Quality Inn Bridgeport-Clarksburg

Room was very small. Beds were standard size not queen. Bathroom was VERY small, commode was very low to the floor. Pool is not in the motel, but in a private gym next door where they always had classes going on so you could only swim on one side. It is definitely an older motel.

Very good for price. Gym was excellent

This place is dirty. Mold in the bathroom, the entire hallway smells like cigarettes, busted walls and leaks. The ceiling was leaking in my room. When I called the front desk, they told me they'd tell the manager but did not offer to switch us rooms or do anything to fix it. They didn't have coffee and breakfast was not great. The pool is in a fitness center in the building over and not in the hotel.

Great gym & pool

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, however, the reason i booked the property was for a pool and there is no pool on the property. Very deceiving when you search for a pool and its not there.

The carpet in the hallway outside of Rm. 110 was flooded. At about 7:30pm, the power on this side of the town went down and there was COMPLETE darkness (with the exception of a hallway light) until 10:30pm...This hotel had no generators (although the Days Inn next door DID). The hotel did NOT have a gym... we were allowed to use the 24/7 gym nearby for a limited amount of time.

No pool on property. Clean but dated. Friendly service. Light breakfast. Price is right in good location

There was patches all over the walls, our room was very smelly. Also our room didn’t match anything or look the pictures online. No house keeping, and no pool liked advertised. Over all we will not recommend or stay again

The bathroom was tiny and very dated. Our chargers fit very loosely in the outlets and we woke to find nothing had charged. Breakfast area was small and a limited variety of options. The pool and fitness area are not on site, they are at a neighboring facility, so we had to walk outside in the middle of winter to get back to our hotel while wet. There is no elevator in this hotel. They requested a security deposit after my room was paid for, and said it would be returned upon checkout if I used cash, however, I had to remind them to give my deposit back. On the flip side, the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. It worked for a one-night stay, but wouldn't want to be here for an extended amount of time.

As soon as I turned on the light to my room I had to kill 3 cockroaches!!!

Staff was friendly at check in but our room was nothing like expected shown in pictures. Our room was on the first floor was very dirty all around white bed sheets,pillow cases, blankets and towels were stained covered. All around very dirty.In the bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall hanging by a thread of the screw, the shower was covered in black slimmy mold or whatever it was all around the door area the shower head so when first turned on the shower there was black stuff all over the floor from coming off the shower head.Carpet looks like it hadn’t been vaccumed. When we first walked into hotel after checking in and parking the walls were just plastered white squares all over as if they were fixing or going to paint just very odd and unclean. Parking out around back end of hotel was very dark , quality inn sign light was out and garbage all over in the grass area on the hill type area behind us very trashy looking. We probably wouldn’t have stayed but it was late check in online Off Expedia app and after my son’s wrestling tournament. just needed a place to shower and rest for a few hours. I guess with the price paid 66.00 we get what we paid for but also very false advertisement to have pictures of a clean hotel updated but very outdated and dirty. The breakfast area was very small and tight with just our three family members getting orange juiceand yogurt but it was the cleanest part of our stay. Checkout was not as nice as check in person

This location should not have a good rating, it’s misleading. Lots of trash around the parking lot and in the landscaping. The interior was disgusting. Patched, unpainted walls. Baseboards and stripping hanging off. The room was dirty. Remnants of shaved hair in the sink, stained sheets, smelled strongly of bleach. The mirrors were dirty. The vinyl flooring was sticky. I believe this was a motel that people lived in as well. Lots of men/boys hanging around outside smoking and carrying on. Just overall it was gross and not safe looking. I didn’t realize how dirty the interior was until I proceeded up the stairs to my room. The same with the parking lot and grounds until I was looking for a parking spot after checking in. I felt very uncomfortable staying there, but did because it was non refundable and there wasn’t another option. The night receptionist was not friendly and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The morning receptionist was friendly. I would never stay there again. There was nothing quality about it.

The phone was sticky and the bases of the nightstand lamps were sticky and dusty. The towel bar at the vanity was broken and the pieces were in the armoire. The plastic on the toilet seat was peeling. The furniture was oily and you could see your handprint on it. I took pictures to prove my statements. Do not recommend at all.

Room was very small, old. Window was plexiglass and could barely see out of it. Breakfast was not good. Simple, but the biscuits and gravy were awful. I will say the hotel was very quiet. The ac was good and quiet. The bed was decent. There was no one at the front desk when we wanted to check out, along with another customer so we just left the card at the desk and left. ( she could have been in the bathroom for all we know) it was fine for the money but i wouldnt stay again

This may have been the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room was disgusting and smelled terrible. The room did not have a TV. The shower was luke warm at best and was so dirty that I resorted to wear my flip flops in the shower. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Horrified. Horrible experience. The room was a mess, and I have photos to show it. The shower drain had sludge, the shower had mold everywhere, the toilet paper roll was practically empty and not replaced before our arrival, the chair had a stain, and to top it off in the morning we found DIRTY USED TISSUES shoved behind where my husbands head was. Absolutely appalled. One more thing - absolutely not sound proof what so ever. We heard what other people were doing in the room beside us last 2am.

