Super 8 by Wyndham Clinton

I use a walker so motel stays can be challenging. A lot of Super 8 properties I encounter are a "split level" design so I either have to navigate a half-flight of stairs up or down to get to my room. The Clinton property has a ramp from the lobby to the bottom floor which is a great convenience for me. I have stayed at other Super 8 properties with similar conveniences (one even had an electric lift) but not all have them. I am a Wyndam Rewards card holder and like to use Wyndam properties when possible. I usually book through a third party and tend to shy away from Super 8 if I don't know that such conveniences are present. If you could make some type of notation as to the presence of such features on your online booking ads, perhaps more like me may find them helpful. P.S.: I forgot to apply the points from this Wyndam stay to my card.

Was nice, needs minor maintenance and need safety locks (chain lock inside rooms). Entrance doors need to be locked for safety.

The breakfast was limited and the property was in poor shape. I never did see a spa. The upkeep of the property was neglected. The shower rod was ready to fall off the wall. The toilet seat was off center. Just lack of upkeep on the Super 8 property. Will not stay at this location again.

Dirtyness and doors to outside don’t close and lock

Lady at counter hardly spoke english. She had a gentleman tell us directions to get somewhere. We were told back door was best to bring our stuff in. We carried it over there only finding door locked. Had to go back to front to enter. Not handicapped accessible for those needing it. Bad paint job in room. Sheets wouldnt stay on bed. We were not told location of things like ice machine in building!! Smelled smoke in hall near our room. Would not credit us for second night even though we checked out affter first night!

Upon arrival, I noticed the outside of the hotel was very unkept, washer or dryer, lawnmower and other items right outside the main door. I also noticed a lot of construction items wrapped up and piled near the steps. I had to dial 0 on the phone to ring the business phone. No one came after I dialed the first time and let it ring several times. The second time I dialed, it rang several times so I hung up again. I was getting ready to leave when the night manager, who had Patel in his name according to the wall plaque, came up the steps finally. He was not dressed in official uniform and looked like I woke him up. Due to the way the place looked I asked to look at the room first. He complied; I asked my husband to come look as well. He was upset by the items that I already saw. We did not like the loudness by a man 2 doors down, the 2 pairs of work boots in the hallway. The place was dirty and the lock on the door wasn't properly working. We felt that the Super8 was dirty, unkept, unsafe for our children and us to stay there. We would like a full refund for what we were charged because we never stayed there. It was gross, unclean, unsafe, not family friendly and not a place we would be able to get a good night sleep so we could continue with our travel.

For the price it was nice motel. No frills but that was okay for me. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly, age & ondition of the property could use some updating.

The evening front desk people did their best, yet it seemed they had only been recently hired. The onsite \'manager\' was rarely at the front desk during the day, and when he did show, he looked unkempt and acted like he\'d just woke up. Our room (108): BATHROOM - loose shower curtain bar; leaky shower head; cheap shower curtain let water through onto floor; door jamb dirty, finger prints on door; floor tile trim ungrouted, leaving gaps for air/whatever else is between floors access; commode lid did not fit the toilet seat. The in-room amenities were adequate, yet our sheets were not changed during our stay. I understand much of this motel\'s business is from workers. However, they aren\'t the only guests who drink coffee, which was advertised in writing "Fresh coffee 24/7". Yes, I\'m picky and notice such things, for as a young man I did Red Roof Inns night audit. We were required to act and dress professionally, even at night, since guests can show up at any time. What I listed may seem like little things, yet it\'s the little things that count, and overlooking very many little things is what costs you business - and business is what keeps the doors open and lights on. Because of this single poor showing, we will not use any Super 8 by Wynham again. By the way, it is wrong to expect a single housekeeper to keep three floors clean. I thanked the one we found at work the day we checked out; she deserves a raise, though I doubt she\'ll ever get one.

Not a very good selection for breakfast. Lobby always smelled like someone was cooking

Our air conditioner didn't run too well in room. Clean and affordable great continental breakfast. Staff was very friendly and it was quiet. Nice well lit lot. Nice updates.

