I was shocked the last time I stayed at Grand Coloane. None of the facilities was in operation. Room service stopped at 23:00. Most public areas of the hotel had fallen into an absolute state of disrepair. At the time of booking there was no warning about any of this. I made management aware. They apologised and explained the hotel had been used as a quarantine facility until recently. I'm unsure why they'd think that's of any relevance to guests? They authorised an early check out without penalties but no further compensation was offered. My advice is stay away until they get their act together.

Great stay. Our kids absolutely loved it. Playroom was perfect for both our baby and 4-year old. Daily craft activities were also lovely for the older one. We found the restaurant food to be good and the pool was a perfect size and not too busy. It was great to have all the facilities on site.

A nice resort, close to the beach, and there is an excellent Portuguese restaurant close by (not part of the hotel). Spacious rooms with large balconies overlooking the beach, ocean or gardens. The property is a little run down but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great resort for families.

Do the breakfast, huge selection, many tastes catered for and was fresh, clean and delicious. There are so many little extras this hotel has that really elevated the stay. Such as the well equipped kids room, selection of games, kids activities, pool toys and floaties, obstacles over the pool, room size ++, daily water bottles left it in the room, bath sheets. We utilised taxi, local bus and shuttle bus, all were easy to use and the staff assisted wherever we needed, though really noone had much desire to leave the resort anyway. All staff were accommodating and friendly, without a doubt would happily return.

Hotel alejado del centro, pero tranquilo y fácil de llegar en taxi. Playa al lado. Piscina grande, con muchas tumbonas, tanto al sol como a la sombra. Y un horario amplio, de 7 a 22:00, lo cual se agradece después de un día de turisteo poder darte un bañito, ya que la temperatura acompaña. El personal muy atento y amable. Lovely and peaceful place for family outing! You should try the calm and fomfort arround with indoor and outdoor swimingpools. Kid's activities. The trainers are very helpful and kid-friendly. No hurry! Thats the beauty. Finally the foods, specially for long breakfast, many items even you don't need any formal lunch after it. We like it. Lastly, I should mention you may find some ants in the room, should be careful if you have kids with you, otherwise they are not harmful. I'll prefer to go again!

schöne Anlage und große 9.stöckige hotel. nur 5-10 Minuten entfernt vom City und luxuriösen Casino Areas. Sehr leckere indische Küche. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber in den 90er war es bestimmt mal 5 Sterne plus Ultra, heute Maximum nurnoch 4sterne. kein Kofferservice. Kein taxiservice. Keine Mitarbeiter am Pool. Pool überhaupt nicht sauber. Cocktails nicht wie auf den Photos. Man muss alles über einen Qr Code bestellen. Ältere Menschen haben Probleme gehabt. Was ganz schlimm war sind die Taxis. In Macau kriegst du kaum irgendwo sim Karten zu kaufen, alle Taxi Apps sind nur auf Chinesisch, teilweise mussten wir 45 Minuten vor dem Hotel warten damit irgendwer mit dem Taxi ankommt.

Hotel has a beautiful setting fronting ocean and backing against hills. However, it’s generally dated and needs refurbishing. Stair Carpets leading to indoor swimming pools actually have sand and dirt, and should be at least vacuum cleaned. Dirt on carpets were there for the 4 days of my stay and remained uncleaned. Transportation to Coloane central, Taipa and Macao proper is spotty and difficult to arrange especially in evenings.

The Grand Coloane is a great place to get away for a different e-work environment or family vacation. I highly recommend staying ocean side. Sitting on the balcony at night or early morning is quite relaxing. The staff are very helpful and kind.

A nice resort, close to the beach, and there is an excellent Portuguese restaurant close by (not part of the hotel). Spacious rooms with large balconies overlooking the beach, ocean or gardens. Hotel is located in a secluded area and very remote from the city center. We had to take taxi or hotel shuttle to get to the action. Also, hotel is very dated and old. TV did not work (had no signals) for more than a day. If you like having your own balcony to an ocean view, then consider this hotel. Otherwise I would recommend staying at one of the newer and more modern hotel on the Cotai strip due to the dated facility and remote location.

Had a fantastic 2 days stay with family at Grand Coloane Resort. Staff at the reception were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Restaurant staff provided great service and the meals were likely of high quality in breakfast & lunch. Staff near the pool & The Club were attentive and helpful. Concierge team was knowledgeable and provided useful recommendations and assistance, they also helped in finding taxi. Overall, a great place to stay in Macau, just 10 mins drive to Cotai strip.

11/28/24 to 12/1/24 While an older property, showing its age, it is well maintained. Most importantly, peaceful. The staff were wonderful and responsive. I would stay there again. Taxi service was prompt and the doorman was spectacular.

Some residents smoking on the NON-SMOKING floor. No response from the hotel. Why assign smoking resident to stay on NON-Smoking floor? Any why no response from the hotel to stop the fxxking smoking guys? An originally very good trip was destroyed by those irresponsible smokers and hotel staff.

因為疫情關係，Shuttle Bus於平日星期一至五暫停，所以以酒店偏僻程度來說，真心不太方便雖然酒店步行3分鐘出回馬路，有巴士15號可以搭乘出氹仔市中心近官也街附近，21A可以到澳門半島但需時比較長於威尼斯人、巴黎人酒店搭乘的士大約60-70澳門幣到達酒店如果需要由酒店搭乘的士，需由酒店前台員工幫忙致電預約，因酒店太偏僻關係，不會長期有的士等候但酒店環境的確舒服

The hotel locating at the outskirts of Macao with less light pollution is good for stargazing. I stayed at ocean view room with large balcony as all the other room type and the night sky was clear with starlight. One the other hand the hotel staff was sincere and helpful. The breakfast was good.
