itself was pretty, but it needs a serious makeover and new chefs.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour vacance en famille avec un enfant, l’établissement est très grand et le gros point fort sont les piscines il y’en a beaucoup et permet de répartir le monde. Les transats peuvent êtres assez compliqué à trouver, les premiers jours nous avions de la place mais parfois difficile d’en trouver lorsqu’on ne réveil pas tôt. Rien à dire sur la propreté les allées, les piscines et les chambre sont très propres. Les chambres ont besoins d’un rafraîchissement mais elles sont spacieuses nous avions une chambre vue mer la vue très agréable. Nous avions lu pas mal de bon commentaires sur le buffet mais avons été un peu déçu, il n’est pas médiocre très correct mais pas exceptionnel non plus. Le service assez bon, de la chambre nous demandions des serviettes ou gel douche par exemple et c’était agréable d’être transporté en golfette lorsque nous l’avions demandé. Cependant au buffet le personnel et très peu souriant et assez blasé. Le point négatif pour nous est la plage. Globalement hôtel très agréable même si quelques points pourraient être améliorés.

Nous avions lu pas mal de bon commentaires sur le buffet mais avons été un peu déçu, il n’est pas médiocre très correct mais pas exceptionnel non plus. Le service assez bon, de la chambre nous demandions des serviettes ou gel douche par exemple et c’était agréable d’être transporté en golfette lorsque nous l’avions demandé. Cependant au buffet le personnel et très peu souriant et assez blasé. Le point négatif pour nous est la plage. Globalement hôtel très agréable même si quelques points pourraient être améliorés.

The staff was extremely friendly and service minded! Really impressive. We stayed at a room with direct access to the pool and it was fantastic. Very calm atmosphere and plenty of space in the pool and surrounding areas. Food was overall good to very good, but the meat at the buffet was usually overcooked (chewy). In some cases you could ask the chef to get it medium or med rare, but not always.

Freundlichkeit wird hier sehr groß geschrieben , egal wo… überall sind alle total herzlich ! Die Anlage ist fabelhaft. Wir hatten eine Suite mit Pool & können diese empfehlen. Etwas älter , in die Jahre gekommen. Viele Ameisen. Am Pool sind leider die Liegen sehr schnell reserviert & schattenplätze gibt’s wenige. Keine große Animation, was uns nicht gestört hat. Essen in den Restaurants super gut, Reservierung am besten schon vor Check in. Abends gibt es kleinere Shows am Pool . Wir kommen wieder bzw. probieren gerne andere Mitsis aus .

This hotel was NOT 5 stars, more like 3.5. Worn carpets, tiny rooms, stained carpets etc, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The food was also terrible. No variety or taste. For the price being paid, I expected a lot more. The staff was lovely and really helpfully. The hotel itself was pretty, but it needs a serious makeover and new chefs.

Positives: Beautiful grounds and gardens, very clean, specious rooms, great food, nice speciality restaurants, friendly stuff, nothing was too much trouble Negatives: - letting people reserving their sun beds with towels early in the morning so others can’t find any free. Some people wouldn’t turn in for hours! This shouldn’t be allowed… - no electric sockets by bed - beach a bit stoney, not even, not good for kids - outside the hotel is pretty shabby - nearest town Hersonissos quite tacky - excursions sold by the hotel overpriced for what it was

This hotel has a beautiful complex in which it is embedded. I lived in the hotel in a suite with its own pool. Unfortunately, the weather was too cool at this time to be able to use other things. It is a shame that the advertisements do not mention that there are no pools But there is an indoor pool that is also a bit cool, the food was unfortunately not varied, but reasonably well appropriate for this price-performance ratio. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, mit dem direktem Zugang zum Pool. Das Hotel war aber extrem laut, zum einen durch den Flugverkehr und zum anderen durch diverse Partys. Im Hotel gab es verschiedene Angebotte von AI, HP und nur Frühstück. Für Leute die HP und Frühstück gebucht hatten waren die Getränke extrem teuer. Beispiel eine Flasche Wasser 6€, eine kleine Flasche Wein 15€. In den Restaurants ringsrum lagen die Preise jeweils bei ungefähr der Hälfte. Das Esssen war aber sehr gut. Beim Service waren die Mannschaften zum Teil vüllig überfordert.

Il personale è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile e ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. Si mangia molto bene e in particolar modo nei ristoranti a la carte. sono molto ben organizzate anche le escursioni prenotabili direttamente in hotel. E' la nostra seconda volta al Mitsis Royal Mare e sicuramente torneremo!

