The hot tub was not usable. The heater for the pool was broken. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly and the staff were not very knowledgeable. The staff was literally arguing over how to check in a customer when I was attempting to check in. I do not recommend.

Room was clean as we expected. Breakfast was better quality than most of the chains we have recently stayed in. Was disappointed in the hot tub and pool area. It looked like it was in need of some cleaning and maintenance. A lot of puddles on the floor and dirt in the hot tub probably from someone's water shoes.

The staff we encountered were great, but the facility itself left a lot to be desired. The hot tub was closed for yearly maintenance and the pool was tiny. The hot water would shut off several times while you were in the shower and the bathroom design was small and cramped. We were on the first floor and the curtains were sheer so people could see in.

The biggest issue we came across was the smell in the room. It smelled almost like old wet carpet that had been sitting for awhile. We went to the front desk and told the clerk about it, I don’t know the guys name, and he gave us another room key to see if it was any better, it was not, then told us basically that part of the hotel was older so it is what it is, sorry. We end to the near by Walmart and bought some Frebreeze to help the smell out. We only spent one night so there wasn’t much we could do. We were just traveling through. The hotel is very quiet which is really nice, the room seemed clean, and having a choice of restaurants plus a Walmart within walking distance is a plus. If you aren’t staying here but one night, and have some frebreeze handy, it’s an affordable place to stay.

The amenities were great including the breakfast. Our issues were with the room. It was clean but it had a musty smell, the air conditioner was very loud when it turned on and they must use vinegar to clean the bathroom. Everything appeared clean though!

Great location near lots of restaurants and shopping, some even walkable. Slightly off the main drag, so it's mostly quiet. Had no trouble parking. Room with king bed was on the small side but workable. Bathroom could not have been any smaller and still usable. If I were fatter, I would not have been able to go into the bathroom and still close the door - there just wasn't room. Water pressure in the shower was good. Hot water was near instant. Appreciated the useful on-screen tv guide. Would stay at this location again.

Clean and nice. 2 queen room was comfortable and quiet. Pleasant surprise to see the continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits & gray! The property itself is going through some exterior maintenance and the wall paper of the interior halls needed some updates. All in all a pleasant stay. Also, Robert, the front desk attendant was very personable, pleasant and very helpful. The attendant that took care of the breakfast Saturday and Sunday was extremely pleasant, cheerful, very responsive and very welcoming. I didn't catch her name, but she was a gem!

This is a very basic level of Marriott - but very adequate. Small rooms and bathrooms etc. We did have a "no hot water" issue one morning which was not pleasant. And we had to switch rooms for the lack of comfort on the bed. That being said, the staff really was over the top accomodating and helpful to us so I was very pleased and grateful for them. The breakfast room was above average clean and pleasant.

Room tiny, does NOT sleep 4, toilet was clogged and messed up the entire stay, elevator was broken for an entire day which does not work when you’re on the 2nd floor and partially disabled. Room door did not shut all the way without having to be forced closed. The staff was great, breakfast options were great.

The stay was fine until I tried to leave in the morning and realized someone stole my catalytic converters off my truck while in the hotel parking lot. Another guest tried to stop these people and reported it to the front desk… the night staff reported it to the police who never showed up. In the morning when I realized this happened- the front desk staff was no help to me. Told me I would have to wait until the afternoon for the GM to show up. They wouldn’t even tell me what time this crime happened. Literally NO service recovery. I won’t stay at a Fairfield Marriott again or go back to KC. A horrible deal and the hotel should have done something to make the situation better.

After I booked the room i sent a message to Fairfield inn to ensure my rooms were handicap accessible, they said they would put add it to my portfolio. I assume that meant they would get me an accessible room or let me know if it was available. Apparently it did not. Once we got there I was told they did not have double rooms that were accessible. There were 6 individuals in my party, so I requested 2 double rooms, one being accessible. My son is 22 years old with cerebral palsy and wheel chair bound. The rooms they gave us he couldn't even turn around. The bath had no grab bar for him to hold on to. His showers consisted of using a cup to rinse him, no shower head with a hose. The hotel did offer us an accessible suite that had two king beds with a roll in shower. Turned that down because all six of us were near adult age and three to a bed was unacceptable. I booked the room about 2 months out to ensure availability during the thanksgiving weekend. If they had informed me that they didn't have a double that was accessible I would have found a different hotel. I guess that part didn't make it in my "portfolio" We ended up leaving a day early. This is not the first time I booked what I thought was an accessible room only to find out it wasn't. I always get the standard reply "we are so sorry" "but nothing else is available"
After I booked the room i sent a message to Fairfield inn to ensure my rooms were handicap accessible, they said they would put add it to my portfolio. I assume that meant they would get me an accessible room or let me know if it was available. Apparently it did not. Once we got there I was told they did not have double rooms that were accessible. There were 6 individuals in my party, so I requested 2 double rooms, one being accessible. My son is 22 years old with cerebral palsy and wheel chair bound. The rooms they gave us he couldn't even turn around. The bath had no grab bar for him to hold on to. His showers consisted of using a cup to rinse him, no shower head with a hose. The hotel did offer us an accessible suite that had two king beds with a roll in shower. Turned that down because all six of us were near adult age and three to a bed was unacceptable. I booked the room about 2 months out to ensure availability during the thanksgiving weekend. If they had informed me that they didn't have a double that was accessible I would have found a different hotel. I guess that part didn't make it in my "portfolio" We ended up leaving a day early. This is not the first time I booked what I thought was an accessible room only to find out it wasn't. I always get the standard reply "we are so sorry" "but nothing else is available"

The staff are fantastic. The building is old with a weird layout. During our 3 day stay the key stopped working twice. Our safe ignored our password and stayed locked, and the message light on our phone flashed all the time, but there was never a message. Fairfield should move that staff to a new building.

