MainStay Suites Denver Tech Center

The hotel itself was very nice. One negative comment: I walked around outside at night. I heard a loud rustling sound coming from the dumpster. When I got a better view, I saw that it was teaming with rats and mice. Perhaps it is inevitable, but it was a bit disconcerting nonetheless.

Parking was very tight, be prepared for door dings. Not all doors work to get in worked, flickering outside lights. Too use a luggage cart you need to leave ID, they have had them stolen in the past, just says all you need to know about there clientele.

The rats running around the outside dumpster area were pretty nasty. The hallway carpets are badly in need of replacement or at the very least, cleaning.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times. It's in a convenient area but this time the room was too close to the front desk which was quite noisy at night. They also didn't have any ice, not in the freezer in the room (not even ice cube trays), nor an ice machine in the facility. This stay was quite a disappointment.

To be honest this is an average property. Some of the staff is nice but others really ruin it. We stayed for a while and may consider returning if needed. The doors are always broken. Cops are always there. It is a decent hotel that is reasonably clean. Advertises free breakfast but there is none. Just coffee at the front doors. Overall it is a better place to stay than other options.

I was amazed at the kitchen facilities in my room. I had never seen a full-size refrigerator and stove burners, in addition to the microwave and coffee maker, in a hotel room before. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Honestly for the price and the fact that they have a working laundry room, dishes and silverware available, and clean rooms it is a good deal! There are issues with entrance doors, I don't think any of the dishwashers work, and some staff is very... unhelpful. But overall it is fine.

The dining in the area is nice, rather clean hotel inside and outside. The staff is very friendly and personable. The hotel isn’t very secure doors that require the room key to open were able to just be pulled open, and it was very noisy, I could hear everything going on in the rooms on either side of me as well as the room above and the staff lounge across the hall, they had the TV blaring all night. The booking said that it had a continental breakfast included, it was a simple coffee bar with nothing to eat.

I was there because I was volunteering at the BMW Championship. Alfred is absolutely amazing and helpful. I stayed for 6 nights. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, TV, and desk and chair. TV with ample channel selection. Very clean bathroom with a shower that has great water pressure. Very comfortable bed.

this facility was terrible. The second I walked in I was hit with a foul odor, but because it was late and I was tired I checked in anyway upon entering my room the door did not close properly and cockroaches were everywhere. Because it was late I tried to suck it up but then immediately felt something bite me as soon as I laid down on the bed. I ended up walking out and sleeping in my car in a rest area

The rooms are smelly and filthy and cockroaches were crawling on us. The dishwasher had mold. Worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. We asked for a full refund and luckily they gave it to us.

I feel like I was deceived into staying here because the pictures on Expedia looked nice 😭 we flew from MN, our flight was delayed so we didn’t end up checking in until about midnight. They told me that our room was “flooded” no not flooded, they just gave it to another guest. So my husband and I had to sleep in two seperate rooms the first night. I got into my room, no pillows or blankets on the bed. Dirty bathroom, pubic hair in the sink, toilet was dirty. I could hardly sleep because I was so grossed out, spent the whole night looking at another place to stay but the property wouldn’t refund us. The next day we got the room I ACTUALLY PAID FOR. Which was at LEAST clean 😭 we ended up checking out early. I couldn’t take it any longer. Also, as soon as you walk into this hotel you are hit with this weird smell I cannot describe but it only gets worse when you get to a room. when we got home all of our clothes and belongings smelt SOOOOO BAD. Literally, worst place I have ever stayed.

Roaches, broken drawers, dirt walls, ghetto people, fire alarms at 1:30 in the morning, and tweakers threatening to cause harm around there do not stay here!

The toilet never stopped running. The coffee pot didn't work. The chair was very worn. The place was very noisy and reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. And there were cockroaches.

This place is a one-star, at best. The hallway carpets were filthy. The door to the room looks like it had been forced open and was difficult to open. The fridge was clean but smelled awful. The tile around the toilet was sunk in, looking like it could fall through the floor at any time. Unless youre desperate, I would avoid this place.

We book this for two nights. Great price so we weren’t expecting fancy and that’s okay. The hotel looked okay while walking to our room. But the room smelled so bad. We bought a freshener but it didn’t help at all. It smelled like feet and just musty. The room was clean but the smell was very over powering. Will not stay again because of this. I can handle some smell but this was potent. Staff was great and location was great.

Cockroaches everywhere inside the room, kitchen and bed

Terrible smell all around and bugs/roaches in the room. Old bathroom with dirty towels and the room itself was less maintened with dirty bed sheets and kitchen area.

Enjoyed having mini kitchen. I have a really hatd time trying to sleep with loud neighbors upstairs. Shower was fine, too.

huge room compared to other hotels, clean, large desk for work

Room was OK. Hotel was fairly well kept. Service was not great. Stayed on second floor, they could not get me on the third. Had many nights being awoken by someone up above walking around. Rooms were not at all soundproof. Would never stay there again and would not recommend it

Alfred was amazing and so welcoming. The A/C was fantastic. However, the bed/mattrass was so uncomfortable. I can sleep just about anywhere, but that mattress was not great. It was an inexpensive stay and really don't have huge expectations, but I would be reluctant to rebook due to the bed.

Overall it was a good stay! However there were dead insects in the kitchen and in the drawers and also cigarette butts on the floor. Also I had extended the room pretty early in the morning and they still came knocking asking if I was extending or leaving and it was just how loud they knocked that was bothersome it was very aggressive but like I said overall it wasn’t bad at all. The rooms are very nice and spacious! And the staff were very nice except for the lady that knocked obviously!

