The hotel is way outdated dirty and the driveway/parking lot is full of huge potholes They dont offer breakfast anymore and the hot tub has been out of service for years Pool was gross looking But the front desk lady was really sweet

This was just ridiculous. You go to check in and I look over at the pool and there's a sign on it that says closed for maintenance. Hotels.com didn't list anything about that. When you're traveling with two young kids after a day in the car they need to burn energy. Then we go to our room. Certainly is not a very nice place. Go to get ice from the ice maker and it is listed as broken. Would have never stayed here had we known the pool was under maintenance and the sign obviously had been up for a long time.

Pool was out of order. Tiny towels. Breakfast a bit disappointing. Room was very nice. Shower was hot with a pulsing massager, so that was great too! A comfortable stay.

There is no breakfast. No one is ever at the front desk, you call and no one answers. Rooms were not ready. Bathrooms are small can barely shut the door. Showers do not drain you have to hold the nozzle the whole time for the water to drain. The building smells of mold and bad bo. The outside doors are never locked. Anyone can walk in. Worst hotel experience by far.

This is not a bad hotel - it is an inexpensive hotel. The room was clean but very dated, what you'd expect for the price. The room was very quiet, which is awesome. The amenities are sparse, but you aren't at the Four Seasons, nor are you paying for it. The pool was not in service when we stayed, the TV was small, but I felt safe and slept well. In other words, you get what you are paying for. If you are coming to the Mexico Missouri area to do things, this is a great stay. If you imagine this to be a resort, you will be terribly disappointed.

Horrible Experience, Easily the worst hotel I have ever seen, even the worst motel stay I have had was better then this. Dirty and stained floors, furniture and walls. Microwave was rusting out and didnt work, Fridge did not get cold, the Shower had a single spray in the center with holes around the head leaking out, the single spray was small and hard to use to wash any part of your body. The sink was pulling away from the wall as was the toilet. The towels were all stained and moist, the Nightstand drawers had crackers and crumbs in them. All but one of the lamps was missing light bulbs. The bed did not have a fitted sheet and instead was just a flat sheet that kept pulling off the bed as it seemed too small to even be on the bed. The smell... Oh my gosh the smell was horrible, a mix of heavy cigarette smoke with a little bit of weed, throw up and dirty diaper all rolled into one. We had a hard time even breathing and it wasn;t just in our room it was everywhere. The pool was closed, the breakfast was non-existent and the staff was NEVER at the front desk. Our friends staying across the hall had someone sneak into her room in the middle of the night, breaking in through the window. The walls are peeling, the fire alarm doesn't seem to be working, they only provided 3 small flat pillows. The internet was massively slow, nearly unusable for anything but basic email checking. The Gym was barely working and frankly sucks. They were cleaning after dark. Grr.

Would rate a negative rating if that was an option. Don't stay here if you like clean beds, a clean shower and air conditioning. There were dead bugs, dirt in the tub, hair in the sink. We asked for our own cleaner to clean the tub.

Do not book this hotel. If it is the only thing in town available, go down the road 15 miles and pick somewhere else. The staff are nice enough but the whole experience was a nightmare. Its soooo unclean and run down. The pillow cases on our bed were disgusting. And we only had a sheet on the bed, no comforter. The carpet was caked with nastiness. I complained about the bedding and they gave us brand new out of the box, so that was at least a step in the right direction. Only one towel in the room. Asked for more, none were clean.... this was 7 at night when I asked and the hotel was not full. Lots of people just walking around at night, did not feel safe. Do not bring children here. Owner was not nice either.

Stained mattress showing through the bottom sheet, which was not a fitted sheet, but a top sheet that fit poorly. Cigarette burns on the bedspread. Smoke detector missing & wiring exposed. Dirty heater/cooling system. Dirty carpet.

There is an infestation. I have pictures and video of the cockroach in my room. Totally unacceptable.

The room was filthy

It was cheap which is why we stayed the night. Room was extremely hot when we arrived. No towels. Missing pillow case on bed. No blankets- only sheet and bed cover. Tub filthy with debris. Whole place smelled of pot. Would not recommend.

Most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I didn’t even end up sleeping there because I was sure they had bed bugs or something. Pillow cases weren’t even clean. There was bread and trash in the drawers. Stains or cigarette burns on everything.

THERE WERE BED BUGS! They did not serve breakfast, nor was there a coffee pot in the room. We had to check four rooms before finding one that was barely acceptable. There were so many stains on the linens and half the lights didn't work. And the key card to open the back door didn't work, so anyone could walk in. The lady that checked us in was super nice but the guy that check us out was asleep at the desk and rude. No offer to even discount the room. Will never stay there again.

Smelled of marijuana in the lobby as soon as you walk in. Room had a weird smell and towels, sheets and bathtub were stained.

Very noisy, the door handle to our room was broken and was not addressed when we informed staff. Room was dirty, with a bad oder through the whole place. We had an adjoining room with very loud strangers that left there TV on all night.

The hotel property is run down and dirty. The staff is not well trained. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. TV did not work. Patrons were loud all through the night. We did not feel safe in our room. No clothes hangers. No soaps or toiletries bedding was old and ragged. We left a day early because none of these issued were addressed.

Nothing wrong with the place. Looked a little long in the tooth, but room was fine.

We were upgraded to suite because our room wasn’t available. Room was nice and spacious and clean. It was quiet and comfortable . Overall the hallways and outside seemed a little worn and needing cleaning and updating, but our room was nice.

