La Quinta by Wyndham Dublin - Pleasanton

This was a very quiet and comfortable place to stay close to major highways which made it a convenient location but far enough that there was no noise. I used the workout room which was nice and had towels and a tv along with weights, yoga mats, machines and free weights. I was very disappointed that the hot tub and outside pool heater weren’t working. I booked because I have a medical condition which necessitates aquatic exercise and the heat and jets of a hot tub relieve pain. If they aren’t available I would have liked it posted in the website so I could have considered this in my booking choice or received a discount. The breakfast room is really nice and the options were good although monotonous for an extended stay. I liked the yogurt dispenser and of course the waffle maker. Was pleased by the vegetarian options of a bean and cheese burrito and veggie sausage patties! Area was clean and always well stocked and there was a view of Mount Diablo in the distance. It the pool and hot tub are fixed I would definitely stay here again! It would have gotten five stars.

The outdoor pool is the size of a birdbath. I never saw anyone in it. The water in the shower took 30 mins to get hot. Friendly enough staff. The breakfast had no meat, just veggie sausage (yuck!). Thebplace doesn't seem well maintained

Very nicely redone large room and bathroom at excellent rate. Unusually large number of choices at their ovo-lacto vegetarian breakfast buffet. Unfortunately the choices for all 4 mornings were boringly identical. They need to rotate some choices. But it was both very good and refilled frequently, with enough seating and tables to meet the need, which is not often the case with smaller breakfast areas. Even the juices were a surprise with not just apple and orange, but also pineapple and even guava! Bravo for that delight. The scrambled eggs were fresh, light and fluffy. The vegetarian sausage patty was crisp, flavorful and hot. All in all this was a step up stay at an low to mid-range price, and conveniently located with good well-lit parking.Also right next to an IHOP.

Very friendly staff. Parking is free and all around the hotel. So you can park close to your room. On a busy street but surprisingly very quiet. Our room was on the back side away from the street. Bed and pillows were very comfy. I have no complaints and would stay here again. Very affordable too compared to other hotels in the area.

I drove 7 hours to Dublin only to find that the hot tub didn't work. I booked the hotel expecting a hot tub. This was the second hotel on this trip that had a non-functioning hot tub.If hotels.com lists a hot tub as an amenity, then I expect a hot tub to work. With my bad back, I need to relax in a hot tub after 7 hours of driving

Nice breakfast in the morning but work out room, pool and spa all in poor condition.

Laundry room should have coin chance machine. Staff very friendly and helpful!

We had specifically asked about the hot tub, because we were going down for a Major medical procedure, and we're looking to relax the night before. When we got there and checked in, they then informed us the hot tub wasn't working.

The room was good size. The gym had nice equipment and I liked how it provided cold water. The breakfast had many options including fresh fruit and juices!

Room smelled like mold - solution was to spray air freshener. No other rooms or changes or discount for the room. Fire alarm was hanging from the bathroom Breakfast area - hot (temperature)

Place was disgusting dirty. Head board is torn up. Black hairs were in bathtub. Carpet was stained down hallways. I was not even about to eat any of the breakfast. Service guy is rude and not friendly at all. NEVER AGAIN. Still a hour later have gotten no confirmation of check out. Will be filing fraud dispute for the outrageous deposit to be returned.

I’m going to start with what I didn’t like… long story short, our room reeked of dog pee. We checked into our room, put our stuff in the room and promptly left for dinner. When we returned… I had taken my shoes off and when I stepped in front of the refrigerator I thought maybe the refrigerator was leaking as I felt a wet spot with my bare feet.I touched the spot and yes, I smelled the spot and determined it was indeed dog pee. I went down to the front desk and told them what I had discovered and was told there were no other rooms available. Was also told a note would be left for the manager to contact me. Nobody contacted me so I went to the front desk on Saturday and was told the same thing, manager would contact me. Sunday, still no contact from manager. Was gone most of the day or I sat in the common area of the hotel to avoid being in my stinky room as I was starting to get a headache from the smell. Checked out Monday morning and nothing from manager still. I was staying at this hotel along with other parents/players what were in town for a basketball tournament and I will never stay at this hotel again and the other basketball parents will most likely never stay again as well.The hotel is pet friendly but they literally collected the fee for having pets stay in a room and didn’t clean the room for the next guest. I feel like I should have at the least received a comped room, but got nothing.

I’ve stayed at better places. I was a bit disappointed with this location. The water pressure, if you can call it pressure at all, was so incredibly weak. It took a good 10 minutes for my shower to get warm and then, in the morning, 5 minutes for the sink water to get warm. The pillows were so flat, I’m sure a team of paper would have been better. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Our room was fine, sufficient for our 2 adults and 3 kids. However, being in the ground floor, they have super bright LED spotlights aimed directly at the windows. We had a constant glow during the night, as if it were daylight outside. I like a dark room, but that was impossible with the "runway" lights right outside the windows. The staff was great, and the breakfast was satisfactory also. I would recommend this hotel, particularly if they can fix the issue with the spotlights.

Sound proofing has room to improve. I heard neighbor room noise and out side road noise at late night .

