Our stay at the castle was fantastic. Warm and friendly reception at check in, and very helpful staff. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed strolling the garden, playing tennis and swimming in the pool. Great location as it is a quiet and peaceful setting, yet an easy drive to Amboise and the castles. I highly recommend this chateau.

Beautiful château in a fantastic quiet setting. Able to accommodate parking my bicycle safely there. The room was well presented, tidy and well furnished. The lounge was great to sit and relax with a drink with drinks brought to your seat. Hot drinks also available. The breakfast was also very good with a good selection available of pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Freshly squeezed juice, excellent coffee.

We stayed for three glorious nights, using this chateau as a home base while we explored the other chateaus of the Loire valley. It was magical. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was beautiful. The grounds were amazing - acres and acres to explore. We didn't have time to swim, but the pool is beautiful - set back from the chateau and surrounded by grass, with a lovely little pool house for changing and lounging. Since we were out all every day, we didn't eat much at the chateau, but what we did was great. They had breakfast set up in various downstairs rooms, and dinner outside near the tomato garden. I would LOVE to stay here again if I ever get the chance.

A beautiful chateau with elegant rooms and a few endearing nooks and crannies to explore. The oak beams and creaks remind you the place is over 600 years old, but there is a pool and tennis court too. If you want an amazing experience and more space than Paris, rent a car and get to this chateau. You will be made welcome and will wish you booked for longer. We are sorry to leave and will be back.

Amazing property in beautiful grounds. Room was in need of some renovation. Stains on the carpet and walls and furniture was damaged and not what we expected for a superior room - it didn’t seem to match the room that was shown on the booking website but it was a property full of character and interest. The shower was lovely. Sadly we were informed by telephone just before we arrived that the restaurant was not going to be open. This was one of the main reasons for booking a hotel with a restaurant on site and we had to make do with a sandwich from a service station, which was not how we planned to spend the last night of our holiday. Also no kettle or facilities for making a hot drink in the room. No bar, although advertised, but we were told that the hotel staff could get us a drink if we requested one. There was not a menu for this and felt difficult. The staff were all friendly and cheerful, despite obviously having had a very busy weekend. We had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready, however we did enjoy looking round the shop and gardens. Would have preferred to have arrived and had a nice cup of coffee after a six hour drive. We also had to decide what our breakfast choice was going to be on arrival. At this point we had no idea what we might fancy and found breakfast underwhelming tbh. Felt this could have been an amazing stay but just lacked the finishing touches that we had experienced in the other hotels on our trip (in the same price range).

Diese Hotel ist sehr schön, aber in den Zimmer, könnte man mal den Boden neu machen. Zum Beispiel, der in die Jahre gekommenen Teppich raus und durch Laminat ersetzen, dann ein kleiner Kühlschrank wäre auch nicht schlecht. So könnte man der Standart noch etwas heben.

L'arrivée au chateau hôtel est grandiose. L'accueil est chaleureux et explicatif. L'hôtel est truffé d'antiquités ou autres objets lointains que lon peut prendre le temps de regarder. Son parc est immense et pourrait justifier en partie un sejour, probablement. Très bel hôtel et notre categorie chambre luxe offrait une vraie experience de séjour en château (espace, ameublement, décoration). Nous sommes restes deux nuits. Trois pièces dans notre chambre avec une salle de bain de bon confort. Le service se veut haut de gamme avec une belle vaisselle et des couverts en argent. Même au petit déjeuner. C'est agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est très correct mais si contrairement à nous, vous souhaitez un oeuf par exemple, vous devrez payer un supplément. Une option salée supplémentaire offerte serait un plus dans cette gamme d'hôtel. De même, on ne peut que déconseiller le repas du soir qui, a lexception de l'entrée a base des fameuses tomates du jardin du chateau, est très bas de gamme (bœuf roti sec, pale et sans sauce, gratin de courgettes sans goût, ile flottante industrielle). Ce n'est pas possible pour ce prix. Enfin, les chambres ne sont faites qu'à la demande. Nous ne le savions pas. Donc notre chambre n'a pas ete faite. C'est contestable dans cette categorie de chambre et d'hôtel. Mais il suffit de demander. Aussi, pourrait-il être agréables qu'il nous soit demander si tout se passe bien. Cela n'enlève rien à ce quicrestera une excellente expérience. Nous recommandons.

