Everything about our stay at Mi Casa Del Mar was perfect. The penthouse is beautiful with lovely views. The entire complex is very quiet. If you have children, the pool is fantastic, but you cannot access the water from the front of the unit because of the surf and rocks, but there are beaches close within walking distance, or you can rent a bike for the week. Rosemary was very responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this property.
Everything about our stay at Mi Casa Del Mar was perfect. The penthouse is beautiful with lovely views. The entire complex is very quiet. If you have children, the pool is fantastic, but you cannot access the water from the front of the unit because of the surf and rocks, but there are beaches close within walking distance, or you can rent a bike for the week. Rosemary was very responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this property.

The property was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need, so many games and puzzles for our stormy days, a lovely pool for cooling off, the master bathroom is really spectacular looking out over the forrest, the housekeeper was delightful and it was great having the fridge stocked before arriving with the help of the owners, who were always quick to respond with any questions. The property is an easy walk to local restaurants either direction. In hindsight we wish we had hired a car, it was very hard negotiating a remotely fair taxi rate to take you anywhere and the golf carts were expensive to rent. You also can not park the golf cart anywhere without paying which was frustrating. We also were not prepared for all the tour guides swarming you as you walk from the house towards Turtle Bay, trying to sell you snorkeling tours and boat tours. It is crucial to know that you can just walk to the counter and buy a wrist band, or visit the beach bar for breakfast/lunch/a drink and not even have to buy the wrist band. We never had a bad meal, those sticky buns are the most delicious things ever! We did try and contact the property manager on several occasions, but never got a response, but the owners were very helpful. The sea grass is a terrible problem, we were prepared, but it definitely impacted our stay. Our fishing trip was amazing, and having it cooked up for us was so special. Great trip and fabulous property.

Our stay was absolutely beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice! We had 2 children (pre-teens) and six adults ranging from 30's to 60's. The condos location was absolutely perfect. We could walk to half moon bay and Akumal bay! We didnt need a rental car which was great. We did rent a golf cart which was handy for some of us who didn't want to walk everywhere. There were Aa variety of great restaurants and little markets in walking distance. The condo itself is so much prettier and bigger in person. Absolutely gorgeous!! Great pool, beautiful, clean property. The gardeners are amazing and Maria, the housekepper, is outstanding.The staff here are the friendliest and most accomidating people i've met! They really go above and beyond. Some of the residents here stay for a few months our of the year and they were so kind and helpful to us! The host was extremely responsive and accomidating to our needs.There is a guard on duty 24/7 and we felt so safe here! The town akumal was a perfect family destination. Best VRBO I've ever stayed in!

Maria kept everything nice and clean. The pool and air conditioning was great. There was no beach, just rocks. A little disappointed there was no hot tub. The king size bedroom down stairs leaked on the bed, when it rained really hard. Nice selection of games and a beautiful sunrise. The General store and the restaurants nearby were ridiculously overpriced.

Myself, husband, sister in law and six children stayed for a week in this beautiful spacious home! Location was perfect with easy access to restaurants and daily activities! The house was exactly as described and we had no issues all week long. Property grounds were so nice, security 24/7, we felt safe with all our children. Lots to do in the area. Pool and views were unforgettable!

Truly an amazing property with great service providers in an awesome location. Akumal is so special and the condos are close to the village making it easy to walk to whatever you need. The condo has aw inspiring views and is large and comfortable. The pool is perfect after a day of exploring. Rosemary gives great tips on the area and was responsive at all times. This is a great VRBO!

We loved our stay!The condo is very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and well supplied. The ocean views are beautiful. The pool is very pleasant as well. A great place to relax.The host Rosemary is great, provides timely responses, offers many recommendations, and even provided a high-chair and portacrib for the 9-month old baby who was with us.We highly recommend this place if you are planning to stay in Akumal.

From the moment we arrived at Mi Casa del Mar, we felt welcomed and cared for! We were greeted by Rolando who helped us with parking and showed us to our unit; and we were greeted by Maria who was finishing up the cleaning of the condo for our stay. Both were very warm, cheerful and helpful! Our week in Akumal was incredible! This was our first time to Akumal, and our stay at the condo only added to our incredible vacation experiences. You are walking distance to so much! Half Moon Bay, Akumal Bay, restaurants, shops, the Akumal Art Walk, and the town of Akumal. The condo was very comfortable, well stocked with everything you could need, and it felt like you were staying in a well-loved home. Great internet access too. Provided for us was everything from beach needs (snorkels, masks, beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen) to fun evening times (movies, games, books). A booklet of info left by Rosemary and John provided great tips for excursions to the ruins and cenotes, meals, shopping, etc. The decks for this condo are incredible and provided for daily star gazing, moon watching, sun bathing, taking of siestas, and simply enjoying the beautiful views and winds of the ocean. Beds were very comfortable, and air conditioning in each of the bedrooms was much appreciated! Fans in living room/dining area provided complete comfort. We have only positive comments to say about our vacation time in Mi Casa del Mar, and will definitely stay again when we are blessed with returning to the beautiful Riviera Maya.

