Stayed 1 night

Man at front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. Room was spotless and comfortable…..but when I had ask what time the pool closed as I was checking in, he told me open til 9pm. Went to room, unpacked, got our bathing suits on, headed to pool and passed a family of 5 with a little boy crying saying “I hate this motel”. The dad ask me if we were going to pool because they had just walked over there and It was closed and had been the past two days of their stay. They were very disappointed as was I when I also saw they had it closed. Went to office to ask ….as when i checked in 1/2 hour earlier, he answered it stayed open til 9pm. When I ask if he could open it he just said so sorry pool is closed. The only reason I chose this motel over 2 others I had looked at was because it had a pool which I planned to use a lot during our stay. I felt so sorry for that family who had booked 5 days there to be able to swim with their kids! He stated they could not get their money back as we couldn’t either. Pool closed with no reason ruined this experience for us. Be sure to make sure gate is open to pool before booking if you are wanting to use it.

Stayed 1 night

Our room had a weird wet smell. Also they required a $100 deposit after we had paid in full at our booking. Said they would refund it at check out which was only a 1 night stay. My refund on the deposit was supposed to go back on my card the day of check out according to staff. Of course it’s still not back on my card and could take up to 3 days.
