We have used several different Mitsis hotels all of which have been great and the Laguna was just as good. It’s an attractive, well laid out hotel of a nice size. There’s plenty of pool area space and more than enough sun beds. The accommodation was excellent and service superb. We’ve noticed the food choices have been reduced over recent years but they remain really good and to a high quality. The ala carte restaurants were great although quite tightly configured. The breakfast brunch was the least liked with the food no different to to what you can get in the main restaurant. The only thing we were disappointed in was the beach area. In other mitsis hotels there’s always been a dedicated bar and food facilities. At the Laguna there is only a mobile unit which was permanently busy and not worth the wait. The shoreline is also quite rocky and so not the easiest to access the water. Overall though the Laguna is excellent and thoroughly recommended.

Great hotel, with only small things to improve. Staff is always very nice and helpful. The whole place is quite spacious and you can choose from a rich quantity of bars/restaurants. Finding a free place at one of the pools can be tricky depending on timing. The beach bar is definitely smth special and one can only recommend. Beach itself is very rocky, beach shoes are recommended. Overall a great place.

Hersonissos is very chill. My hotel was fabulous- did not see a need to go out to clubs, etc., except for excursions, as it was all inclusive. There was nightly entertainment, 5 pools, several restaurants, and my own private beach. Very kid/family friendly as well as singles.

Excellent hotel, everything from rooms to food to staff was excellent. Drinks are also excellent and not the cheap stuff you usually get with all inclusives. Having the restaurants within the hotel is very convenient and the food there is also great. Added bonus of having a desert restaurant which stays open into the night.

Great all inclusive hotel. The staff is amazing, good food and drink options, property well maintained and clean. The buffet restaurant has great food options, and there are a few a la carte restaurants you can also book as part of your package. There is also a crepe bar next to the main swimming pool and they serve an amazing espresso. Room fridge is daily refilled with drinks included in the package. There are bars day and night if you want an extra drink. There are activities for kids, but not many for a 11yo, but my son enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and drinking delicious virgin mojitos all day 😂. There is a small shop with beach/swimming pool essenciais with very reasonable prices. I never had issues with parking, although I stayed at the hotel most of my time. My son forgot his phone in the last day and we realised only at the airport. I contacted the guest relations and they were very helpful to communicate with another guest to bring the phone to me. Thank you!

Check in was amazing with Angela - quick & efficient - cool drink & hand towel. The room we were taken to was on the Laguna site. It was a corner room so the layout as polished as the picture I had seen of my sea view room booked. The balcony was tiny and walled in - no view unless your standing / the view then was of the sea and crepe bar. The room felt over crowded with the chaise lounges and other furniture. After some complaining we were luckily moved to a better situated room with the view I expected. It was sea view & pool view. The hotel itself is huge and layered over many steps & zones - consider the main building if you’re less mobile. The main pool has lots of activity & music throughout the day. The sunloungers were pretty tightly packed in. We chose a closer pool to the room for convenience. I do think you need to select your beds early and protect them before 9.30am. The pool man does his best to remove blocked beds but it’s not ideal as no one does it on his day off. I was sure the pool we sat at was considered adults only but it sadly wasn’t / tonnes of flotation beds / balls and children. I was shocked that so many didn’t use the children’s pools which were lovely and had a lovely water slide to entertain. Overall the family theme stood out a mile as the children’s entertainment was lively & fun. The adult entertainment was lacking in parts and pretty cramped for space on the hotel veranda. Adults could retreat to the small champagne bar.