Our family spent 7 nights here and the pictures do not do justice to this amazing property. Everything was perfect. Rosemary is such an amazing host and so easy to reach and communicate with. The property is well taken care of and the house cleaner Maria is the sweetest person. She works hard so do tip her well. The town is within walking distance to several cute shops and restaurants.

Our stay was wonderful. The home is spotless, and just like the pictures. Good supplies in the cupboard, fabulous view, close to shopping, beautiful beaches and good restaurants. Rosemary answered all of my questions and gave me good suggestions. One night it rained very hard and there was a leak in the roof over the bed in one of the rooms so better check if you encounter heavy rain! A quick bucket caught the water and it stopped as soon as the rain eased up. I would definitely stay again and was sad to leave. The place was comfortable and everything we could have hoped for.l

This condo is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. Wake up to the sunrise from your bed. Gorgeous views and incredible service. Communication with owners was so great. The condo its self was perfect. Excellent space, great views, relaxing. A great place to start and end your day or just spend all day relaxing. Our stay was wonderful. The home is spotless, and just like the pictures. Good supplies in the cupboard, fabulous view, close to shopping, beautiful beaches and good restaurants. Rosemary answered all of my questions and gave me good suggestions. One night it rained very hard and there was a leak in the roof over the bed in one of the rooms so better check if you encounter heavy rain! A quick bucket caught the water and it stopped as soon as the rain eased up. I would definitely stay again and was sad to leave. The place was comfortable and everything we could have hoped for.l

Loved our 2 weeks in Akumal. Lots of space in the property. Bedrooms were large and cool! No AC in other rooms, but the fans and ocean breezes helped keep it cool even though we were there in an unusually hot and humid spell (end of May, first of June). Gorgeous views. Close to many restaurants and activities.

From the moment we arrived at Mi Casa del Mar, we felt welcomed and cared for! We were greeted by Rolando who helped us with parking and showed us to our unit; and we were greeted by Maria who was finishing up the cleaning of the condo for our stay. Both were very warm, cheerful and helpful! Our week in Akumal was incredible! This was our first time to Akumal, and our stay at the condo only added to our incredible vacation experiences. You are walking distance to so much! Half Moon Bay, Akumal Bay, restaurants, shops, the Akumal Art Walk, and the town of Akumal. The condo was very comfortable, well stocked with everything you could need, and it felt like you were staying in a well-loved home. Great internet access too. Provided for us was everything from beach needs (snorkels, masks, beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen) to fun evening times (movies, games, books). A booklet of info left by Rosemary and John provided great tips for excursions to the ruins and cenotes, meals, shopping, etc. The decks for this condo are incredible and provided for daily star gazing, moon watching, sun bathing, taking of siestas, and simply enjoying the beautiful views and winds of the ocean. Beds were very comfortable, and air conditioning in each of the bedrooms was much appreciated! Fans in living room/dining area provided complete comfort. We have only positive comments to say about our vacation time in Mi Casa del Mar, and will definitely stay again when we are blessed with returning to the beautiful Riviera Maya.

Our stay was perfect. The property owner had set up a resource book and some extra supplies at the condo to help with activities. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The living quarters were fantastic! Thank you!

The property was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need, so many games and puzzles for our stormy days, a lovely pool for cooling off, the master bathroom is really spectacular looking out over the forrest, the housekeeper was delightful and it was great having the fridge stocked before arriving with the help of the owners, who were always quick to respond with any questions. The property is an easy walk to local restaurants either direction. In hindsight we wish we had hired a car, it was very hard negotiating a remotely fair taxi rate to take you anywhere and the golf carts were expensive to rent. You also can not park the golf cart anywhere without paying which was frustrating. We also were not prepared for all the tour guides swarming you as you walk from the house towards Turtle Bay, trying to sell you snorkeling tours and boat tours. It is crucial to know that you can just walk to the counter and buy a wrist band, or visit the beach bar for breakfast/lunch/a drink and not even have to buy the wrist band. We never had a bad meal, those sticky buns are the most delicious things ever! We did try and contact the property manager on several occasions, but never got a response, but the owners were very helpful. The sea grass is a terrible problem, we were prepared, but it definitely impacted our stay. Our fishing trip was amazing, and having it cooked up for us was so special. Great trip and fabulous property.

