The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to Lyon’s Perrache train station. There are several good restaurants nearby, as this is the culinary capital. I enjoyed the traditional Lyonnaise bouchon Le Poelon D’Or. Be sure to reserve ahead.

Posizione eccellente in piena isola pedonale,comoda per visitare a piedi Lione. Fermata del metro di fronte all'hotel. Personale gentile. Sicuramente non è da classificare come un 4 stelle. La camera era molto piccola e così gli spazi comuni, sia la reception che la sala colazione. La colazione troppo cara rispetto a quanto offerto. Hotel was lovely and ideally located, right on the metro. Breakfast was over-priced so we only splurged once in our 3 nights. Many cafe's within stepping distance from the hotel, even in the rain. And believe me, there is rain! Limited parking available, although the public parking garage is close by and convenient. We only needed the car to attend a wedding, so really you wouldn't need a car at all to just explore the city, since the train system is so amazing. Rooms are small, but very comfortable - not much walking space around your bed if you have lots of luggage. Impossibly small safe, couldn't even hold a macbook. Shower is strong. Rooms are a bit noisy if you have a street-facing room. The front desk is very friendly and helpful for dinner suggestions. We had two really great dinners just blocks from the hotel: Le Poêlon d'Or was a 5* and Le Comptoir d'Ainay was a notch less, since it seemed pricey for no reason, but tasty. We did very well on our limited French. Very safe and lively location for a hotel.

The staff was very accommodating to our needs, easy to talk to and offers help willingly. The hotel is walkable to the Bellecour Plaza which is also close to the shopping district. There is a metro and a tourist office at the Bellecour Plaza. Also by the Bellecour Plaza is the Lyon City bus - hop on/off version. However, it is only one bus and the total full bus route to the tourist areas is two hours. one has to plan their day. The area around the hotel has a lot of dining options as well. The hotel offers an unlimited supply of drinking water by the reception desk which is very important to the guests after a day of fun. For first timers to this hotel, one has to use the elevator to go up to the reception area. After that, everything is a breeze. I will certainly avail if this hotel when I return to Lyon.

Very small, almost a bit cramped, but very nice and comfortable despite that. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location but a bit difficult to park (you need to drive a distance on a busy pedestrian street, be sure to call the hotel for directions and assistance).

Kleines feines Stadthotel, mit freundlichem Personal und gutem Frühstück. Zentral in Lyon gelegen. Leider sind die Betten für 2 Personen sehr schmal, allerdings komfortabel. Check-In und Check-Out liegt nur 2 Stunden auseinander. Hervorragend. Der Zimmerservice müsste aufmerksamer sein. Leider war bei uns fast alles im fertigen Zimmer alle. Haarwäsche, Toilettenpapier, Taschentücher. Zimmerreinigung erfolgte auch erst auf Aufforderung.

Quaint little hotel in the middle of Lyon. Walkable to all attractions and many cafes and restaurants, plus a nice market around the corner. The room was clean and well appointed. While the room itself was small, we were comfortable and slept very well. We weere treated to a very nice praline brioche as a welcome gift. I would definitely stay here again.

L’emplacement est très pratique avec le métro à côté et les principaux attraits touristiques. Le petit déjeuner est très bon sauf pour le café. Les chambres sont petites mais confortables, la douche parfaite. Le seul défaut est qu’il n’y a pas de fenêtre aux chambres donnant sur le jardin, uniquement la porte qui doit être fermée pour avoir de l’intimité.

Terrific boutique hotel in a superior location, very walkable, nice, courteous staff. Very clean, nice room with a comfy bed, good pillows and blackout curtains so I could get a good sleep. My room had a great view of the street and square outside. I’d happily return.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Despite being inside pedestrian zone hotel directions for arrival by car and parking were very clear and accurate. Great location near subway, restaurants and shopping.

Alors que nous devions aller sur la place bellecour avant de revenir j’ai laissé une gourde Stanley sur ma table de chevet. Comme nous avions déjà chargé nos valises auparavant le personnel a dû penser que nous étions plus là : ils ont donc pris cet effet personnel et nous ont indiqué n’avoir rien trouvé : sympa de se faire voler ses affaires et très professionnel !