Lovely hotel in a stunning position by the sea. Had a family pool access room & this was ideal for us with two adults & two teens sharing a screened off area in a very large room. This part of the hotel is a bit quieter & you have reserved loungers &umbrella outside your room, which we really enjoyed. The bathroom in our room was at best tired, at worst, a bit grubby. Missing sealant, a shower head that wouldn't stay up, a sink with 'stuff' in the drainage channel and a visiting posse of ants didn't really add to the charm! Just a shame, as the rooms were lovely & this let them down. Food wise, the speciality restaurants were excellent, with a good, high quality selection and lovely staff. The buffet was a bit more mixed - similar selection each day despite advertised themes, lots of mushy casseroles & soggy veg - but good salads, a roast meat, pasta, pizza station. Bread selection was a bit poor - often hard & stale, croissants like bullets & desserts very sweet & gooey - but plentiful! Usually lots of greek yogurt, fruit, honey & baklava, which were fab! The beach bar serves gyros & burgers which were well cooked & tasty; the pancake house is amazing! Hotel grounds are stunning & well maintained. Lots of cats which hotel clearly feed and look after, which was nice! Staff cannot do enough for you - could not fault the service. So in summary - a lovely holiday & a lovely hotel - could be better in small details, but on the whole, a really solid option.

Exterior looks good The rooms not so much (Mold in the bathroom) The food is mediocre, even in the restaurant The staff was generally nice with some exceptions The beach is rocky and not pleasant to swim The hotel located close to the airport and in the airspace, so every 20 min an airplane will fly over the beach and hotel. If you book with expedia make sure they don't give you the bad rooms! We booked twin room with sea view and got first a twin view family room with partial sea view and a flooded balcony

Très beau complexe, on s'y sent extrêmement bien. Le personnel est aux petits soins, vraiment adorable ! Le buffet n'est pas top mais les restaurants sont excellents. Les chambres, notamment la salle de bain mériterait d'être rafraîchie, la propreté des chambres est aussi perfectible pour un 5 étoiles. Petit bémol sur les lumières des couloirs et les clims allumées non stop (pensons à la planète). Des activités et concerts sont proposés c'est top !

Having visited numerous 5-star hotels in Greece over the past few years, we can confidently say that we've never encountered such a fantastic overall package. One of the most remarkable aspects was the gluten-free dining experience, which wasn't just accommodated but was an absolute delight! The presence of a dedicated nutritionist, available and contactable throughout the day, was a game-changer. We've never encountered such consistently motivated staff; every single person seemed genuinely committed to making our stay as wonderful as possible. They ensured that everything was gluten-free, and if something wasn't, they made it happen. A special shout-out to our housekeeper, Maria, who flawlessly cleaned our room daily and always left thoughtful little touches. The magnificent pool service also deserves high praise; it significantly enhanced the luxurious feel of our stay. Lovely hotel in a stunning position by the sea. Had a family pool access room & this was ideal for us with two adults & two teens sharing a screened off area in a very large room. This part of the hotel is a bit quieter & you have reserved loungers &umbrella outside your room, which we really enjoyed. The bathroom in our room was at best tired, at worst, a bit grubby. Missing sealant, a shower head that wouldn't stay up, a sink with 'stuff' in the drainage channel and a visiting posse of ants didn't really add to the charm! Just a shame, as the rooms were lovely & this let them down. Food wise, the speciality restaurants were excellent, with a good, high quality selection and lovely staff. The buffet was a bit more mixed - similar selection each day despite advertised themes, lots of mushy casseroles & soggy veg - but good salads, a roast meat, pasta, pizza station. Bread selection was a bit poor - often hard & stale, croissants like bullets & desserts very sweet & gooey - but plentiful! Usually lots of greek yogurt, fruit, honey & baklava, which were fab! The beach bar serves gyros & burgers which were well cooked & tasty; the pancake house is amazing! Hotel grounds are stunning & well maintained. Lots of cats which hotel clearly feed and look after, which was nice! Staff cannot do enough for you - could not fault the service. So in summary - a lovely holiday & a lovely hotel - could be better in small details, but on the whole, a really solid option.

The beds are twin sizes instead of double sizes. Some rooms should have two double size beds. A movie Chanel in English and creamer for coffee. Also, the rooms should have wash clothes or face towels. There was none in all the rooms. Everything else was excellent.

