Listen, this is a “no-frills” kind of hostel. Want a locker? Pay for it downstairs. Want breakfast? Pay for it at check-in. Your bed is just a metal frame and uncomfortable mattress, no privacy screen. I had to share an outlet with my neighbor as there was just ONE electrical socket between both of us. There is a small kitchen in the basement however, so you can cook somewhat. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just a seriously “get what you pay for” setup. I did get a towel at no charge and I consider that a positive for this location. It’s next to a very noisy street. BRING EARPLUGS AND SLEEP MASK.

From the start the first impression was alright, the checkin was done with a clunky self checking but with friendly employees that helped me skip most of the clunk. I got my room on the 7th floor and the elevator being very small and raggedy. There was suppose to be two elevators but one was out of order. It worked most of the time, but one day a security guard had to run upstairs to close a elevator door properly to make it go downstairs which took a bit. About the room, it looked at first glance fairly clean, tho some of the towels were kinda sloppy put on the bed. While a towel which must have been a used one forgotten to be taken away was crumpled up as a ball on top of a shelf. Besides that the sheets where clean and the bed, while firm was a good place to sleep after long days while i was there. There was some places which are harder to clean, but was kinda grimy like on the top of bathroom doors and some places along the ceiling that was fairly dirty. Didnt bother me to much, but I can see how it could affect some people. Overall it was passable for what I needed and for the price.

Good, clean hostel. Good shower. I hate it when you arrive at a hostel to be greeted by screens, only for them (of course) not to work, so then you have to queue again to speak to a human being. I arrived a day late and was told my room had not been saved (even though I’d paid for it) but this was eventually resolved by an unsympathetic member of staff after a lot of form-filling. The room had only one window that opened only a tiny bit so was boiling hot, despite it being rather a chilly evening. The beds had only 2 sockets (one USB-A and one USB-C) and really could have done with a little shelf of some sort. Each bed had curtains and a light. Good location just a short walk from the centre and the central station.
