Absolute top class hotel in all aspects. An amazing spa and wellness centre, and an excellent rooftop bar and restaurant. I’d like to highlight the CRM Sofia who makes the stay something very special. Highly recommended!

A lovely hotel, in a very convenient area of Barcelona in walking distance of most of the highlights Barcelona has to offer. Very friendly and helpful staff, a great view from the roof top terrace and pool a lovely wellness area, with indoor pool and separate pool with different water and air jets to massage and relax.

Staff, food, room and rooftop bar were great. 2 things not so good. The valve control on the towel rail is in a bad place, protruding in the narrow doorway to the toilet - my wife has a significant bruise on her shoulder as a result. The gym is cramped and the equipment is okaaaay, but pretty old.

I have staying in the same hotel a few times and I love it. Their new gym and pool facilities are amazing. The location of this hotel is very nice, walkable and safe. You have luxury shops, coffee shops and restaurants, close to hop in&out bus tours and a clean and updated property.

They say they have the best awarded breakfast in Europe and it’s by FAR the best breakfast I’ve had. The pastries were puffy and the croissant smashed, there was not a big variety of choices. The outdoor pool looks more like a duck pond hidden in the shadows. I have stayed in amazing luxe hotels and this is def not among my top ones. Not worth the price. You could get the same quality they offer for 1/4 the price.

I enjoyed the hotel and wished that I had more than one night, however, I was not happy that I was told upon check in that the pool would be open until 11 PM. When I went to the pool at 9 PM it was locked, in spite of being told by someone else that worked at the hotel that it should be open. After speaking to a 3rd person, I was told that the pool closed at 6PM. This was disappointing since the pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

Really lovely hotel and staff. We could not however make use of the leisure facilities due to our children’s ages which was disappointing. We partly chose the hotel due to having a pool and if did not appear to say on the website that children could only use the pool at specific times.

Nuestra estancia familiar (matrimonio con una hija de 4 años) resultó sencillamente espectacular. La ubicación privilegiada del hotel y el confort de la habitación constituyen atributos indiscutibles. La calidad de la cama y de las duchas merece especial reconocimiento, así como la reposición diaria de aguas. El servicio ofrecido por todo el personal fue impecable, siempre caracterizado por la cortesía y la atención a los detalles. El único matiz menos favorable —que en absoluto afecta la calificación de 5 estrellas— fue la limpieza de la habitación: en dos ocasiones se dejaron vasos y tazas sin retirar, y no se realizó la reposición del minibar. En conjunto, una experiencia extraordinaria que recomendamos sin reservas.

Very clean and comfortable room, great air conditioning in the room. Hotel was very tidy. Front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating, even helped bring all of our bags to our room. The hotel is in a great location too, right on the main street with all of the shops and restaurants right there. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the residences, which are designed to accommodate families of four. At both booking and check-in, we were assured that we would receive the same amenities as other guests, including daily cleaning, fresh towels, bed-making, and coffee station refreshes. However, during our three-night stay, not once did housekeeping service our room. We returned each evening to find nothing replenished, and had to call the front desk around 6 p.m. every day just to request fresh towels. Service at the rooftop pool also left a lot to be desired. As guests of the hotel we were told we’d get priority service and access and when asking for some of the tables with better views we weren’t seated there while they remained open. Location of the hotel was the only positive thing about this place.

I stayed at the Barcelona hotel and, unfortunately, was very disappointed. Although the hotel presents itself as a 5-star establishment, the service was far from that standard. First of all, it's important to note that the rooms are located in a separate building — a residence — which doesn't offer the same level of hotel service. To get to the room, I had to go outside, take two elevators, and walk through corridors — it took around 5 minutes each time. The main issue was the lack of proper housekeeping. Every day, I called reception multiple times requesting clean towels, but nothing was done. Throughout my entire stay, the towels were never changed, and no one cleaned the room despite my repeated requests. I also had problems with the room key — twice it stopped working, and I had to return to the reception to get a new one. However, I must say that the breakfast was excellent — one of the best I’ve ever had. Overall, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone expecting quality service.

While the exterior of the hotel looks impressive, the experience inside was far from it. Our room initially seemed fine, but there was a persistent unpleasant odor that lingered whenever we entered. We were lucky to have a terrace to air it out, but the smell would return after a while. Unfortunately, our friends and family had the same issue with their rooms, so we didn’t bother asking for a change. The pillows had an additional unpleasant odor, adding to the discomfort. Overall, the hotel felt expensive but lacked the expected quality. Definitely not worth the price. Disappointed, so we won’t be returning!

Excellent front line service with the exception of the roof top where is came across as overly aggressive. The big issue with the hotel is the HVAC system...which is not controlled by you with the thermostat one the wall. No, the hotel staff control your room. And, they switch if from cooling to heating and vise versa. The remodel is very nice but I bought if I will be staying there in the future like I have in the past. It is just a shame!