Check in was amazing with Angela - quick & efficient - cool drink & hand towel. The room we were taken to was 324 on the Laguna site. It’s a corner room so the layout isn’t as polished as the picture I had seen of my sea view room booked. The balcony was tiny and walled in - no view unless your standing / the view then was of the sea and crepe bar. The room felt over crowded with the 2 chaise lounges and other furniture. After some complaining we were luckily moved to a better situated room with the view I expected 654. This room was sea view & pool view. The hotel itself is huge and layered over many steps & zones - consider the main building if you’re less mobile. The main pool has lots of activity & music throughout the day. The sunloungers were pretty tightly packed in. We chose a closer pool to the room for convenience. I do think you need to select your beds early and protect them before 9.30am. The pool man does his best to remove blocked beds but it’s not ideal as no one does it on his day off. I was sure the pool we sat at was considered adults only but it sadly wasn’t / tonnes of flotation beds / balls and children. I was shocked that so many didn’t use the children’s pools which were lovely and had a lovely water slide to entertain. The AC will not be efficient, especially in a very hot day, Food is good, a lot of options, and very tasty, something that you rarely find in an all inclusive. Great activities , the highlight of the facilities is the big pool! Great immense pool, clean water, a lot of chairs around it. Don’t expect too great of the bar service, cocktails are not great! Overall meeting expectations for a luxury all inclusive resort, I will be back if I will chose the room on the ground floor with shared pool option instead of sea view! Top floors are way too hot in the summer.

We enjoyed our vacation- it’s our second time. The room was large enough to fit 2 adults and 2 teens (14, 16) comfortably. We had fun and quiet in the pool which was not the main one, as we had access from our room. Recommended!

If you book with expedia make sure they don't give you the bad rooms! We booked twin room with sea view and got first a twin view family room with partial sea view and a flooded balcony

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub..Alles an Speisen und Getränke, was man sich nir vorstellen kann. Selbst beim Pool und am Strand ist Bedienung. Personal ist immer sehr freundlich. Wir haten das Zimmer oberhalb des Eingangsbereich, da war es in der Nacht offt sehr laut. Die Zimmer sind schlecht gedämmt, man hört alles was im Haus passiert.

It was a corner room so the layout as polished as the picture I had seen of my sea view room booked. After some complaining we were luckily moved to a better situated room with the view I expected. It was sea view & pool view. The hotel is amazing. Location, food, views and staff. Only one thing to mention, which ruined an entire day of our week. The concierge strongly recommended a “luxury” day trip to Santorini. We woke up at 5am, to be ready to start our journey. From the bus to the port, the ferry, the bus on the other side and all the way back, we felt like cattle, with literally 1000+ fellow travellers being channelled through hour long queues in and out of transports. This was such a bad experience that made me not rate this hotel with a 5 star. No need to overpromise, particularly when you can’t do much to deliver.

Mitsis Laguna is a stunning resort in a beautiful location, but what really makes this place is the staff. I want to start by saying a personal thank you to Domna at the theatre bar, who was the most kind compassionate and caring member of staff at any hotel I’ve ever come across. My wife injured herself and Domna gave her very prompt and excellent care, and was so kind and reassuring. For the rest of the holiday she took so much time checking in on us and making sure we were okay she also made such a fuss of our little girl, making her holiday extra special and giving her lots of love and attention which she loved. Another shout out also goes to Marina and Olga also at the theatre bar, two lovely kind humans who gave amazing service and helped make our holiday unforgettable. They were all so friendly and we looked forward to seeing them each day. All of the staff at the hotel were amazing with our baby and made her feel so happy and welcome. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and easily accessible with plenty of ramps for pushchairs and wheelchair users. There is a selection of pools and sun lounger availability was never a problem. They’re lovely sun loungers and very comfortable too. We were very lucky to be given an upgrade to a family bungalow with an ocean view in block 9. The bedroom was beautiful and well appointed, with a Nespresso coffee machine and the best stocked minibar we’ve had, which was replenished daily. The cleaning of the room was do