There was nothing i dislike. Shower head could been better,hard to get the shower head to spray better than hard spray. And tv remote would not change channels, had to find button on bottom of tv to change channels.

Room wasn’t cleaned on time for check in. Room lights were broken. Hole in bedspread. Tv very old not up to date. Air conditioning wouldn’t cycle on and off. It was either full on or full off. When leaving my room in the hallway were employees smoking marijuana. Smoking filling walkway area. This was stinging my eyes and I wasn’t able to breathe thru Smokey hallway. There wasn’t any security to outside doors. I will never be coming to this place again and I will let others know how bad it was.

So when i booked the room i booked a kind size bed with smoking, it was just 2 adults that were staying. During check in we had a bit of trouble, they didnt have a room like i booked available due various reasons, ac problems, room hadnt been clean, ect. So they offered me a suite however that would have cost over an additional $100.00 in taxes, fees, and deposit, or they could put in a double queen bed room for no additional cost. I chose the ladder of the two options when got in the room we quickly realized the ac unit was working very effectively. We trued shutting it off and tried to open the window for a cool breeze, that when we noticed that there was no screen innthe window and there was dierct easy access to out side or into our room. We closed the window and turned on ac you unit and toughed out. There were 5 lights in the room including a reading lamp, the lamp and 2 of the other lights would not turn on.

The room we had was not good. The carpet was in bad need of replacing along with the stained bed sheets. Each bed had one pillow. The TV didn't work. They tried to fix it, but it still didn't come on. The light over the sink would turn on if you tapped it. We had good AC and hot water.

Everything was good I usually pay for Monday and Tuesday in one reservation and then extend my stay for Wednesday and Thursday nights. Unfortunately my check did not go into my account till 9:30pm but they didn’t run my card till the next morning and they took $20 out of my $50 deposit. On top of that the owner has kept my deposit for almost a month last month I did not complain about it. Figured the owner would understand my situation. The staff was great it’s just the owner that’s awful, even the staff said so. I will not use this hotel again.

Got about what we wxpected for the price. They were installing carpet so it looks like they were trying to spruce the place up. It needs a lot of work and some serious cleaning. The worker at the front desk was amazing! Brought us towels when we weren't given any and offered us tolietries. The place has potential!

The hotel’s getting some updates, so it was a bit shabby right now, but we’re excited to see how it turns out! We stay here pretty often when visiting our son’s school, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful—they really make the stay better!

Reserved a room for 3 nights. When I arrived they had no rooms. Said they had too many reservations for the weekend and no rooms were available to fulfill my reservation. No call to warn me and no effort to accommodate. Terrible experience.

Lori, Amanda & Cash were the best. Friendly, Accommodating, and Respectful During our stay, we witnessed the owner berate the staff and curse at a client. If it weren't for the staff, I would give this hotel no stars, and the Owner should know not to treat people that way!

Complete circus. Overbooked. Tried to move us to a town 30 min away with no notice. Then wouldn’t allow us to cancel. Will avoid Expedia at all costs in the future. Won’t pay one penny for this complete mess from Expedia and this hotel over the weekend. Disaster.

When I arrived at my hotel that had been reserved for months, I waited an hour and a half in the lobby because there was no staff in site when someone finally found a housekeeper on the second floor come to find out the front desk clerk was MIA the owner was called and showed up very angry And refused To give a discount of any kind, despite the fact that we had waited an hour and a half to be checked into our already reserved room. You was not clean even though it was nine in the evening at.

Over all good place to stay. Awesome staff. Would definitely stay again. Kelsey the desk clerk is super awesome very friendly.

The service took forever to get checked in even though i booked earlier then just arriving. I was charged by the 3rd party and the hotel, also was hit with a 100 cash deposit. Which 9.32 was returned. When entering the room we noticed there was no fitted aheet on the bed, no plug for the jacuzzi tub, as well as no remote for the tv, Had to wait over an hour for a remote to be brought to the room. Later we noticed trash in the drawers for our clothes, and while showing we noticed some stains all over the wash cloths.

Arrived at 3:00pm was told hotel overbooked no room available after being booked over 2 months in advance. Told, Expedia should have let us know. Got email from Expedia at 5 pm about overbooked room.

Nothing wrong with the place. Looked a little long in the tooth, but room was fine.

Easy on and off access from the highway and right across from Walmart. The facility needs updating and the furniture in the room was torn. The room over all was ok. Keep in mind for the price of the room you are getting what you are paying for too.

Great location away from town.Right off highway 54 Mexico Mo.Clean pool. Hotel is on the outskirts of town and surrounded by prairie and fields.Fresh air.

The staff was nice but the condition of the property was extremely poor. And seems as though whoever owns this hasn’t done any repairs/upgrades since it was built. Advertising is misleading as the pool is/has been broken, there “is no” complimentary breakfast and the carpet sticks to your shoes and the building stinks, … mostly of years and years of old cigarettes. I still cannot believe that Expedia supports businesses like this

They advertise a free continental breakfast and have absolutely nothing. When asked they were saying it was due to Covid (apparently they have not got the memo the pandemic ended). They advertise a pool and hot tub yet they claim it is closed due to repairs (A guy staying there told us he stays there often and it hasn’t been opened for months) The computer in the lobby doesn’t work and is covered in dust. Finally we stayed for three days…they NEVER cleaned the room and we had to beg for fresh towels. We might as well slept in the car at a truckstop.
