Airport hotel without shuttle transfer (not even a paid one). On their website they say it is due to Covid19, only 5 years later. There are several hotels in the area, shared service could be arranged, they just do not want to. Better stay at the city, you will spend 50 € in taxis anyway.

Vi overnattede på Mövenpick Hotel München Airport som en del af vores køretur sydpå. Prisen var lav – 750 kroner inkl. morgenmad – og det var nemt at tjekke ind, selvom vi ankom sent. Men ellers var det desværre ikke nogen specielt god oplevelse. Parkeringen kostede 25 euro og var mildt sagt kaotisk. Alle pladser var optaget, og der holdt biler overalt – også på græs og i hjørner, hvor der egentlig ikke må parkeres. Man kan kun betale med kontanter, hvilket er ret upraktisk. Vi havde valgt hotellet fordi, der var mulighed for at oplade elbil, men her knækkede filmen for alvor. Der er kun to ladepunkter til et enormt hotel, og der er ingen regler for, hvor længe man må holde. Det ene ladestik var i stykker, og på det andet holdt den samme bil hele aftenen, natten og morgenen. Vi påpegede det i receptionen, men personalet virkede lidt ligeglade. Opladning er ganske vist inkluderet i parkeringsprisen, men det hjælper ikke meget, når man ikke kan få adgang til laderen. Selve hotellet er stort og virker som noget, der engang var fancy – for 25 år siden. Nu fremstår det træt og lidt forsømt. Værelserne var dog store og virkede ok rene, men med gammeldags gulvtæpper overalt, der gør det svært at gøre ordentligt rent. Gutes und sauberes Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens München. Einen Shuttle Bus vom Flughafen zum Hotel und zurück gibt es leider nicht. Entweder man nimmt das Auto - Parkkosten liegen bei 20€ am Tag Oder S-Bahn und Bus.. dauert 30 Minuten oder Taxi - Fahrpreis zwischen 30€ und 40€

Movenpick is nice and quiet. Threre is no dropoff to the munich airport. Bus 692/698 to halbergamoos followed by S8. Taxi is also possible for 30 € . I liked the sauna at the hotel

The carpet was filthy! I guess if they allow pets maybe they should remove carpets and install wood floor. Also AC was was turned off internally, they said it was not summer any longer so if needed air we needed to open window! Spider crawling down wall a few days later. Older hotel needs to be upgraded especially carpets. Perfect location to bus that takes you to train. Even though close to airport no problem with traffic noise at night.

Chose an airport hotel to be close to the airport. Modern facility. The airport noise is fine with the windows closed. Problem is that their central AC only either heats or cools and when you arrive during the shoulder season some guests want to regulate the heat up and down and some want to regulate the AC up and down. If it’s too hot, you can open the window, but then the airport noise gets to you. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is really really good. Beds are comfy and facility is very clean. There are 3 bus stops in front of the hotel for the same bus, which stops at only one of them depending on the time of day. A bit confusing, especially when returning, where it may be at the side of the hotel. So check with your GPS. They are fairly well synchronized with the train system to take you into town. Takes about 40-50 min to downtown. All in all, would stay here again, if I needed to be at the airport early for my flight.

This hotel is far from a 4-star hotel. There were many problems with my stay at this hotel. The air conditioning did not work. According to the staff, it was turned off “for the winter” (on October 2). However, it was warm in the room so I was told we could open the window which meant trying to sleep with the sound of air traffic and people in the parking lot throughout the night, not to mention it didn’t help with the a comfortable room temperature. I can put up with an outdated hotel, but this was ridiculous and seriously disrupted my sleep. The other problem was the restaurant is only open after 6 pm. So, if you need something to eat, you need a car to drive and find a restaurant. I would not stay here again or recommend.

One night here before our flight home. Restaurant and food is great, wonderful breakfast and nice dinner selection. We had a superior room on the top floor - damp and dark. Somewhat worn, but mostly clean. The hotel is showing its age. Works well if you have a rental car.

Easy check-in and check-out. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Explained how to bus and then take the S train to Marienplatz. The room was clean, comfortable and big..especially for Europe. Less than 10 minute Uber ride to the airport.

It is a bit unfair to label all of the staff as poor. The front desk staff was excellent in every aspect. It was the incredibly poor service in the restaurant that earned the poor rating. Rarely have I ever seen a server act so terribly. The waitress was slow in taking the order, brought out food only after being asked, then didn’t bring all of it. Once we caught her attention, she said she would bring out the remaining food, but it still took her over 20 minutes to do it. She was rude the entire time and never offered an apology for anything. We will stay there again, but the restaurant has lost our business forever.

Great place right next to a bus stop. Don't let them convinced you to take a taxi for28€ when you can take the bus and S-bahn for 4€. Clean, comfortable. Breakfast is expensive, but nice to have available. Staff was a little condescending--tried to talk is out of the bus/train.

We had been traveling since early morning and arrived just after 2 pm. We figured we would eat at hotel. There was no food available as the restaurant was open in the morning for breakfast and at 6 pm for dinner. The bar was open at 4 but they didn't serve food. The closest place was a 20 min walk. I asked about snacks to buy and all they had were peanuts. We did enjoy the meal at 6 pm and the breakfast the next morning. That was the downside for us but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Es hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Das Hotel befindet sich auch unmittelbar in der Nähe zum Flughafen. Ich konnte das Rollfeld vom Fenster aus sehen. Frühstück kann ich nicht bewerten, da ich nur Übernachtung hatte. Das Abendessen war mir, um ehrlich zu sein, zu teuer. Burger € 21 oder Wiener Schnitzel € 28. Auch Parken ist verhältnismäßig teuer (€ 17 pro Nacht), da es nur Außenstellplätze gibt. Hier wird ausgenutzt, dass es rundherum nur Firmen und Hotels gibt und ansonsten überall Privatparkplätze sind, auf denen man gar nicht oder kostenpflichtig parken ka nn/muss. Für mich ist das Hotel.daher zukünftig keine Option mehr. Da fahre ich lieber 10 Minuten länger zum Flughafen, habe dafür aber einen Parkplatz, der weniger oder nichts kostet. Oder man integriert die Gebühr gleich in den Zimmerpreis. Ich war sehr geschockt über den Preis und die Alternativlosigkeit. Schade ☹️

This is a great place for an A/P sleep-over. I arrived early so my room wasn't ready. I didn't know and they didn't tell me that there was no food service between 3 and 6 PM - anywhere ion the area! The receptionist rescued me with a bag of peanuts. Three hours later the Wiener Schnitzel was excellent. Excellent breakfast service. The boiled eggs were soft boiled and the egg stands were hidden, only complaint. The honey comb and multigrain bread more than compensated me for that minor inconvenience.