Our stay was absolutely beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice! We had 2 children (pre-teens) and six adults ranging from 30's to 60's. The condos location was absolutely perfect. We could walk to half moon bay and Akumal bay! We didnt need a rental car which was great. We did rent a golf cart which was handy for some of us who didn't want to walk everywhere. There were Aa variety of great restaurants and little markets in walking distance. The condo itself is so much prettier and bigger in person. Absolutely gorgeous!! Great pool, beautiful, clean property. The gardeners are amazing and Maria, the housekepper, is outstanding.The staff here are the friendliest and most accomidating people i've met! They really go above and beyond. Some of the residents here stay for a few months our of the year and they were so kind and helpful to us! The host was extremely responsive and accomidating to our needs.There is a guard on duty 24/7 and we felt so safe here! The town akumal was a perfect family destination. Best VRBO I've ever stayed in!

This is a WOW property! The layout of the condo is fabulous and the view from all outside decks are absolutely amazing. The condo is ideally located to walk into town, to Akumal Beach, to Half Moon Bay and the lagoon. Rosemary sent very helpful information before our visit that is very comprehensive and really helped us out. Maria is wonderful and kept us supplied with clean beach towels and drinking water. I really have to think about anything that wasn’t great and the only thing I can think of is the shower head in the master suite could be changed so the spray isn’t so strong - very minor. Highly recommend this piece of paradise.

Everything about our stay at Mi Casa Del Mar was perfect. The penthouse is beautiful with lovely views. The entire complex is very quiet. If you have children, the pool is fantastic, but you cannot access the water from the front of the unit because of the surf and rocks, but there are beaches close within walking distance, or you can rent a bike for the week. Rosemary was very responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this property.

Myself, husband, sister in law and six children stayed for a week in this beautiful spacious home! Location was perfect with easy access to restaurants and daily activities! The house was exactly as described and we had no issues all week long. Property grounds were so nice, security 24/7, we felt safe with all our children. Lots to do in the area. Pool and views were unforgettable!

I really have to think about anything that wasn’t great and the only thing I can think of is the shower head in the master suite could be changed so the spray isn’t so strong - very minor. Highly recommend this piece of paradise.
This is a WOW property! The layout of the condo is fabulous and the view from all outside decks are absolutely amazing. The condo is ideally located to walk into town, to Akumal Beach, to Half Moon Bay and the lagoon. From the moment we arrived at Mi Casa del Mar, we felt welcomed and cared for! We were greeted by Rolando who helped us with parking and showed us to our unit; and we were greeted by Maria who was finishing up the cleaning of the condo for our stay. Both were very warm, cheerful and helpful! Our week in Akumal was incredible! This was our first time to Akumal, and our stay at the condo only added to our incredible vacation experiences. You are walking distance to so much! Half Moon Bay, Akumal Bay, restaurants, shops, the Akumal Art Walk, and the town of Akumal. The condo was very comfortable, well stocked with everything you could need, and it felt like you were staying in a well-loved home. Great internet access too. Provided for us was everything from beach needs (snorkels, masks, beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen) to fun evening times (movies, games, books). A booklet of info left by Rosemary and John provided great tips for excursions to the ruins and cenotes, meals, shopping, etc. The decks for this condo are incredible and provided for daily star gazing, moon watching, sun bathing, taking of siestas, and simply enjoying the beautiful views and winds of the ocean. Beds were very comfortable, and air conditioning in each of the bedrooms was much appreciated! Fans in living room/dining area provided complete comfort. We have only positive comments to say about our vacation time in Mi Casa del Mar, and will definitely stay again when we are blessed with returning to the beautiful Riviera Maya.

The property was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need, so many games and puzzles for our stormy days, a lovely pool for cooling off, the master bathroom is really spectacular looking out over the forrest, the housekeeper was delightful and it was great having the fridge stocked before arriving with the help of the owners, who were always quick to respond with any questions. The property is an easy walk to local restaurants either direction. In hindsight we wish we had hired a car, it was very hard negotiating a remotely fair taxi rate to take you anywhere and the golf carts were expensive to rent. You also can not park the golf cart anywhere without paying which was frustrating. We also were not prepared for all the tour guides swarming you as you walk from the house towards Turtle Bay, trying to sell you snorkeling tours and boat tours. It is crucial to know that you can just walk to the counter and buy a wrist band, or visit the beach bar for breakfast/lunch/a drink and not even have to buy the wrist band. We never had a bad meal, those sticky buns are the most delicious things ever! We did try and contact the property manager on several occasions, but never got a response, but the owners were very helpful. The sea grass is a terrible problem, we were prepared, but it definitely impacted our stay. Our fishing trip was amazing, and having it cooked up for us was so special. Great trip and fabulous property.

