A smoker stayed in the room prior to my stay and it smelled horrible.When I brought it up to staff all I got was I am sorry. Also the floor was dirty and our room always felt damp. The breakfast was lack luster. Waffles offered but no plates. Pool was cold

My kids and i came to town and wanted to stay somewhere that had a swimming pool since its hot summer time. The pictures of the hotel show there is a pool yet when i get there to check in they say they no longer have a pool.

I paid twice because I booked Expedia and didn't get a email days before. On 10/31/25 I booked hotel.com for the room, so I paid twice. I'm 78 and upon arrival was told I paid twice. The room was on the 2nd floor but they have no elevator. I have asthma and couldn't use stairs with luggage. The clerk gave me a room 114 on main level, thankfully, but the bathroom sink was plugged and had hair it in. The desk clerk told me Expedia must be contacted as a third party, he could not issue a refund. I've tried to contact Expedia but no resolution so far

Our room had no cover on the bathroom light/fan and it was covered in cobwebs and what looked like spider eggs. The front desk man did come up and vacuum it when I asked and agreed it was “nasty”. The rest of the room was very clean. The pool area looked very run down, the bottom of the pool looked very dirty and one ladder was broken. Hot tub boarded over (but that could have been stated I didn’t read it). Very few available towels which were barely larger than a hand towel. The AC in our room worked great and the beds were comfortable. 3 tiny pillows per bed. The mirrors are situated so they look right into the toilet so be sure to close the door! Overall I thought it was dingy, but comfortable. I couldn’t get a room on the first floor for our bicycles as they needed to save them for people who were elderly or disabled as the hotel has no elevator. I carried the bikes up the stairs. Overall I’d probably choose another hotel if I returned to the area. But it was right next to the bike track course so that was convenient.

Didn't clean the room. I was told that you have to ASK to have your room cleaned and new towels each day. Ridiciulous!!! Over $100 per night and no service. On the flip side, the front desk people that I spoke with were very friendly and helpful.

Great staff. Maintenance and cleanliness were substandard. Linens and beds were clean, but the windows were dirty and the carpet was damp smelling. Pool was clean but bathroom and hallways had broken tiles. The excellent staff allows me to negate the maintenance issues and we will stay here again.

There is no carpeting in the rooms so the noise between connecting rooms is really loud. We woke up during the night thinking someone was in our room. It turned out it was just the people in the room next door talking. We could hear every word they were saying.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is showing lots of wear. Our room had a missing smoke alarm, the sink drained very slow, and the TV had a very poor image. The room rate was fair compared to the other local option, but the hotel definitely needs updating.

Condition and cleanliness of room was excellent. The window heating and air unit fan runs loud. Hotel was not full; we were placed in a room next to someone else. It had an adjoining door. Nice feature if you’re with the person in the next room. Not well insulated for noise though so the person in the next room watching family feud, 5am became our wake-up time too

I For the most part enjoyed the hotel. The room was clean, everything worked, solid shower pressure. The only negative and its a HUGE one is the mattress was hard as a rock. The staff was amazing, and I enjoyed the breakfast selection for what it was.

We arrived at the hotel to check in to find out we only had one room instead of two as my reservation clearly showed. After some back and forth he had one extra room, that he reluctantly reserved for us. He rudely explained it was the hotel’s fault that so many web site book with them. I asked if we could check in as we would be arriving very late. We didn’t need to go to the room. He said no. We left and when we returned , checked in and went to our room.We were asked to move to another room, because he needed to accommodate someone else. Then we found out the hotel was trying to charge my credit card 15,853.30 plus the cost of the 2 rooms. Then to end the stay the hairdryer was broken. We stay at that hotel once a year, but never again.

This is not a 5 star hotel but for the price it is an excellent value and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the beds were very comfortable. We picked this property to save money and got much more than we paid for. If we are in the area we will stay here again!

It was close to shopping and restaurants. The general area of River Falls is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was nice. But I noticed one of the beds was really squeaky when you sat on it, the conjoined room walls were kind of thin, and I saw a hole in the roof outside where birds were flying in and out of. Other then that it was pretty nice! I'm super laid back so these things didn"t really bother me. Also, the prices were nice.

I was very pleased during my stay. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and the room surpassed my expectations. It is too bad that Econo Lodge is situated away from the main road. New signage and better marketing/advertising would help tremendously. I will encourage family and friends to visit Econo Lodge.

Not a very good location. Our room was switched and the person behind the counter lied about room availability. The continental breakfast was a joke! However, the person in charge of breakfast area was reallly nice and tried to go and buy cups, etc. from a shop across the street.

The curtains are falling off the rail, found an old dry contact in my bed… gross. Toilet was so wobbly felt like it was gonna break. Hotel needs ALOT of TLC. Breakfast bar terrible - Juice machine broken - no juice available… using ripped up paper towel for napkins. Door to outside was broken and we were first room - anyone could have come in. Staff was friendly enough, but hotel itself not so great!

Continental breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal and assorted toast and hostess Donuts. Nothing to put on the toast, no butter, no jelly no nothing. Paint on walls were chipping. Was told they were remodling. No hot water in sinks and tv had lines thru it so you couldnt see the shows.
