Even tho the outside of place looks old and could use some paint, the inside has been refurbished and was very up to date and clean. Large TV mounted on wall was very nice. Small refrigerator and microwave, coffee pot. There was no hair dryer or at least not one that I saw, but not a problem for me since I didn't need one. There were no individual samples of shampoo, conditioner, or body wash, but in the shower there were mounted squirt bottles of shampoo and conditioner.. which I didn't use, since I brought my own toiletries. There was no bathtub, only a shower, but it was large, had clear sliding glass doors and a few small shelves to put toiletries on. The shower head was large, the water pressure was not super strong but it was strong enough. Plenty of hot water. The water pressure in the sink was awful weak. The mattresses were almost a little too soft for me, but bedding was very nice with a sheet and fluffy comforter and the bed spread. So I slept very comfortably. I think it must be dog friendly since I heard a dog barking next door to us. We had a room of first floor and at the end of the hall, was a room with washer dryer, drink machine and ice machine. There was a swimming pool, which we didn't use because it was too cool and windy. All in all I was very pleased with the room and our entire stay. Close driving distance to get on the Trolly or get to historic downtown. We would stay there again if we go back St Augustine for sight seeing.

Girl at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and needs comfortable. We stayed with our dog. Parking Lot was VERY crowded and a bit difficult to maneuver. It made things a bit harder to walk a dog. Parking Lot covers all of the property outside the room. Smoking outside our room was bothersome.

Overall this wasn't a bad hotel. The wifi was dependable, the room was clean, and it had amenities like TV, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc. I didn't care for the fact that there was no breakfast on site, and I really found the limited parking to be inconvenient. There were hardly enough spaces for all the guests, and the ones they have are very tight and tough to get in and out of when they are fully booked. But other than that, it's a convenient and reasonably priced place to stay in the Ancient City.

Friendly and kind employees. Room was perfect however no freezer in refrigerator. They did allow me to keep my blue ice in the lobby freezer to freeze overnight. King size bed was very comfy with nice bedding. My only complaints would be swimming pool was out in parking lot facing the street with no landscaping and the parking lot spaces were extremely tight. Overall I had a good two day stay. Reasonably priced

Remodeled room was very nice! New floor, new shower, big new TV. The room also included frig and microwave and had a pool. For a low budget hotel (I only paid $97) the room was really nice and just a 5 minute drive to the historic district. Great value for the money….

Clean and modern rooms, around 5 minutes from the downtown area. A couple of restaurants around the area. Have a pool and a convenient store with snacks. 24 hour front desk. In the morning the have coffee and Danish free in feont desk.

Great stay for the price. The lady running the desk was very nice and helpful. Not walking distance to the historic district, but only 2miles away. They have snacks for purchase and the prices are good. Too cold for the pool, but it’s nice, big and clean

We’ve stayed at this hotel every year since 2020 because we loved the vibe, the facilities, and the atmosphere. Sadly, this visit was a complete disappointment. We arrived at midnight after an 8-hour drive with our kids and were given a room that smelled strongly of mold — it even had a dehumidifier running. I kindly asked to be moved, but the owner refused and told me to find another hotel if I wasn’t happy, which was shocking at 2 a.m. She even hung up on me when I declined her offer to move to another of her hotels, which had terrible reviews. Only after I mentioned calling the police did she agree to give us another room. Unfortunately, the entire property was in poor condition — no lights in the hallways, the pool was closed, everything felt neglected and worn down. It’s heartbreaking to see how much this place has declined. We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The owner lacks professionalism and basic respect for her guests. Bedding had not been changed. Stained sheets and hairs found.. Had to change rooms at midnight. Noisy occupants next door drinking until 2am. Rooms were pretty decent but changing rooms was not what I wanted to do so late in the evening. Wall thermostat was missing in room, very noisy extraction fan and no iron in the room because some clientele like to take them. Surprised to see several police cruisers outside reception attending to an ‘incident’ On the plus side, hotel is only few minutes drive into Historic district and the rates were pretty cheap and the ‘day’ staff were pretty helpful.

Reservation was made in August for an accessible room for the middle of September as we have medical issues. Arrived at the hotel mid-afternoon. When we registered, the front desk said there were no accessible rooms available and put us in another room. She did her best and finally got us an accessible room but the length of time we had to wait we had already unpacked. Five stars for her! Disappointed that the entrance door was dirty, parking spaces not wide enough, water pressure was very low at the sink, no door/wall hooks in bathroom, no USB ports, no signal for network TV stations, couldn't hang clothes as frig is in that area. Will not be staying there again. It was convenient to downtown though.

My husband and I decided to spend a couple of days in St Augustine. We were heading home after my husband’s father’s funeral. It was a rough week and we both needed to slow down and refresh. Staying at this hotel was the wrong decision!!! Front desk clerk checking in acted like I was bothering her. Never stood up, Never welcomed me!! She then rudely demanded a $100 deposit! No where on Hotels.com does it make you aware of $100 deposit. I had already paid for the room online. She would not tell me what it was for!! Room was nicely remodeled but floor was dirty!! No way to sweep or vacuum it. Totally gross walking barefoot so I wore my shoes when walking on the floor. Water pressure is horrible!!! If you have long hair like me be prepared to take forever to get your shampoo out. Bed is hard as a rock and the sheets felt sandy. Upon checking out I had to prove I had the credit card that I paid with for the room and then I was not allowed to leave until she checked out the room!! I left all used towels in a pile outside the bathroom door and I stripped the bed and left that in a neat pile (I do this wherever I stay). I will NEVER stay here again!!

The staff was great and very attentive. The desk agent (I am sorry I didn't get her name - female, brown hair, very friendly and welcoming) made sure we were on the first floor as noted in my note and we had a good conversation. We love St. Augustine and will stay here again.

For a motel, the room and location were both very clean. Only a 4 minute drive to the heart of St. Augustine. Great stay for the price. Only issue was a nearby railroad so early in the morning you could hear the train honking. Not ideal but not a deal breaker