All the basics and clean. Room furniture was very aged and ripped or broken. Breakfast was basic, but good.

This is a great hotel with great exposure (parallel) stairway. Service was also good, the pillows were not great (very soft). The washroom needs better curtains to keep water out, and would have loved the ability to have a handheld shower head. Breakfast was top notch with everything being fresh. Appreciated the vegetarian options as well. Overall, it’s a great hotel.

Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was great. Only exceptions is that the WiFi was erratic and the lounge chair, or whatever it was, was extremely uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The manager there needs remedial training on how to interact with customers. He literally yelled at me on the phone because he thought I did not want to comply with the 25 day policy then decided to make it up to me once I made him understand that his employee was at fault by giving us 2 free nights and explaining that he has had customers who did not want to comply with the 25 day policy. That’s really no excuse for him to yell at customers whatsoever. I like the hotel immensely for proximity especially but because of him will NEVER stay there or encourage anyone else to stay there. It was plain harassment and he knows it.

The hotel’s location was convenient for the event, and the proximity to restaurants was a plus. However, I was disappointed with the late check-out process. Although I was provided with a link to request a late check-out, I was later asked to verify the link and whether I had paid for the option. I have no reason to be dishonest, and if late check-out wasn’t truly available, then why was the link sent in the first place? This lack of clarity and accountability was frustrating

Considering the budget friendly price and how attentive management was to any minor grips I had during my two weeks stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back next time I’m in town. The General manager, Ron deserves some big kudos for coming from his home to swap out my fridge. I discovered was not working after I returned from work. He even compensated me for the food that went bad in my fridge. My favorite thing about this hotel is there are little to no shenanigans going on in the hallways at night and take it from me, I stayed here for 14 nights.

Room was spacious and clean. With cable TV and WIFI. The free breakfast was ok but very limited choices of food. It could have been better if the Juice and Milk was in a temp maintained container such refrigerator or Ice. The front desk staff was not friendly, did not even smiled and get annoyed when I ask questions. I almost backed out. My family came from a long drive, I was wearing ordinary clothes and the way he answered my questions, he doubted if I can even afford the room. Guests should not be profiled but welcomed without discrimination.

Stayed 4 nights, housing keeping showed up on 2nd day when we were still in the room, asked them to come back in 1/2 hour but they said will come the next day but never showed up. we were out of towels and toilet paper, and garbage needs to be picked. told the front desk they left towels and toilet out side the room. had to take the garbage myself.

The hotel overall is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast also offers a lot of great options. However, we were disappointed with the front desk service during our check-in on October 18 around 1:00 PM. The lady at the front desk was not very welcoming and did not honor what another staff member had told us earlier that morning—that we could check in early without any additional fees. Additionally, the male staff member who assisted us around 4:00 PM rolled his eyes at my friend simply because he spoke fast and was misunderstood. The hotel itself is very nice, but the staff could greatly improve their customer service and professionalism to match the quality of the property.

Front desk woman was so rude.

Bed was very comfy and room was clean and quiet. Front desk staff were excellent. Helped us out with storing our bags. Only complaint was breakfast staff person wouldn’t let me get a cup of yogurt to go from machine, because I had missed breakfast time by 4 minutes (9:04AM). My husband mentioned it to the front desk and they personally helped him get some very easily.

Just an overnight stay from 7pm until 11 am the next day and during this time housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times. First time I have no idea why and the last two were to pretty much see if I checked out. They even opened the door. They should not be doing that before check out time in my opinion. While that made me very uncomfortable, all else was ok.

The service at this hotel is terrible. The staff is unfriendly, and the WiFi doesn’t work. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered. When I finally got through and reported the internet issue, the staff member simply said there was nothing they could do. They were unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, a horrible experience—I would not recommend this hotel.

GREAT SPOT TO STAY WHEN TRAVELING TO BAY AREA. AREA IS QUIET AND SAFE. LOTS OF RESTAURANTS AROUND. ROOM IS SPACIOUS AND CLEAN. SHORT DRIVE TO BART STATION. WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN.

I stayed at La Quinta once before and decided I would go back each time I am in the area. It is very well located for my needs, modern, and has everything I need. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The included breakfast is a cut above the usual. I am pleased to see the solar panels over the parking spaces. Dublin La Quinta is a winner!

Excellent excellent breakfast!!!! Good room and easy parking, but can’t check in 1 min earlier!! The only reason I might look elsewhere. Was willing to pay extra so I could chill my food In room fridge.

We didnt spend a lot of time at the actual hotel so not much to review but had no problems. The hotel offered more than higher priced hotels we recently stayed at in the same area. Better breakfast than higher priced hotels in the same area. Breakfast opened at 6 am even on the weekend which was appreciated.

Iiked the convenient location to IHop Nextdoor and easy access to the freeway. I liked it being quiet. The Breakfast was good but repetitive day to day. I did not like being given a room at the far end of the floor next to a stairway exit where the door slammed continually in the early morning hours. I did not like my being unable to communicate in English to some of the staff. But I would stay again as it was an upscale La Quinta by Wyndham Hotel.