The staff was very accommodating to our needs, easy to talk to and offers help willingly. The hotel is walkable to the Bellecour Plaza which is also close to the shopping district. There is a metro and a tourist office at the Bellecour Plaza. Also by the Bellecour Plaza is the Lyon City bus - hop on/off version. However, it is only one bus and the total full bus route to the tourist areas is two hours. one has to plan their day. The area around the hotel has a lot of dining options as well. The hotel offers an unlimited supply of drinking water by the reception desk which is very important to the guests after a day of fun. For first timers to this hotel, one has to use the elevator to go up to the reception area. After that, everything is a breeze. I will certainly avail if this hotel when I return to Lyon.

Hotel Alexandra was an excellent choice for Lyon. It couldn't be more conveniently located, the staff was delightful and kind. The rooms are quirky, maybe a bit small (but not unexpectedly so), but clean and comfortable. It's literally steps away from the metro, so it's super convenient to get anywhere in the city. I'll definitely stay there again when I return!

The hotel is very neat and stylish with a lovely courtyard. The concierge even showed me to my room, which is small but comfortable and cozy. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to Lyon’s Perrache train station. There are several good restaurants nearby, as this is the culinary capital. I enjoyed the traditional Lyonnaise bouchon Le Poelon D’Or. Be sure to reserve ahead.

This hotel is in a perfect spot, it is next to the main train station and even a metro stop on the corner. Plenty of shopping and food nearby. The hotel is wonderful and we had zero problems with anything. Highly recommended.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, frente a una entrada del metro que lo hace muy conveniente para moverse de ser necesario, sobre la Vía Víctor Hugo donde puedes caminar tranquilamente y encontrar muchas tiendas y lugares para comer, cerca de la plaza Bellecour, cerca de la parte antigua de la ciudad, y el personal ha sido muy amable.

Quiet but very close to the centre of Lyon, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited but very tasty. I certainly would stay again if I was in Lyon.

La camera era molto piccola e così gli spazi comuni, sia la reception che la sala colazione. La colazione troppo cara rispetto a quanto offerto. Hotel was lovely and ideally located, right on the metro. Breakfast was over-priced so we only splurged once in our 3 nights. Many cafe's within stepping distance from the hotel, even in the rain. And believe me, there is rain! Limited parking available, although the public parking garage is close by and convenient. We only needed the car to attend a wedding, so really you wouldn't need a car at all to just explore the city, since the train system is so amazing. Rooms are small, but very comfortable - not much walking space around your bed if you have lots of luggage. Impossibly small safe, couldn't even hold a macbook. Shower is strong. Rooms are a bit noisy if you have a street-facing room. The front desk is very friendly and helpful for dinner suggestions. We had two really great dinners just blocks from the hotel: Le Poêlon d'Or was a 5* and Le Comptoir d'Ainay was a notch less, since it seemed pricey for no reason, but tasty. We did very well on our limited French. Very safe and lively location for a hotel.

Kamer is niet groot en vooral het bed was voor twee lange mensen te klein. Verrassend was dat er nog een deur was naar een tweede slaapkamertje. Alles was schoon, net en rustig. Net grootste pluspunt was het ontbijt. Alles huisgemaakt en vriendelijke service. Is het extra geld (€19) zeker waard. ‘S avonds en op zondag is het op straat gratis parkeren dus stuk goedkoper dan €40 per nacht betalen voor de parkeergarage.

Hôtel is in a good location on a shopping street. The car park is very handy but please don’t come in an suv as it is small. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good but there are many other options nearby.

Fantastic little hotel, with very friendly staff. Cleaning was impeccable. We did not decide to use the breakfast as we found the price a bit high. Air condition was a life saver during the heatwave. The one thing that could improve the room would perhaps be a mini fridge. One thing left a disappointment though - the qr code for services shows laundry with the word FREE next to it in big green letters. We used it and then had a high laundry cost upon checkout - when checking, the fine print did say "paid laundry service" so partially our fault, but should be clarified to avoid disappointed customers.
