Quality Inn Frontier at US Hwy 30

Place needs a total update. Dirty common areas. Dirty, worn carpet throughout. Bed and were ok.

The room was dirty so I asked for another room. That one was cleaner but not great. If I wasn’t so tired I would have left and went elsewhere. This is the first time I experienced this.

It was as good as it really gets for a 2 star and for under $100 when I stayed the 1 night.

There was mold, rust, nothing was clean at all. Sheets had stains. The sink moved and was dirty. We requested to move due to these issues and were accomodated but found the same maybe slightly cleaner. This made me question why we got a dirtier one first. Seems the owning family lives and works there so I'm sure the only decent rooms are theirs. Breakfast was not worth even offering and not refilled so if you dont come right away you will not get what little they do offer. Waffle maker broken. They're currently under some sort of renovation. I truly considered leaving and even calling the health dept with the amount of mold present but as a non resident travelling with our child for my husbands job it was inconvenient to do any of that. In VA quality inns are NOTHING like this so maybe the area orrrr it was trash when they bought it but WOW. Definitely got what we paid for but had already drove 15+ hours and genuinely just did not feel like switching hotels but id advise avoiding this location unless you absolutely have no other choice or the renovations are done. We cleaned both rooms pictures are shown even the rolling chair at the desk made the wash cloth brown we had to use all the towels they gave in the room to clean it well enough.