The hotel was beautiful and definitely had history. I had hoped for a more grand lobby experience. The new pool was fab though small and the rooftop pool was beyond tiny but nice for the kids. The room was large and much of it was nice but the furniture was very old and seemed very dirty and we didn't want the kids to sit on it and really didn't want to ourselves either -- sofas need replaced/ updated. Its in the BEST area and that was the best part probably. The place is packed and tough to get support from Concierge. The worst part was their WIFI. It was HORRIBLE. They even gave us an individual hotspot for our room and it was just as bad as hotel wifi. They definitely need to improve the WIfi. Great housekeeping staff -- They were the best part!

Outstanding staff. The apartments are absolutely amazing and very spacious. The lounge food was delicious and the rooftop bar had amazing views of the city. The location is central and close to shopping and restaurants. I’d highly recommend.

Amazing stay at this superb hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer! Had the penthouse suite and also another room for our family. Plush, comfortable, quiet, private terrace with hot tub and loungers and table and chairs made it just perfect. Very good location for us to visit the House of Bones or also one of the other Gaudi houses too. And the street is amazing with shops and restaurants. The staff were super courteous and helpful and I love the lobby area. Since we arrived off a cruise ship early a.m. we could order food and drinks and sit in the comfortable spacious lobby to wait for the room to be ready. And the penthouse was ready early at noon before the 3 p.m. regular since we were there and they put a rush on the cleaning. Much appreciated!

Roberto and his partner I can't remember his name but I know that his name started with an E, they were absolutely amazing treated us like royalty and even helped us make coffee in our room the staff at Majestic is above and beyond by far the best definitely coming back to this property not only just because of property is beautiful but mostly because of the staff the staff makes it 100%

We stayed at the Majestic for a week…in two separate stays. The waiters and bellman were and are outstanding. They were helpful, greeted us regularly, and were just a delight. The food upstairs was great, and we got some seriously big drinks poured for us. The front desk and concierge were the problem. We reached out and with them repeatedly — due to booking problems, rooms that were not ready on time, and the most problematic, they clearly don’t talk together. We were confirmed for our second stay and upgraded to a better room category for one of two nights. This after staying 5 days in one of the 2 BR apartments a week earlier. Upon checkout, they tried to charge me for an upgraded “city view” room. This AFTER I spoke with them the night before to clarify that the room was upgraded already by a member of their staff AND it was confirmed. I provided the name and time. They essentially “did not believe me”. Wow. keys didn’t work, we requested a pick up at the airport and they didn’t show. Let’s just say it was a big disappointment.

Fabulous place. Channel and LV is just downstairs- Same building. 6 mins walk to Casa Battlio and Casa Mila/ La Pedrera. Breakfast is great!!!! And the rooftop La Dolce Vitae restaurant is fantastic. Overlooking the city. Love love love the staff at the breakfast buffet and La Dolce vitae. Rooftop restaurant. I feel soooo special

Beautiful, the best area/street! Shopping! Food! however some things can be made better! I like the classic and chic vibes the hotel gives, however the age also shows. The wifi is unreliable and the TV channels were hard to navigate in the night time when we did want to just unwind and relax. Breakfast was delicious but I expected better. Our coffee and omelette orders did not come until the very end of our meal; it almost made us late to our Park Guell time. I was a little sad and disappointed because I’d heard such good things, and the pictures of the breakfast spreads were beautiful. I’ve had better and this can definitely have some improving. Overall though, this hotel was still one of my favorite parts of my Barcelona stay just due to its class, and the servicing of the rooms multiple times a day. Very clean. I would stay again, just have my meals somewhere else.

We were in Barcelona for only one night, so we never left the hotel. But we didn't need to leave, because everything we needed was there. The rooftop bar is not to be missed, the restaurant was excellent, and the downstairs bar has great service and cocktails. Everything about this place was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful majestic hotel in a perfect location to access the best parts of Barcelona. The hotel is grand, but has lost a lot of its charm due to over commercialisation. I paid over EUR 700 per night per room, and all that is offered is coffee and one bottle of water per person. The other minibar and snacks (and scented) are at a hefty markup which is fine, but they are displayed in an ugly manner which distracts from the old world charm of the bedrooms, which were spacious and comfortable. Their signature restaurants Solc, is in a nice location and serves decent food, but the attitude of the waiters below standard. Both waiters were inattentive and brisk, taking orders like it was a cafe (how many want the croquettes, how many want the lamb?) and were slow to clear courses and poured wine over the half way mark on the glass. Really a let down. The rooftop bar has unparalleled views of southern Barcelona city. On a good day, the view is stunning. Their outdoor plunge pool on the same rooftop is unheard. Overall, the hotel is amazing for the rooftop views and location. The rooms are good too, but the rest of the experience doesn’t justify the high price. There are better value hotels with just as good comfort and location for cheaper.
