Comfort Inn Kansas City Midtown

The property’s location is nice for access to mid-downtown dining, etc but the area surrounding it is shabby. Generally, it’s in serious need of renovation. It was “ok” for 1 night, but I wouldn’t prefer it for longer. The bathroom had been upgraded. The breakfast was ok.

I'll be honest, at first I was skeptical. But I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was clean and the room had a great layout and was nicely updated. The bed was pretty comfortable and everything was great. The location felt a bit sketchy, but we didn't have any issues. It was a little noisy throughout the night with sirens and people in the hallway being loud. The staff was very friendly and check-in/check-out was quick and easy. No real complaints. My wife and I were happy with our stay.

Decent little hotel. Was only there for a night for a concert. Was close enough to the streetcar to walk to it. Breakfast was decent, pretty much the same as all hotel breakfast.

The rooms were clean. Walls and ceiling are thin so noisy guests were were heard easily. Staff was friendly. The room had a strange odor! Bathroom floor was sticky.
