Checked out this morning and overall my stay was okay. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The grounds seemed to be well kept and its about 40 steps away from a gas station/food market. Inside the hotel was clean, however the pool area could of been better. They used way too much chlorine in such a small area. The smell was burning my eyes. The pool also seemed a bit murky looking. The hottub was disgusting and went under construction the day we checked out, so something was definitely up with it. I didnt go into the pool at all and after about ten minutes of allowing my kids to swim, i decided to pull them out. Didnt use the gym, but had some equipment like treadmill, elliptical, bike and some weights. Breakfast every morning wasnt anything special or nutritious. Quick stuff. Cereal, prepackaged bagels/muffins, eggs, pancakes/waffels etc. We made due. Our room wae clean for the most part. A little mold on the caulking in our shower, but other than that it was good. Bed was very soft and comfortable. The air-conditioning system was very strong (which is good) but it also was making a very loud and interesting sound every so often. Loud enough to wake me up and to keep me from falling asleep. Our door to our room also was broken and hard to get into without some elbow grease. The hotel offered tea, coffee, cookies ans lemonade throughout the day which was nice. Overall our stay was alright,nothing special, but did the job for the weekend

Upon arrival there was a sign at the front desk about the hot tub being closed. After checking in, there were issues with the elevator and 1 was already marked as out of order. After a few minutes with the attendants help, one the elevators worked. The toilets air operating system caused the top of the commode tank lid to rattle loudly so we had to take the lid off every time we flushed. We went down to the pool area and noticed there were fallen tiles on the floor, rust and protruding wires from the ceiling, one had wire nuts, the other 2 did not showing bare wires. The pool was not heated as a advertised. The laundry washing machine was marked out of order. The amount paid for this hotel was not worth it!

Very comfortable and clean hotel. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The hot tub is currently closed, which was disappointing. The pool was cloudy, but we still used it and it did not smell or cause any skin issues for us. The breakfast was excellent. The staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Friendly Staff. Easy to find location. Tub/shower wasn't draining water properly. Bed was very uncomfortable with broken box spring so my back was hurting in the morning. My daughters were looking forward to using the pool area and enjoyed it but the hot tub was gross, filthy.

Reserved this stay months in advance. Chose this place primarily for the advertised hot tub, the included hot breakfast, and proximity to Hershey Park. Well, immediately upon getting there we discovered that the hot tub is suddenly out of service and remained that way our entire stay. The breakfast really wasn’t too great and please trust me when I say, I am usually not picky at all when it comes to food. Whatever! At least there was a Sheets in the same parking lot. That was convenient. Ice machine was out of service. Pool could use more upkeep. It definitely appeared a little dirty and had a weird fowl smell in certain spots in the pool area. Previous guest’s trash was still on the shelf under the bathroom sink. The workout room was modest but it has a couple nice treadmills and some free weights. My wife immediately noticed that the extra slide lock on the door must have been broken off at some point and is now nonexistent. That didn’t make her feel very safe. Air conditioner worked well and the beds were comfortable enough. My 11 year old son had many complaints about the pullout sleeper, but that’s not too surprising. 2 of our 4 mornings there, the place was over-whelmed by HUGE groups of kids that were staying there. Completely took over the main areas, and breakfast room. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Parking was convenient. In all, it was an OK stay, given the price, but amenities were still disappointing and definitely didn’t live up to the advertisement.

Friendly kind staff upon arrival, easy check, very clean and well maintained hotel and room! Definitely gives the country hospitality, they offer a few games in the lobby and fresh soft baked cookies in the evening. Pool is nice, not very big however clean, with a jacuzzi, towels are available. We will definitely be staying here again!

The room was not clean. Stained sheets, hair in the shower, a used soap bar in the shower, and the toilet smelled as if someone peed all over it. The staff member was helpful when I showed pictures of the lack of cleanliness.

The hotel was very clean! I like the fact that they have flooring instead of rug in the room. The bathroom looked like they were just re done. Very Close to Hershey Park too! The breakfast had a lot of choices too! PLUS they take cats! We will be back next year for our annual trip to Hershey Park!

Room smelt like mildew, there was mold on the AC vents. I asked for a new room and they swapped out the filters in thr room which was nice if them. But it only fixed the problem until the cleaner smell wore off. And they only clean the rooms every three days. Hot tub was broke, and the pool room was not maintained well.