Site superbe, chambre spacieuse ( sans tv) grand lit très confortable Wifi pour iPhone compliquée Salle de bains spacieuse mais manque pare douche sur la baignoire ou au pire rideau ainsi qu’une accroche pour la pomme de douche pour éviter inondations ou etre accroupie inconfortable. Manque mouchoirs en papier…. Peu mieux faire Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur ni du lieux ni du prix. Jardins conservatoires tomates et Dalhia superbes.

Sicuramente la soluzione ideale per vivere l’atmosfera della Valle della Loira. Castello bellissimo e con una storia tutta da conoscere, giardino curato e ricco di opzioni di visita (shop, orto, percorsi in bici e a piedi). La nostra camera, semplice ma confortevole. Colazione piacevole e con prodotti freschi e locali. Consiglio: una maggior accuratezza nella pulizia delle camere.
Sicuramente la soluzione ideale per vivere l’atmosfera della Valle della Loira. Castello bellissimo e con una storia tutta da conoscere, giardino curato e ricco di opzioni di visita (shop, orto, percorsi in bici e a piedi). La nostra camera, semplice ma confortevole. We enjoyed our two night stay at Château de la Bourdaisière. It was our first time staying in a chateau, and we found the experience to be memorable. The cheateau grounds are beautiful, the room we had was spacious (with a large bathroom that had both a shower and tub), and the staff was very welcoming. Both the interior and exteriors were clean. We dined wine the hotel twice — once for breakfast and once for dinner. The breakfast was continental style. We enjoyed it. The dinner was underwhelming (maybe it was just that particular night, since they rotate the menu). I would plan on eating out in Amboise or Tours, which are a short drive away. Overall, I would recommend the chateau for other guests, and I would be happy to stay again.

We were so excited to stay here for our time in Loire valley to drive around and tour castles. It was neat to stay on the grounds of one of these chateaus and it was a good location for that! Unfortunately, it’s a bit outdated as far as amenities (which, you might expect for a building this old)—no AC, rickety stairs, and hard to navigate with a suitcase. We slept with the windows open since we were there during a heatwave and because there were no window screens, ended up with bug bites. We had dinner on site; service was friendly but food was plain for the price. Left early to catch a train in the morning and got sprayed by the sprinklers as soon as we stepped out the door, the final straw after navigating the dark hallways and tripping down some stairs in an unlit hallway. Overall, would mayyybe stay here again if we came in fall or spring when weather is more temperate, but would plan to eat elsewhere and bring my husband to take the luggage up :)

Great stay - fancy but warm and easy going too! The paths and gardens were a joy to experience! The dinner was wonderful! The breakfast I would consider a little “light” but service GREAT. Lucas was excellent and fun. Our room was spacious, lovely, and quiet! Internet was not the best but then doing without it was good too! Great find, great stay!

Atmospheric Chateau but in need of a little upgrading. Staff were great and very helpful. Grounds were excellent to walk round. Breakfast was quite reasonable but dinner was poor value. Definitely plan on eating out. Rooms were huge but our bathroom had only a bath with no shower which given how big it was seemed a little strange. The Chateau is dog friendly which we appreciate and overall we enjoyed our stay

The room was distant from our car/main building so luggage had to be hauled up some wooden stairs and along several corridors. At night these corridors were badly lit making the journey to our room hazardous. Wi-Fi was very poor and intermittent and really only worked in reception. Breakfast was very poor value for the money and the service was indifferent. There was a distinct difference between rooms in the hotel and the rooms in the annex which were dark with poor lighting. We could certainly not recommend these rooms.

