Perfect for me and my dog. Chong was very accommodating and gave us a corner room with its own little "deck" near the guest laundry. Lots of space for dog walking (not to mention all the trails and beaches that dogs on leash are allowed). It's an old seaside motel but rooms have been updated and are very clean. On the south side of Fort Bragg just 1/4 mile from Hwy 20, it was quiet and the room was set back from the highway. Walking distance to Rolling Dough Bakery/Coffee open early in the morning. Sadly, the hot tub was closed, but overall Coast Inn was what I expected and good value compared with so many more expensive offerings.

This is an older property that needs some updating and TLC. Our room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the owner is still using Covid as an excuse to keep the spa closed and there are signs around the property saying to keep a six foot distance.

They were very nice and accommodating, they checked on us to see how things were, definitely our new honeymoon/anniversary spot. I loved that they weren’t too over crowded, very confident location, the masseuse was great and the front desk lady was a complete delight. 110% recommend!!

The place was very well kept very well clean. Everything was in great working order. The location was perfect. Close to the coastline. I would recommend this place for anyone on a medium budget. It is a very nice place to go, I will be going there again when I go back thank you so much😎

The first thing we noticed was that the two steps to get into the room are angled downward whic made it difficult to get in and out of the room. The beds were very comfortable but the floor was filthy and in need of a mopping. There were spider webs both in the ceiling of the bathroom and bedroom.

Requested queen bed, no stairs. Not available so upgraded to king bed no stairs. Only complaint is that the a/c/ventilation is ancient and the room always seemed muggy & warmer than I wanted. Being limited mobility was thrilled to have a walk in shower w built in shower seat!!

Lots of space for dog walking (not to mention all the trails and beaches that dogs on leash are allowed). It's an old seaside motel but rooms have been updated and are very clean. On the south side of Fort Bragg just 1/4 mile from Hwy 20, it was quiet and the room was set back from the highway. Walking distance to Rolling Dough Bakery/Coffee open early in the morning. Sadly, the hot tub was closed, but overall Coast Inn was what I expected and good value compared with so many more expensive offerings.

In short - AVOID this place. Dirty sheets, broken plumbing, worn out and disgusting! The worst "hotel room" I have stayed in within the USA, this is third-world level dirty, worn out, and way over-priced! The local health dept should have this place condemned.

Everything was amazing. The staff is amazing. Definitely the place I plan to say when I come out again. Hopefully the hot tub will be up and running next time.

We are not totally happy with the motel. 1. During check in they charge $20 each for additional person on top of the rate be paid. She discounted half of it which suppose to be $80 down to 40.00 ! Looks like this hidden charges 2. When we got into the room, it smelled bad like a typical old moldy house that never been cleaned and sanitized so they did ozolate? to get rid of the smell. 3. The towels are not sanitized and looks like a rug than bath towels ( see pictures) 4. The bathroom was so filthy, when I wiped the floors you can see the filthy black that show on the towels. ( see pictures!) 5 No full time front desk. 6. Beds are good, nice and good smells. In this case I think we need our money back at least half. I give one star for the bed and bedding comfortable and smells cleaned