Room was in pretty bad condition...stopper for sink sitting on counter. Desk chair and under desk dirty. Shower, especially the water on off valve disgusting. Fan light cover laying on towels shelf.

The room was good, mattress needed changing. And the toliet needs a changing. Way to low to the floor. Would I stay there again. Yes, the price was right. We are only sleeping there, no morning buffet. Sleep and drive. Also in a good area. It's just down the street from our favourite restaurant. And easy access to the 79.

Nice location. Bad check-in experience. Requires a $50.00 deposit for incidentals. It takes weeks to have the money returned to the card. The room was good, the bathroom was horrible. The shower door was falling off, and drywall screws all around the place holding the doors together

Parking far from the door. The toilet was leaking. The fridge door wouldn't stay all the way closed. Tiny bathroom/room.

Cordial staff and service!

This hotel provides service to primarily contracted workers. I would not deem it family friendly. The hallways smelled like comit the whole time we were there. Staff was not friendly or attentive, my husband was ignored when he walked up to check in amd had to speak up to be acknowledged by the girl sitting behind the desk.

Hotel charged deposit over the cost of stay so be prepared with cash or a card to pay more even if you prepaid.

At first our stay was pleasant, however that changed quickly. First I want to say DO NOT STAY HERE THERE ARE ROACHES!!!! I noticed the roaches the morning we were getting ready to check out, as I saw one crawling all over the bathroom floor. That roach then went and hid in the trim, but I then found a dead roach underneath the shower-mat. After being completely disgusted that we had already stayed in that room for the past four nights, at check out I went to address the problem to the workers, however they brushed me off and told me that the manager “ran to the store and would be back in a few minutes” which led to the manager never being able to reach out to me for a whole day, after I had even called back 4 times. I was also told by a front desk worker that the manager would decide if the problem with my stay was worth reaching back out to me. How ridiculous that any manager or worker would be okay with having their quests stay at a “clean” place that’s infested with roaches. Still with no word from the manager who apparently had just “run to the store” quickly, so I then reached out to corporate who is more than willing to help me, however we are both still waiting to hear back from the manager. Do not recommend staying here unless you want to share your room with roaches and deal with bad management who doesn’t care about their quests.

It smelled like puke and the smell never went away. It says all rooms are non smoking but it smelled like cigarettes badly in the halls and my mother is deathly Allergic to cigarette smoke so it bothered her! The man who works at the desk is rude, takes advantage of older people who can’t understand him. Claimed that he didn’t tell my mom it would be a cash only deposit and that she got it back when we checked out but that wasn’t at all how it happened! Over all very bad experience and would not recommend anyone staying there!

Everything was great for the price and good location to spend the night and take a break from driving!

The hotel is in desperate need of upgrades. The rooms were not clean. The tv looked like it had never been cleaned. In the morning tried to have a shower but no hot water at all! Went to the breakfast area and didn’t have anything because the person setting up the food was hacking and coughing all around the area. What a difference a year makes as we stayed there a year ago but have now marked it off list.

Staff wasnt very knowledgeable about the pool facility(which is in a completely different building), if you ise the pool facility take towels they wont supply any. room had 10lights in 1 small room( not including bathroom) had to unplug stuff(microwave, coffee maker, phone) to make room to be able to plug in cpap machine, and phone chargers, staff refused extra towels for the room. Asked staff upon check-in about breakfast her response was: "i dont work during them hours so i have no idea what its like, all i know is we dont cook so it cant be good food" breakfast consisted of hard to the touch(but very soft to eat) biscuits, cold sausage gravy(even tho its kept in a crockpot) make your own waffle, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal or toast. Coffee and orange juice.

Even though the property is a little dated on the outside, the rooms are up to date and clean. The beds and sheets are so comfy! The breakfast in the morning is also decent.

Our room was more than we expected for the price. The room was in fairly good condition as was the furniture and fixtures. It was clean and comfortable. The only disappointing factor was the breakfast setup and choices. Having stayed at various Quality Inns within West Virginia, my husband and I were expecting a full range. Sadly, this was not the case. The choices offered, were poor. Additionally, the front desk personnel were expected to oversee the breakfast area ensuring that it was fully stocked and clean… which it was not. To add to this, t ones were piled in the reception area for the duration of our stay.