Amazing property in beautiful grounds. Room was in need of some renovation. Stains on the carpet and walls and furniture was damaged and not what we expected for a superior room - it didn’t seem to match the room that was shown on the booking website but it was a property full of character and interest. The shower was lovely. Sadly we were informed by telephone just before we arrived that the restaurant was not going to be open. This was one of the main reasons for booking a hotel with a restaurant on site and we had to make do with a sandwich from a service station, which was not how we planned to spend the last night of our holiday. Also no kettle or facilities for making a hot drink in the room. No bar, although advertised, but we were told that the hotel staff could get us a drink if we requested one. There was not a menu for this and felt difficult. The staff were all friendly and cheerful, despite obviously having had a very busy weekend. We had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready, however we did enjoy looking round the shop and gardens. Would have preferred to have arrived and had a nice cup of coffee after a six hour drive. We also had to decide what our breakfast choice was going to be on arrival. At this point we had no idea what we might fancy and found breakfast underwhelming tbh. Felt this could have been an amazing stay but just lacked the finishing touches that we had experienced in the other hotels on our trip (in the same price range).

L endroit est magnifique. Park a voir absoluement service impeccable au niveau de l hôtellerie. Petit déjeuner extra. Mais….le dîner certes très original en extérieur au bout du jardin de tomates fût plus que moyen. Repas simple, bon en qualité mais service déplorable avec un serveur, le pauvre, totalement dépassé par les évènements et sans aucune formation de toute évidence. Au grand dam de la charmante personne responsable en cuisine et elle tres efficace et essayant de rattraper les erreurs du serveur. Donc hôtel magnifique , super! A renouveler. ! Mais dîner déconseillé…..

The chateau was beautiful. And the grounds are beatiful. We had tequested the lovely luxury room photographed in the listing and even after a second email to reconfirm our request, we did not receive the room we requested. It would have been appreciated to have received communication from the chateau that they were not able to accommodate our request. On a different note, we felt the breakfast did not meet the level of excellence that would be expected from a hotel of this level and there was an additional charge for it. We were asked what we wanted the night before and our eggs were not delivered, our coffee, came late and was cold, our suggestion would be to offer a buffet with better choices appropriate to the level of service of a 4 star accommodation. We cancelled our breakfast for the last two days of our stay as we were so dissappointed in the choices and quality on our first morning. This is a lovely location that needs to improve their breakfast service.

Our stay at the castle was fantastic. Warm and friendly reception at check in, and very helpful staff. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed strolling the garden, playing tennis and swimming in the pool. Great location as it is a quiet and peaceful setting, yet an easy drive to Amboise and the castles. I highly recommend this chateau.

We were so excited to stay here for our time in Loire valley to drive around and tour castles. It was neat to stay on the grounds of one of these chateaus and it was a good location for that! Unfortunately, it’s a bit outdated as far as amenities (which, you might expect for a building this old)—no AC, rickety stairs, and hard to navigate with a suitcase. We slept with the windows open since we were there during a heatwave and because there were no window screens, ended up with bug bites. We had dinner on site; service was friendly but food was plain for the price. Left early to catch a train in the morning and got sprayed by the sprinklers as soon as we stepped out the door, the final straw after navigating the dark hallways and tripping down some stairs in an unlit hallway. Overall, would mayyybe stay here again if we came in fall or spring when weather is more temperate, but would plan to eat elsewhere and bring my husband to take the luggage up :)

Beautiful château in a fantastic quiet setting. Able to accommodate parking my bicycle safely there. The room was well presented, tidy and well furnished. The lounge was great to sit and relax with a drink with drinks brought to your seat. Hot drinks also available. The breakfast was also very good with a good selection available of pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Freshly squeezed juice, excellent coffee.

