Quick check in. Comfortable bed. No ice machines, grab and go breakfast. Although there was a kitchen in the room you had to request what you needed, such as a coffee pot, cups and spoons. Requested additional pillows and was informed there were no extras.

Despite the fact there was major renovations going on at the time, everyone was exceptionally nice and the room was clean. One room of improvement, since it's being renovated, is better water pressure.

No coffee/tea maker in room. No hot breakfast. Grab and go breakfast was on a small table and limited in choices. Only provided sweetened creamer. Not good for diabetics or someone watching sugars or just likes plain creamer. No ice machines. Hallway carpet smelled like dogs. They really need to tear up the hallway carpets and put in tile that they can mop clean. Room frig dirty on outside. Whole place needs upgraded.

Lady at check-in, most helpful and very pleasant. The property(room) bare bones . It was clean. We have stayed here several times over the years and since covid the amenities are right at basic. Staff has always been courteous and nice.

The hotel was under heavy construction with some floors blocked. Stairwells blocked and faulty key cards made getting in and out a challenge. We left early without a refund because staying there was so bad.

We enjoyed staying here, room was very clean. They are very pet friendly and affordable. The only thing that was bad was the water pressure in the shower, it was very slow. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

The hotel registration was very nice. The breakfast was not good. I was told it was a coffee breakfast. No orange nothing hot. Everything was instant. I woke early Sunday morning preparing to leaving there were roaches in the bathroom. Also, the room was always damp and moist from the humidity.

The beds were hard and the bedding smelled like cigarette smoke. The tub had soap scum in it and looked like it hadnt been scrubbed ever. The staff was friendly. There was a party going on over our heads all night long with loud music and stomping around. Do not recommend staying here!

The hallways smelled like smoke in this nonsmoking hotel. Back doors propped open, smokers and drinkers out back. I forgot I was in Mt. Pleasant for a moment. I got bitten throughout the night from something in the room and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the covers after finding hair everywhere. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a place to take your family.

Front desk was very personable, room was clean and everything functioned properly. Kitchen consisted of full size fridge two burners microwave sink. Dishes and pans were available by the front desk for cooking. Breakfast was minimal, granola bars, oatmeal, and grit packets, coffee, and tea. I will stay again as it is affordable and clean.

The furniture also had other people hair and multiple stains. The bed looked clean. Overall very average and happy I was only staying one night.

The staff at the desk was very nice. However when I got off the elevator smoke was strong. The room smelled like a club on a Sunday morning! It’s 1 AM and I am just trying to breathe. I booked through Expedia and paid them. Got here and they ran my card for an additional $180.80. Now being told that was for incidentals and will be refunded. Will not be staying here again mainly because I can’t breathe it’s so thick with a smokey smell.

A rat was at the bottom of my bed 20 minutes after I fell asleep. Jumped out of bed, packed up my stuff and left. I was only there for about an hour. Horrible!!!!!

Great hotel! Very welcoming staff and very clean rooms, perfect for an over night stay and perfect size room equipped with a kitchen and a lot of seating and space. Would recommend especially for a family with small kids. Also the grab and go breakfast was perfect, fresh hot coffee and muffins. Loved our stay 10/10 would recommend!

Overall was a very enjoyable stay but breakfast was as minimal as I have ever seen, could provide a little more. And room TV's small size is REALLY behind the times, definitely need to upgrade.

Staff was great, however… We had two rooms, and other family had 3 additional rooms for a local wedding. Everyone in the group complained of the beds being too hard. There was an odd odor in a couple of the rooms. Bring your own shampoo and soap, as theirs is total garbage. Snacks and coffee were OK. Saving grace was that the AC was robust, the fridge cold, and shower head had great flow. I’ve stayed at other ES properties, but this one needs help. And the best part… my 88 year old mother woke up to cockroaches. Won’t be staying here again.

I can’t give a review of the property because my reservation was given away. My family and I were scrambling at 11 o’clock at night in an unfamiliar area to find other accommodations. The staff offered no explanation and there was no offer to help find other accommodations.

When checking in, Vicky (working the front desk) had arguably the worst attitude i have ever seen. The photos of the room online were not even remotely close to what the room looked like. The entire hotel smelled terrible and the room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. We left soon after checking in to find another place to stay.

Matthew, the manager, gets kudos for managing this property well. He is well-spoken and well-mannered, as well as responsive and conscientious. He was helpful to me. The room was like a studio apt, and I made use of the kitchenette for a couple of meals. I didn't have much of the breakfast provided, but the coffee was excellent. I stayed two nights so I could visit Patriots Point and Ft. Sumter. This hotel is very conveniently located for those activities--less than 2 miles away. Matthew, the manager, gets kudos for managing this property well. He is well-spoken and well-mannered, as well as responsive and conscientious. He was helpful to me. The room was like a studio apt, and I made use of the kitchenette for a couple of meals. I didn't have much of the breakfast provided, but the coffee was excellent. I stayed two nights so I could visit Patriots Point and Ft. Sumter. This hotel is very conveniently located for those activities--less than 2 miles away. Additionally, I could walk to the local supermarket and eateries. The property is just over the Cooper River Bridge from Charleston, to the north. I was so glad I decided to stay there. I had everything I needed.

Love this hotel, room was nice , bed very comfortable. very clean hotel including the stairwells which even smelt nice. Staff are great and friendly. The location of the hotel is good too and didn't feel unsafe when went out for an evening walk

Good size room at an excellent value. Very helpful and friendly staff. Ten minutes from to downtown Charleston though the area does not have the charm or the noise. Grab and go breakfast is meager. Coffee and granola bars.

Best location and value in Mt. Pleasant, Close to the bridge to downtown, beaches, Patriots Point, Shem Creek, grocery stores and countless dining options. Management and staff consistently do a masterful job of managing an older facility that has full kitchens (including a rangetop) in every room. i’ve been staying here for a good number of years, when i’m in the area, and will contine to do so in the future.

No coffee/tea maker in room. No hot breakfast. Grab and go breakfast was on a small table and limited in choices. Only provided sweetened creamer. Not good for diabetics or someone watching sugars or just likes plain creamer. No ice machines. Hallway carpet smelled like dogs. They really need to tear up the hallway carpets and put in tile that they can mop clean. Room frig dirty on outside. Whole place needs upgraded.

Front desk was very personable, room was clean and everything functioned properly. Kitchen consisted of full size fridge two burners microwave sink. This property is very dated, the bathtub was chipped. The bed was uncomfortable. There was someone living in their car in the parking lot, and there seemed to be a certain amount of guests living there somewhat permanently. If you’re looking for lowest cost, this is it, but don’t expect much.

Our air conditioning kept turning off all night so the room was stuffy and gross smelling. Our room was not the cleanest. We checked in and not even an hour later our door opened because they thought it was vacant... but we just checked in? The check in process was chaotic but he was new...so that isnt his fault. They offer carts for luggage but the doors are manual so I'm not sure how they think thats helpful for guests. All the elevator buttons were sticking and it was super sketch. The trash room was disgusting. The entire hotel smelled weird. Almost like air conditioning (or lack thereof) was a major contributor. We will not be staying here again.