The buffet restaurant has great food options, and there are a few a la carte restaurants you can also book as part of your package. There is also a crepe bar next to the main swimming pool and they serve an amazing espresso. Room fridge is daily refilled with drinks included in the package. There are bars day and night if you want an extra drink. There are activities for kids, but not many for a 11yo, but my son enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and drinking delicious virgin mojitos all day 😂. There is a small shop with beach/swimming pool essenciais with very reasonable prices. I never had issues with parking, although I stayed at the hotel most of my time. My son forgot his phone in the last day and we realised only at the airport. I contacted the guest relations and they were very helpful to communicate with another guest to bring the phone to me. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mitsis Selection Laguna (family of 4 including 2 kids 10 and under). The resort was clean, well organized, plenty of food and drink options and conviently located. We really appreciated the a-la-carte restaurant dinners/lunches where food is cooked to order, served steaming hot and delicious. The resort was easily able to accomodate 3 families who traveled together(9 people) during meals with large family tables that seat up to 10 people at the buffet (a nice touch for large groups to dine together). The drinks were well prepared. Staff was extremely helpful and efficient. All around the experience was excellent and left us with an great impression of the Mitsis brand. We are very likely to consider staying at a Mitsis hotel in the future.

They touted themselves as a 5-star, "ultra all inclusive" resort. The resort itself might be more like 4.5 star as it could use a little TLC in some areas. We checked in to find water all over our bathroom floor from an apparent leaky toilet. After 3 different calls to the front desk, an employee came in and laid a towel down in front of the toilet. That was their repair! I had asked various questions (like meal times, how to book reservations at the restaurants, etc.) and was just told to refer to their website. I couldn't even find the correct website! I had to call the front desk and have the lady walk me through each click on the website, only to learn that there were no reservations available at any of their restaurants! I didn't even know there was a gym on the premises until I happened upon it while searching for a restroom. Information at check-in was definitely lacking. Many of the employees there were not really friendly. They appeared to dislike their jobs. We have stayed at many different all inclusive resorts in several different countries, and this has to be the worst service I've ever received, despite the physical beauty of the place. I would recommend they send management and/or staff to an all-inclusive in the Caribbean to learn how to operate. I will also add that the beach is very rocky and not very swimmable. But the rooms were very spacious.

Hersonissos is very chill. My hotel was fabulous- did not see a need to go out to clubs, etc., except for excursions, as it was all inclusive. There was nightly entertainment, 5 pools, several restaurants, and my own private beach. Very kid/family friendly as well as singles.

The best thing about this hotel is the service. The best i have seen. Everyone is professional and friendly. There is nothing in the area within walking distance but 10 mins taxi drive to Hesronesou lots of bars and restaurants to cater for all ages. Definitely recommend the hotel.

I want to start off by saying that this facility was super clean and housecleaning was very nice. Concierge was not helpful, the food was not good and I could not even get a reservation two of the 3 nights and I was one person. The location is remote and even though there is a beach front it is not swimable.

Awesome place. We stayed only 3 nights, but this is really a luxurious place with extraordinary service and outstanding all inclusive. The beach is nice with rough sand but sharp stones in the narrow water. Not the best place for swimming without swimming-shoes.

Really enjoyed our stay. Family friendly property. The beach in front of the property was not great but you could walk to a much nicer beach. I would suggest perhaps having a train or something to transport guests to the nicer beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mitsis Selection Laguna (family of 4 including 2 kids 10 and under). The resort was clean, well organized, plenty of food and drink options and conviently located. We really appreciated the a-la-carte restaurant dinners/lunches where food is cooked to order, served steaming hot and delicious. The resort was easily able to accomodate 3 families who traveled together(9 people) during meals with large family tables that seat up to 10 people at the buffet (a nice touch for large groups to dine together). The drinks were well prepared. Staff was extremely helpful and efficient. All around the experience was excellent and left us with an great impression of the Mitsis brand. We are very likely to consider staying at a Mitsis hotel in the future.

I’d give 5* to kids club facilities & staff. Great entertainments, safe conditions, lovely and friendly staff. Restaurant options, menu and service were also great. Only downside is it was difficult to get a booking for certain restaurants. Cons The hotel looks a bit worn out, especially rooms, sun beds and spa area. Bare minimum was done when cleaning rooms. Repetitive meals in main restaurant, limited food choices especially for people with food allergies Overall we had a pleasant stay, although it didn’t always feel as luxury 5* holiday

Excellent hotel, everything from rooms to food to staff was excellent. Drinks are also excellent and not the cheap stuff you usually get with all inclusives. Having the restaurants within the hotel is very convenient and the food there is also great. Added bonus of having a desert restaurant which stays open into the night.

