The last time we were at this hotel the pool was nice and warm which was GREAT for my arthritis. My Wife and I spent one and a half hours in the pool. It was Great ! So on our next trip we booked this say hotel because of the wonderful pool ! But this time, the water was ICE COLD, which was the worst thing for my arthritis !!! Needless to say we were GREATLY disappointed and only spent a short time in the pool before we were covered with goose bumps, and COLD, and had to get out of the pool !!!

Overall the hotel was a great value, with clean rooms & nice breakfast buffet. The only thing missing at the buffet was fruit - there was no hand-held fruit or cut-up fruit. Lastly, the pool water was cold on the 2 nights that we stayed there. Apparently, they were having issues with the furnace.

Selected this hotel for its pool. Invited my grandchildren to meet and go for a swim The sign on door said closed for maintenance. No maintenance going on so I sakes the front desk When it would be open. “Closed Monday thru Friday Only opened in weekends”.

Very clean. Breakfast was good with various choices. Pool was nice but not heated which would have been nice but I guess boiler was broken but still lovely. Will definitely stay again

Difficult to call hotel directly. When their auto system picked up and sent me to voice mail menu....the line went dead. I tried calling for 3 days...over 25 calls. I also called from their main lobby with same results. No coffee available at night or early in the morning.. Hotel otherwise is very good. I will not be staying again as I leave early morning and there is no coffee available

I checked in and immediately went to the front desk because my room was wet and smelled like a musty basement. The lady at the front desk said they couldn’t place me in another room as they were full for the night. I tried to talk to the manager the next day about some sort of refund because the room really was disgusting. They told me to talk to Expedia since I purchased the room through a third party. Expedia contacted them for a refund and they denied it. Overall I’m just annoyed they couldn’t get me a suitable room and then denied a refund.

The stay was decent. Breakfast options available in the morning are great. The rooms are a little dated and could use some extra cleaning. Had a king room with a sofa with some questionable stains on it. There is a very nice paved walking trail a short drive away for a very pleasant walk through the woods. Grocery, convenience, and a few restaurants a short drive away as well.

Property was a little old and rundown. The panel on my door was coming off. It didn’t smell like they cleaned the room properly. Needs to be updated. Staff was pretty rude. Every time you ask them a question most hotels if they serve breakfast early at 6:30. You could probably grab something around 6:15. The guy was very rude and said you had to wait till 630 to get anything. They do what they call a refresh, which is basically make up your bed. That’s it. They don’t change your sheets. They did not take out the garbage out of my room and when asked, I found out that that is not an official Fairfield Marriott hotel it is privately owned and just keeping the name of Marriot. Marriot should put a stop to people using their franchise name and not having the quality of service that the Marriot is used to offering. Would not stay in this hotel again.

The staff was lovely, but our room was pretty rundown. Mold, unpainted spackle, and a old, discolored toilet in the bathroom, and banged up furniture throughout the hotel. Thin walls, too.

Overall our stay was pleasant and the kids enjoyed the fact that the pool was open until 11pm. The room was generally clean, but the condition needed some care. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and there were a few patches on the wall that needed to be repainted. The carpet did look stained and a bit old, and the sofa in the room appeared to have a variety of stains on it. The doorknob on the closet had a dark ring around it from people using it; cleaning would have helped that. The folks at the front desk were friendly enough, but there were two times where I stood there waiting for the individuals to stop texting on their phones before acknowledging me. We would probably choose another hotel next time based on the general condition of the room.

We did not know what to expect, as hotels very in service, even "brand name " hotels. But our stay was really a real great one. We were made to feel welcome, breakfast was better than expected, everything was clean and the Staff was attentive and cost is family friendly.

Definitely liked how quiet it was, and that there were microwaves in the rooms and free breakfast. The pool area was really hot. As well as in the rooms the blankets along the edges were ripped and stained so that was surprising and earwigs in the bathroom. The only way you could watch tv was through YouTube or signing into tour own netflix or paying to rent a movie not a fan of that.

Ok. So I have to say this hotel needs a renovation. Lobby is fine and breakfast area is fine. More offerings would be nice but breakfast was actually better than my last stay at this hotel. Bed is old, soft, dips, needs new mattress. Pulled too flat. Chair is old, dusty and uncomfortable. Needs Reno.

in a handicapped room, don't know why, bathroom sink light was a joke, dark, rust in tub, broken toilet seat and safety lock on door didn't fasten properly. 0 access to "business center" computer, didn't work the whole time i as there and 0 one cared. Wet oatmeal, eggs and bacon, rude male desk clerk, invisible front desk personnel. No extra blanket i asked for, asked for higher floor, no that didn't happen. lumpy bed, broken ice maker

I looked for an affordable place not too far from boston, needed it to be between Hartford and Boston so we could check in then get into town for a Red Sox game. This place fit the bill. It was easy to access, about 35 minutes or so from Boston with no traffic, an easy drive. We stayed two nights. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, there was a variation in menu items day to day, which is not always the case. They even had iced coffee available on the coffee bar. It may be a little far from the city if you are wanting to experience the city's nightlife or don't want to fight traffic going in early in the morning. But we were with our kids so we didn't go in early or stay in Boston late so the drive was fine.

We booked this a little last minute to stay overnight after a long international flight. The place was clean the majority of the staff were friendly. The free breakfast was a nice surprise. It wasn’t just cereal and coffee! Fantastic selection of breakfast options. The bed was comfortable and the place was pretty quiet. The only negative thing I have to say is parking. I literally got the ONLY parking spot left, and the hotel wasn’t full.

Stayed for 3 days to attend a wedding. The room was clean, but at check in on Friday I was told housekeeping would clean the room on Sunday. That did not happen and since I was out all day Sunday and didnt return until late that night, it was a disappointment to see it was not done. The free breakfast given as complimentary to booking in Marriott hotels was a disappointment because there was never enough food supplies to meet the number of people checked into the hotel. If you didnt make it to breakfast by 7 am dont look for anything besides a waffle at 9. No decent fruit, juices empty, no breakfast meat left and maybe some scrambled eggs looking not too desirable. Whatever happened to free coffee 24/7 in the lobby?? Did it cost that much to discontinue it, but hotel rates have increased dramatically.