We stayed for three glorious nights, using this chateau as a home base while we explored the other chateaus of the Loire valley. It was magical. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was beautiful. The grounds were amazing - acres and acres to explore. We didn't have time to swim, but the pool is beautiful - set back from the chateau and surrounded by grass, with a lovely little pool house for changing and lounging. Since we were out all every day, we didn't eat much at the chateau, but what we did was great. They had breakfast set up in various downstairs rooms, and dinner outside near the tomato garden. I would LOVE to stay here again if I ever get the chance.

This was an amazing experience for my family. The chateau is on a large lot with wooded area vegetable gardens and surrounding gardens as well. It’s an authentic experience. Everyone at the chateau was very accommodating and incredibly helpful. We visited Leonardo da Vinci house near by and other castles. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return to the wonderful place.

Chateau is lovely, grounds are splendid, beautifully restored and kept. staff are kind and helpful. Do not eat here the food is terrible. Dinner was horrendous and certainly not worth the money, everything else was fine, a terrible shame!

We cancelled our breakfast for the last two days of our stay as we were so dissappointed in the choices and quality on our first morning. This is a lovely location that needs to improve their breakfast service.

We stayed for three glorious nights, using this chateau as a home base while we explored the other chateaus of the Loire valley. It was magical. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was beautiful. The grounds were amazing - acres and acres to explore. We didn't have time to swim, but the pool is beautiful - set back from the chateau and surrounded by grass, with a lovely little pool house for changing and lounging. Since we were out all every day, we didn't eat much at the chateau, but what we did was great. They had breakfast set up in various downstairs rooms, and dinner outside near the tomato garden. I would LOVE to stay here again if I ever get the chance.

Stop looking - stay here! The staff was kind and helpful and the property and chateau are gorgeous. One of the favorite places we've ever stayed. Take advantage of a wonderful dinner there or they also have good recommendations for local places to dine and visit. Highly, highly recommended.

The room was distant from our car/main building so luggage had to be hauled up some wooden stairs and along several corridors. At night these corridors were badly lit making the journey to our room hazardous. Wi-Fi was very poor and intermittent and really only worked in reception. Breakfast was very poor value for the money and the service was indifferent. There was a distinct difference between rooms in the hotel and the rooms in the annex which were dark with poor lighting. We could certainly not recommend these rooms.

Amazing property in beautiful grounds. Room was in need of some renovation. Stains on the carpet and walls and furniture was damaged and not what we expected for a superior room - it didn’t seem to match the room that was shown on the booking website but it was a property full of character and interest. The shower was lovely. Sadly we were informed by telephone just before we arrived that the restaurant was not going to be open. This was one of the main reasons for booking a hotel with a restaurant on site and we had to make do with a sandwich from a service station, which was not how we planned to spend the last night of our holiday. Also no kettle or facilities for making a hot drink in the room. No bar, although advertised, but we were told that the hotel staff could get us a drink if we requested one. There was not a menu for this and felt difficult. The staff were all friendly and cheerful, despite obviously having had a very busy weekend. We had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready, however we did enjoy looking round the shop and gardens. Would have preferred to have arrived and had a nice cup of coffee after a six hour drive. We also had to decide what our breakfast choice was going to be on arrival. At this point we had no idea what we might fancy and found breakfast underwhelming tbh. Felt this could have been an amazing stay but just lacked the finishing touches that we had experienced in the other hotels on our trip (in the same price range).

A real chateau. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Gorgeous lounge plus a big wooded area for walks. They also have a pool but I didn’t use it. No fridge or safe in the room. Not air conditioned but they provide a fan. Full of history with medieval ruins and 18th century manor house. Great place but I wouldn’t stay in summer because of the lack of air conditioning.

It was an honor to stay in this beautiful castle in France. Pulling up to the entrance felt like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. It was a dream come true to sleep in our beautiful bedroom and to wake up in this gorgeous castle. The grounds were also beautifully maintained and forest was peaceful.

The hotel was nice, the room too, the only thing that they can improve is the breakfast, they have just one person attending, so the coffee and chocolate was cold. The lady was nice but she was alone doing everything.