Clean and nice. 2 queen room was comfortable and quiet. Pleasant surprise to see the continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits & gray! The property itself is going through some exterior maintenance and the wall paper of the interior halls needed some updates. All in all a pleasant stay. Also, Robert, the front desk attendant was very personable, pleasant and very helpful. The attendant that took care of the breakfast Saturday and Sunday was extremely pleasant, cheerful, very responsive and very welcoming. I didn't catch her name, but she was a gem!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this property. The room was significantly overpriced given its condition and the overall experience fell well below the standards I expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. Upon arrival, we were not greeted— the man at the front desk made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. As we made our way to the room, we noticed wallpaper peeling off the hallway walls, which immediately raised concerns about the property’s upkeep. When we entered our room, the first thing that stood out was a chair covered in large, unsightly stains. Later that evening, after returning from dinner, I discovered serious maintenance issues in the bathroom. Water was leaking from around the faucet where it connected to the wall, and when I attempted to pull the diverter for the shower, the entire faucet detached. The shower curtain was ripped, and the lack of transition trim between the bedroom and bathroom created a safety hazard. Even my 13-year-old child expressed concern upon entering, remarking, “I hope we don’t get bed bugs.” Overall, this property did not reflect the quality or care associated with the Marriott name. Great location near lots of restaurants and shopping, some even walkable. Slightly off the main drag, so it's mostly quiet. Had no trouble parking. Room with king bed was on the small side but workable. Bathroom could not have been any smaller and still usable. If I were fatter, I would not have been able to go into the bathroom and still close the door - there just wasn't room. Water pressure in the shower was good. Hot water was near instant. Appreciated the useful on-screen tv guide. Would stay at this location again.

This is the second time we have visited this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. We stay here because it is about 15 minutes from Arrowhead stadium and it is in so close to restaurants and shopping! The staff have been super friendly and the rooms are clean and quite comfortable!

This was easy to get to off 35, with great dining options within a few minutes drive. The room was nice, quiet, clean. The staff and other guests were courteous, kind, easy to visit with, and very knowledgeable. The parking lot was easy to manage with our full size pickup. If I had to find a negative, it would be that I don't prefer their coffee creamer! But that's pretty pathetic for a negative.

The biggest issue we came across was the smell in the room. It smelled almost like old wet carpet that had been sitting for awhile. We went to the front desk and told the clerk about it, I don’t know the guys name, and he gave us another room key to see if it was any better, it was not, then told us basically that part of the hotel was older so it is what it is, sorry. We end to the near by Walmart and bought some Frebreeze to help the smell out. We only spent one night so there wasn’t much we could do. We were just traveling through. The hotel is very quiet which is really nice, the room seemed clean, and having a choice of restaurants plus a Walmart within walking distance is a plus. If you aren’t staying here but one night, and have some frebreeze handy, it’s an affordable place to stay.

Room was clean as we expected. Breakfast was better quality than most of the chains we have recently stayed in. Was disappointed in the hot tub and pool area. It looked like it was in need of some cleaning and maintenance. A lot of puddles on the floor and dirt in the hot tub probably from someone's water shoes.

This is a very basic level of Marriott - but very adequate. Small rooms and bathrooms etc. We did have a "no hot water" issue one morning which was not pleasant. And we had to switch rooms for the lack of comfort on the bed. That being said, the staff really was over the top accomodating and helpful to us so I was very pleased and grateful for them. I asked for a room for 4 people a king bed and a pull out couch. The couch they said would sleep two - if your children yes. I spoke to the attendant and was told to talk to management. There were 3 towels for 4 adults, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel. We asked for more and was told housekeeping would bring what was needed I paid $588 for very little. I thought that it being a part of a Marriott chain that it would be excellent and what a surprise I would not recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice if the fridge had a small freezer to keep blue ice frozen. We loved the pool. There was a towel on each chair by the pool. The room was nice. Breakfast was good but after three days of eating the same thing, more choices would have been nice but the food was great.

Stayed for a few days while in town. The check in staff wasn't great. She seemed like I was bothering her, and she mentioned I should have checked in online.... Which wasn't an option. Pool was small, but adequate. Hot tub wasn't hot. More of a warm tub. And the luggage cart had a flat wheel which made things difficult. Biggest shout-out to Tracy running the breakfast! She was friendly, personable and a lovely person. A smiling face all three mornings. And the breakfast was stellar. Even had gluten free muffins and bread which was a great touch. And the toppings for the oatmeal was fantastic. Would stay again in the future.