The staff was friendly and helpful.They have replaced the hall carpet, put laminate flooring in the rooms and replaced the window treatment. The bed was very comfortable. Everthing was clean. They provide a nice breakfast.We will definitely be staying here again.

The dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in. Floor had not been cleaned since the invention of the mop. Facet dripped like an old man with a bad prostate. Tub was as filthy as the font of my car after hitting a swarm of cicadas. Do not stay here. You have been warned.

Nice Stay! Check in went easy. Room was clean

Dirty room with sticky floors, visibly stained bedsheets, and wouldn't have used the shower if I stayed. Staff member wearing flip flops sitting in the lobby couch picking at his bare feet. I will never stay at any Motel 8 EVER.

When we arrived the room floor and all bed sheets were full of dog hair.

When I walked in had a bad musty smell.

Bugs everywhere, checked out 10 minutes after I checked in.

Mold in bathroom. Ceiling in bathroom falling apart from moisture and condensation. The tiles were also falling off the wall in the bathroom. The front desk service when checking in was so monotoned and mute. Had absolutely no customer service or care to interact. For breakfast the lady at the counter continued to stare at us while eating and kept coming out to check the food and asked us if we were done, and then started cleaning up the breakfast before 10am. She was very rude. She would stand over us, and then I told her we weren’t done eating and she asked me 3 times what am I eating so she could clean up.

The property was not what was shown on Travelocity. It was very old and worn down and the room was very dirty on the walls, floors and AC unit. The sheets had stains on them, a towel had what appeared to be dried blood, and another towel had multiple holes in it. There were people hanging around in the parking lot for hours and then at 2:30 am my kids and I were awaken to a very strong smell of marijuana in the hallway coming in under our door. The AC unit kept shutting off every hour or so. I haven't experienced such a place in a very long time.

Booked a two queen bed room, upon arrival only had a kind bed for 4 people, said there were none available but then said we could have a second king room for double the price that I paid originally, bathroom was so dirty we didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower

Nothing special about it. No cable for tv. Had tv apps can use if had screaming accounts

Needs to be updated & painted. Hair dryer was smoking when you'd turn it on.

I didn’t like how my room smelled like feet or how the shower curtain smelled like mildew. However, the staff was nice and the breakfast was ok.

I didn't like that there was no coffee pot in the room. I didnt like when you turn the light on in the bathroom the loud fan came on too. I didn't like that the heater was loud and kept turning off and on. I did like the floors.. no carpet. I liked that it was clean

Bathroom in serious need of an update. Exterior room doors need freshening. Mattress was very stiff. Recent furniture and flooring upgrade is nice. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Not close to Tailgate N Tallboys venue. Ubers are not aplenty but that was expected.

There were a lot of replacement beds frames in the hallway. Not a big problem, but a bit annoying. The clerk could hardly speaks even a bit of english.

The stay was good the front desk staff was really nice and was accommodating when I needed to switch rooms the hotel was close to a lot of places like Walmart and Marshall which was great

The improvement at this Property has been amazing! The room(s) were very clean, and well maintained. It smelled very fresh walking into. The front desk staff was very nice and professional.

There were only a handful of guests staying here and a legit crackhead was put in the next room on my last night of a 3 night stay. After a few hours of yelling and door slamming and 3 calls to the front desk from my cellphone (room phone had no cord) the loud neighbors were evicted. I asked the manager for a refund of my pet fee ($60 for 2 dogs / 3 nights) and they refused. The owner told me over the phone I should have asked for a new room. I don't think asking for a refund of the pet fee was too much considering I got zero sleep my last night. Its a budget hotel, I get it, but with only a few cars in the parking lot, dont put the crackheads next to another guest's room.

First off the room smelled of cigarette. Then in the morning I could not take a shiwer because there was no water pressure and the water came out black. For breakfast oall they had was cold cereal. That was thre 2nd worst Super 8 I have ever st as yed b at.
