Generally happy with our stay. Breakfast was nice. We wanted to get an extra pillow but the front desk told us this was not possible but we could ask in the morning. Thankfully, they provided the pillow the next day. The shower was strange in that there seemed to be no way to hook the shower head on the wall so you had to just hold it in your hand. I would probably stay here again.

We booked a room for 4 people (1 double bed and 2 twin beds). When we arrived at around 5:30 PM, we were given a room with only two single beds. After showing our reservation again, the receptionist admitted there was no four-person room available that night but assured us we would receive two separate rooms and move to the correct room the next day. Two of us then left for a concert, while the other two members of our group, whose flight had been delayed, arrived later. Despite one of the rooms already being assigned to us, they were told there was no room available because the hotel was fully booked and they would have to return the next day. We had to leave the concert and pay for an expensive Uber back to the hotel to resolve the situation. The night receptionist refused to discuss the issue and connected us by phone with the previous receptionist, who claimed our reservation had been cancelled. This was untrue—we never received any cancellation email, and the reservation remained active in the Hotels.com app. Eventually, after further discussions, the hotel provided the two rooms as originally promised. As someone who works in the hotel industry myself, I found the handling of this situation completely unacceptable. Mistakes can happen, but guests should never be misled or left temporarily without accommodation in a foreign country. A simple apology and taking responsibility would have been far more professional than claiming our reservation had been cancelled.
