Motel 6-Columbus, OH - OSU

Our stay was absolutely horrible, the microwave couldn't even be used due to looking like it was on fire at one point. There was hair in the shower and on the "clean" towels. I honestly want to get my money back; my pap is handicap and he put us on the 2nd floor, when I asked if there was another room available I was told no, no elevators.

the rooms are not clean at all. everything smells like it was washed in a dirty swimming pool. dirt hairballs and dust were everywhere in the room. we had a non smoking room and there were cigarette burns all over the side of the bathtub and toilet seat. the shower had scalding or ice cold water the pressure was horrible especially if you got it warm at all. the toilet flushed sometimes.. the walls are paper thin, the room next door had music blasting all night until i went to call the front desk and the rooms phone had no dial tone. so i picked it up to see if it was plugged it and there wasnt even a phone cord. not even just the music but when they were talking it sounded like they were sitting on the end of my bed. very weird place i dont know why but a cop sits in the parking lot of kohls right by the motel and watches the place all night. i will not be staying there again and i would not recommend. the staff was really nice but thats the only good thing i have to say.

The shower was inoperable -- NO WATER. The room also smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke. Either they had previous guests who smoked there, or all the smokers outside on the balcony and parking lot carried in the smell.

There was no hot water when I wanted to get a shower at 10pm after working a 12 hour shift and then driving for 3 hours. The curtain on the window didn't close all the way; I had to use a towel to try to cover up the rest of the window.

It was so loud, all night i kept hearing thumps and talking, checked out at 6 am when i couldnt sleep, there were random bikes and scooters laying on sidewalks and an area taped off from the concrete crumbling