Solid option for the cheap price. But definitely loud and the AC did not work. But overall for $60 kinda what I expected. It was clean. Didn’t smell. Felt safe. But not fancy.

I checked out 10 minutes after checking in because the deadbolt in the room did not locked.

The room had old smells, an uncomfortable bed and had thin walls making it very loud. No coffee maker. I will not be staying again.

Found & killed 2 roaches in the bathroom; door to our room didn’t lock unless you lifted it up (I couldn’t do it so my husband had too every time we went in and out; loud neighbors in the hall late one night; people or party upstairs woke us up the last night we were there. I went to the front desk and asked for more towels because we were staying 3 days. The Manager asked me why I needed them and then realized we were staying the 3 days. I thought he was obnoxious questioning a guest.

They overbooked the hotel and decided to put me in a room with 2 double beds. I told them i didn't want double beds. They promised to move me when a queen becomes available. I waitef the entire stay for them to give me the room i paid for. I never got it. Then because i was booked through hotels.com they couldn't extend the reservation. They made me pack up and check out of the hotel room that i didnt want in the first place and drive around all day with all of my belongings, so they could check me into the room i was supposed to receive a week ago. All of this misery could've been avoided if the hotel staff kept their promises to get me moved to the room i booked in the first place. I asked for and was denied a refund by both the hotel and hotels.com. i wont be stay here again. EVER!

Staff was not very accommodating and had their system down part of the time.

When we went to check in we waited for about 15 minutes before anyone helped us. When someone finally showed up he was very nice but our room wasn’t ready and he asked us to come back in an hour. When we returned the police were there arresting someone 4 doors down from the room they put us in. Although awkward we at least felt safe because the police were taking care of things. We went to a retirement party and when we returned to our room 6 hours later there was water on the floor in the bathroom, someone had showered and used all the towels and there was a used condom on the floor with the empty box in the garbage can. They put us in another room but we weren’t able to sleep at all. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin. We could hear everything everyone said or did all night long. Worst hotel stay of my life.

I’ve been staying at MainStay Suites Denver Tech Center for a while, and the best part of my experience has been the staff—especially the night shift team. They are incredibly helpful, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable. The rooms are average, but for the price per night, it’s a great deal. The location is also a plus, being close to the RTD light rail, which makes getting around easy. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent service, this is a solid choice!

The room was clean and the staff responded to our every need quickly with.

We showed up at 2 seeing if maybe we could get a early check in. Understandably they said no, they had a busy night and were still cleaning and come back at 3. Understandable. We show up at 3. I told them I had a reservation, I ordered 2 rooms with 2 beds. The lady told me it would be 150$ and I said I was already charged and it was double that amount. The other gentleman said you don't need to charge her, we already did. I confirm it was 2 rooms. They said yes. Gave us 2 keys, we were thinking maybe it was a conjoined room. Nope. They gave me 1 room. So we walked back, asked where's the other room, I paid for? They re-ran my stuff, checked and finally gave me the room key to the second room. However, the room wasn't even done being cleaned, I had no pillow cases, the floor was still dirty and I had no Utensil or the kitchen stuff. The guy apologized and said it would be done by 4. I did get my pillow cases, but I got nothing else and the floor was still dirty. The room just looked ran down, like the mirror was falling off the door. It was not great. The other room was better, it was clean but ran down, the window didn't have a screen, I could have jumped out if I wanted to. It didn't have a coffee maker so we asked for one, thankfully a few hours later they brought us a new one, like still in the box. It was just so dirty. The second you step out of your room it smelled. The floors and walls were so dirty. Our second night walking to the room there was poop on the floor.

Overall the mainstay is nice. All the staff are very friendly and listen to your needs to accommodate you. Denzel that works at the front desk is probably the nicest person that I have met in a long time . He is full of positive energy and always smiling. He always has something nice to say .

I liked that it has a kitchen and it is very convenient to dinning and stores. It is very close to fiddlers green . Over all everything is awesome.

I never even checked in. The place was filthy inside and out with a horrible transient population outside. I have tried to contact them multiple times and they will not refund the money.

I love staying in the tech center area of Denver. Much cheaper than downtown and much more quiet. I highly enjoyed my one night stay here.

Good area

Everything was great about this property. Was in a great area by restaurants and places such as TopGolf.

Simple and good location

There was such a bad smell in this hotel that I couldn’t breathe and had to sleep with the window all the way open. Don’t know what it was but seemed like a mixture of chemical and smoke. Some of the lights in my room didn’t work and I found bugs in the bathroom. There was no breakfast offered even though it was mentioned on several websites. Stains all over the carpet.

Never anyone at the front desk, no breakfast like most hotels, fridge in room leaking water. When I first arrived for my 3pm check in, the room was not fully cleaned and ready yet.

It was fair to all right . They have coffee at the entrance. The vending machine wasn’t working for washing powder. Blow dryer wasn’t in room. .

Very simple. No breakfast

The hotel is old, sheets stained, outdated, exit door locks broken. Advertised breakfast. And not offered anymore.

We stayed here two to three years ago and booked it on Hotels.com. They had a nice free breakfast, quick service with any need. On our recent stay there was no longer a free breakfast. The maids would not give me a towel. They informed me I had to take dirty towels to front desk to get clean towels. Their excellent television programming changed to a cheap Dish Network plan with only a few channels. Lastly after staying there several days I called the front desk 5 or six times. They front desk never answered the phone even once. The owner(s) appear to be trying to save money anyway they can at the expense of the guests.