I never write a review but I couldn’t let other guests have the same experience we had. I’m still waiting to hear back from the manager and getting Expedia customer service is not easy either. The room isn’t worth the $240 we paid for it! It’s small, and DIRTY!!!! See pictures below. I have never stayed in such a firthy room before shd the only reason we slept there overnight is because we had our kid with us and it was late. The sofa bed is not comfortable at all! And when taking out the bed sheets from the closet - we have realized the sheets are dirty and we even find an old sock in there! The other sheets has a hole on them and the bathroom had mold and lots of dust everywhere! It’s so disappointing!

The carpets in hallways are extremely stained and have a smell. They have zero control over the dogs barking late hours and early morning. We had a room next to us that went out and they had several dogs in the room that bark numerous hours of the night then again early morning. The bed also was very loud almost sounded like a broken board when you would lay down. And no….. I am not a larger person so it was quite annoying while sleeping. The mattress was quite old.

My family and I stay here every year when we visit Hershey Park. We love using the pool and enjoy the cookies and drinks they have available in the lobby for guests. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is sufficient, however the last 2 years we've been placed towards the end of the hall (near a back or side parking lot) and unfortunately it's been pretty loud at night with cars or trucks arriving late, doors slamming, beeping, and the stairwell door closing often. Regardless, the staff is very friendly and we enjoy our stay here.

We had to switch rooms three time. The first they put us in an occupied room. Then to a kind suite but it did not accommodate our needs then your actual room. The bathroom door would not shut. The toilet was loose. Two spots on the bathroom Ceiling were not properly repaired and painted. The bathroom sink did not drain well nor did the shower.

I want to first say that the staff here was absolutely excellent. The entire hotel was very clean. My only complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable the mattress was very worn out but this is my only complaint We will stay here again for future stays.

Nice property only issue was tv didn't work properly. We changed batteries in the remote, that didn't work, then we went to front desk for another remote. That didn't work, staff came to our room to try to correct the issue - also not working properly. We could only watch 1 station. Very disappointing but only watched tv at night before bedtime

The room was large and newly redone. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Only complaint I have was not getting new bathroom supplies. The bottles had all clearly been opened and used. That is not where you should be cutting corners. It left a bad impression.

The room was great, the staff including the younger manager were very friendly everything was fine until it came time for me to leave and there was an issue with the amount I was charged and how I was being charged on multiple accounts, the lady at the front desk was very rude, dismissive, condescending and unhelpful. Made me feel as if I was just a bother more than anything. I doubt highly I will be returning to this property.

Check in easy after that. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom fan was noisy and had to shut the bathroom door. Door to room was hard to unlock. Breakfast was boring, no bagels, corn muffins dry, white/wheat bread, scrambled eggs appeared runny, not sure of sausage gravy and biscuits, but the waffles and coffee was good. Housekeeping did not respect late checkout. Everything else was amazing. Room was great, beds were great, room was quiet even when the hallway was noisy. AC worked well. The employees were very nice.

The Hotel Manager was extremely rude when we had a problem at check in. He offered no options to remedy the situation. THANKFULLY the front desk clerk suggested I call Expedia for assistance. The customer service representative at Expedia was fantastic at assisting us and had a solution in minutes. While our room and accommodations were good, the managers blatant refusal to assist us when we were hours from home was very upsetting

We needed to check in early and Chris (front desk staff) made it happen!! The room was comfy and very clean. We came back late from a concert at Hershey Stadium and the staff that was working welcomed us back and asked if we needed anything.

We had a quick weekend trip to Hershey Park. This hotel was about 12 minutes away. Very reasonably priced. Quiet rooms. Bed was a little soft, but not uncomfortable. Pool was heated and clean. Breakfast assortment had eggs, sausage, french toast, hash browns and waffle machines. There was an assortment of cold foods as well. Our bathroom floor grout was coming up and some of the tile rocked. These small items were fine for a one or two night stay. The room was very large.

Overall we had a nice stay. The check in process was quick and staff was very friendly. Lots of things were broken in the hotel (e.g., ice machine, hot tub). Also they had a vending machine in the lobby and we had a problem with it. It owned by an outside vendor so there wasn’t anything staff could do. They were apologetic but we lost money. There were lots of breakfast choices but I am Celiac so I could only eat three things. I know they are like most hotels in that regard but I wish all chains would do better in this area. I appreciate having breakfast included and am grateful but it stinks when you get stuck with 1-2 choices typically if you are lucky. It’s also hard because nothing is labeled with ingredients (e.g. eggs, sausages, etc) so you are not really sure if they are gluten free. You have to take a chance.