Hotel was well laid out and good facilities. Staff were hit and miss in terms of service, the main buffet staff were good but the staff at the 2 of the themed restaurants were slow to take orders, deliver each course, and remove plates. When the staff were paying attention they were excellent.

The hotel is well worth a visit. There are 6 a la carte restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed 5 out of the 6. However, due to this we were given another visit to one we enjoyed. The concierge was fantastic as was customer relations. Restaurant staff in the 5 we enjoyed were amazing. They just couldn’t cope with the numbers in the one we didn’t enjoy. Some of the bar staff are incredible. A couple seemed to work in slow motion. We found the staff to be very polite and always served with a smile. Disappointed you have to pay extra for tennis. The reason for the 4 stars is purely due to end of season. We are sure the place would be different during high season.

The property is very well maintained and clean, pools are beautiful, staff friendly and welcoming. Guest Services show a real desire to ensure you have a great stay. A la Carte restaurants served very well presented food but I found all restaurants to be a little bland for my taste, Pan Asian was the best restaurant we went to. In addition there are a wide range of drinks on offer but wine, beer didn't taste of high quality. A Prosecco I ordered was flat and tasted like it had been open too long which was disappointing. In all in all a great place for ultra relaxing holiday in a clean and friendly environment.

One the best resorts anywhere. The resort is on gradual slope and layout is such that you get sea views everywhere. The sea and beach are safe for swimming. Good facilities and a good spa area. Food in the main restaurant was good. About staff everywhere they are excellent. They offered good white wine complimentary in the room. Very very good resort with reasonable tariff.

Great vacation, great staff. Lots to do on and off the resort property. Make reservations early on in your stay for a la carte & try to get the shared swimming pool as the beach flags were almost always Red for the strong currents.

Very nice property. Location is a little out of the way, so definitely rent a car OR see about renting the car they have on the property. We went March 25-31 and most of the restaurants and stuff around the resort were closed. Food at resort is good, but some restaurants 30 mins. away are amazing. Tons of cats around the property so don't go it allergic. Would go back.

We got an upgrade due to the Expedia VIP Access program and had the pleasure to stay in a wonderful Suite with Sharing Pool. Everything was wonderful. The cleanliness was great, the cocktails absolutely amazing. Food in the buffett restaurant was fine, but more variety would have been great. Gutenfree eating (cealic disease) during our stay was no problem, but more options for dessert would have been nice. The speciality restaurants need a reservation, but are often fully booked, which makes it necessary to reserve a few days in advance (not ideal for short stays) - that is why we could only try the beach tavern, which was delicious. Thanks for the great stay!

This hotel was NOT 5 stars, more like 3.5. Worn carpets, tiny rooms, stained carpets etc, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The food was also terrible. No variety or taste. For the price being paid, I expected a lot more. The staff was lovely and really helpfully. The hotel itself was pretty, but it needs a serious makeover and new chefs.

Wonderful stay at the Mitsis Royal Mare, the room and facilities were elegant and perfectly maintained and all staff were lovely and welcoming. We found the food in the themed restaurants great, maybe they could improve the food options for the main restaurant, especially for vegetarian guests. As in many resorts in Crete there were few stray cats and it was nice to notice one of the staff leaving some food and water available for them. They clearly look very hungry and the hotel could certainly leave some more food for them. We have been to other Mitsis Hotels and this is by far our favourite, particularly the rooms with sharing pool and themed restaurants.

The hotel is well worth a visit. There are 6 a la carte restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed 5 out of the 6. However, due to this we were given another visit to one we enjoyed. The concierge was fantastic as was customer relations. Restaurant staff in the 5 we enjoyed were amazing. They just couldn’t cope with the numbers in the one we didn’t enjoy. Some of the bar staff are incredible. A couple seemed to work in slow motion. We found the staff to be very polite and always served with a smile. Disappointed you have to pay extra for tennis. The reason for the 4 stars is purely due to end of season. We are sure the place would be different during high season.

A la Carte restaurants served very well presented food but I found all restaurants to be a little bland for my taste, Pan Asian was the best restaurant we went to. très bon hôtel, tout était parfait, personnel agréable et serviable a tout moment de la journée et de la nuit petit bémol sur le petit déjeuner ou l'ont vient vous servir le café a table le matin, il faudrait pouvoir laisser l'accès en self service. Le café le matin c'est important de l'avoir de suite :D nous avions également difficulté a trouver un transat le matin près des piscines car les gens se permettent de réserver dès le matin 9H les transat en y laissant leur serviette.