Great all inclusive hotel. The staff is amazing, good food and drink options, property well maintained and clean. The buffet restaurant has great food options, and there are a few a la carte restaurants you can also book as part of your package. There is also a crepe bar next to the main swimming pool and they serve an amazing espresso. Room fridge is daily refilled with drinks included in the package. There are bars day and night if you want an extra drink. There are activities for kids, but not many for a 11yo, but my son enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and drinking delicious virgin mojitos all day 😂. There is a small shop with beach/swimming pool essenciais with very reasonable prices. I never had issues with parking, although I stayed at the hotel most of my time. My son forgot his phone in the last day and we realised only at the airport. I contacted the guest relations and they were very helpful to communicate with another guest to bring the phone to me. Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Mitsis Laguna. The facilities are great and the food and drink options are fantastic. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. There was only one negative point which is that the hotel let people book the a la carte restaurants before they arrive (if you book direct), meaning that when we arrived, all of the restaurants were fully booked for dinner for our entire stay! I don't think this should be allowed as the hotel is making a poor first impression for guests as you feel like you can't enjoy the restaurants on site.

Absolutely amazing stay. Every member of staff were so incredibly friendly, the food and drink offering was extensive and food was excellent. The pool areas offered options for everyone, evening entertainment was brilliant and a pool party with a DJ was a big highlight. A la Carte restaurants were excellent and overall, a perfect holiday that I would love to do again

Lovely hotel in a stunning position by the sea. Had a family pool access room & this was ideal for us with two adults & two teens sharing a screened off area in a very large room. This part of the hotel is a bit quieter & you have reserved loungers &umbrella outside your room, which we really enjoyed. The bathroom in our room was at best tired, at worst, a bit grubby. Missing sealant, a shower head that wouldn't stay up, a sink with 'stuff' in the drainage channel and a visiting posse of ants didn't really add to the charm! Just a shame, as the rooms were lovely & this let them down. Food wise, the speciality restaurants were excellent, with a good, high quality selection and lovely staff. The buffet was a bit more mixed - similar selection each day despite advertised themes, lots of mushy casseroles & soggy veg - but good salads, a roast meat, pasta, pizza station. Bread selection was a bit poor - often hard & stale, croissants like bullets & desserts very sweet & gooey - but plentiful! Usually lots of greek yogurt, fruit, honey & baklava, which were fab! The beach bar serves gyros & burgers which were well cooked & tasty; the pancake house is amazing! Hotel grounds are stunning & well maintained. Lots of cats which hotel clearly feed and look after, which was nice! Staff cannot do enough for you - could not fault the service. So in summary - a lovely holiday & a lovely hotel - could be better in small details, but on the whole, a really solid option.

Overall the Mitsis Laguna is an excellent resort. It's well maintained and the staff are extremely polite and helpful making the overall experience excellent. The only point to make was the sound proofing in the bungalow that we had near the 2nd pool. We could hear the people both above and in adjoining room quite clearly and the early morning cleaning outside woke us up most mornings.

A very nice upscale all inclusive. Meals were all good as well as the drinks. The only suggestions I can give are- put thermostatic mixing valves on all showers as the temperature swings wildly from cooled to scalding rapidly and place wrapped soap in the soap dish so guests will not assume that the hand lotion is the only available source for washing hands. The breakfast buffet is large and varied and unlike so many other Greek hotels the food on buffets is served hot. Many made to order stations exist. Numerous pools are available and the al a carte restaurants are great. The drink and wine section is also exceptional with a wide choice and excellent recommendations. A nutritionist (currently working on her Masters) consults with those who have dietary or food allergy considerations. Overall the best hotel we stayed at in our three weeks at the point of writing this review. We stayed two nights but you could likely stay a week and not exhaust the choice in bars, menus or drink options. No problem finding a nice lounger by the pool either.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Our whirlpool sea view room was beautiful, comfortable, and had stunning views. The hotel was spotless throughout and everything was maintained to a very high standard. The staff were exceptional so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which really made our stay extra special. The food was delicious with a fantastic selection available at every meal.
