The Room: We stayed in a large room with a balcony, minibar, and wall-to-wall carpeting. The bed was large and comfortable (180 cm), though the lighting in the room was a bit dim. The bathroom has a partially open layout, but the toilet is in its own separate room. Gym and Running: The gym features dumbbells, a bench, a lat pulldown machine, and some cardio equipment, but it lacks a treadmill despite information to the contrary online. Fortunately, the hotel is a short distance from a series of small parks connected to each other, which works perfectly for a run of 4 km or more. Parking: The parking garage is narrow, so you need to take it slow. The maximum height is 2 meters. It worked fine with our RAV4. You are let in via an intercom system connected to the reception. Practical Info: We skipped the hotel breakfast and instead bought food at the BioMarkt and Back-Werk, both within walking distance. The hotel is otherwise ideally located near the S-Bahn and the Neue Flora theater in Altona. In Short: A spacious and solid option in Hamburg with practical amenities right in the neighborhood.