Our family spent 7 nights here and the pictures do not do justice to this amazing property. Everything was perfect. Rosemary is such an amazing host and so easy to reach and communicate with. The property is well taken care of and the house cleaner Maria is the sweetest person. She works hard so do tip her well. The town is within walking distance to several cute shops and restaurants.

Really nice house in a nice area of Akumal. About 7-10 minute walk to beach. This house had everything you could want. Only complaint was the master on the top floor has an outdoor bathroom. It is neat but very warm in August and while the shower may not be visible to the road, it seems like it might, so we just did not use that. Lots of great places to eat nearby, small grocery near by, owners provide a ton of information about the area. We were disappointed by the bay snorkeling, if you don't want to buy a tour, your area of exploration is very limited. We loved the nearby cenotes of dos ojos and cenote azul.

Our stay was absolutely beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice! We had 2 children (pre-teens) and six adults ranging from 30's to 60's. The condos location was absolutely perfect. We could walk to half moon bay and Akumal bay! We didnt need a rental car which was great. We did rent a golf cart which was handy for some of us who didn't want to walk everywhere. There were Aa variety of great restaurants and little markets in walking distance. The condo itself is so much prettier and bigger in person. Absolutely gorgeous!! Great pool, beautiful, clean property. The gardeners are amazing and Maria, the housekepper, is outstanding.The staff here are the friendliest and most accomidating people i've met! They really go above and beyond. Some of the residents here stay for a few months our of the year and they were so kind and helpful to us! The host was extremely responsive and accomidating to our needs.There is a guard on duty 24/7 and we felt so safe here! The town akumal was a perfect family destination. Best VRBO I've ever stayed in!

Our stay was wonderful. The home is spotless, and just like the pictures. Good supplies in the cupboard, fabulous view, close to shopping, beautiful beaches and good restaurants. Rosemary answered all of my questions and gave me good suggestions. One night it rained very hard and there was a leak in the roof over the bed in one of the rooms so better check if you encounter heavy rain! A quick bucket caught the water and it stopped as soon as the rain eased up. I would definitely stay again and was sad to leave. The place was comfortable and everything we could have hoped for.l

Loved our 2 weeks in Akumal. Lots of space in the property. Bedrooms were large and cool! No AC in other rooms, but the fans and ocean breezes helped keep it cool even though we were there in an unusually hot and humid spell (end of May, first of June). Gorgeous views. Close to many restaurants and activities.

Myself, husband, sister in law and six children stayed for a week in this beautiful spacious home! Location was perfect with easy access to restaurants and daily activities! The house was exactly as described and we had no issues all week long. Property grounds were so nice, security 24/7, we felt safe with all our children. Lots to do in the area. Pool and views were unforgettable!

Beautiful Property. We chose a villa for 3 couples to stay in because we all loved to cook. We brought special seasonings, but unfortunately, the stove did not work. A hot plate was later brought up but very difficult to cook gourmet meals on a 2 burner portable cook top. So, we purchased additional food for the instapot, and that didn't work. It was Friday, so it took a few days to replace it. This was a major failure because we purchase all our food and it was wasted on nothing to properly cook on. We fed old burger to the racoons across the street. Maria, the maid was wonderful. We can not say enough. I hope she enjoyed everything we left behind. Oh, and the TV didn't work. It took another few days to replace it. Message to the owners: If you charge this amount for your unit, please make sure everything works.

WOW! Mi Casa Del Mar was AMAZING! We took our three adult kids and had an absolute fantastic time. We have been to Akumal several times in the past so we’re familiar with getting around. The host were fantastic with communication and I truly appreciated it! Stunning views, beautiful interior and very relaxing.

This home was a home away from home in it's comfort! The house flows nicely, views are unbelievable, it's really clean and the beds are comfy.Very communicative and helpful. Above and beyond!Walkable to both bays plus the lagoon and lots of shops and delicious food.You will want a car to go much father but it's not bad driving and there are so many things to see and experience is worth it.You can be close to so many exciting things but in a smaller less busy place.Would absolutely recommend you check out their home!And don't forget to walk 5 min away and snorkel with the turtles. Unforgettable!
