It was not luxury at all. Lots of wrong information, it’s an electric stove, oven was not to be use by us ? We never found out why. Chef kitchen it said in their description. Old pots no pan, dishes is scratched. Kettle was rusted on the outside and inside full of loose Sediments , the bed sheets were stained and it look like it was slept in. Not at all what it said was n their description of the cottage. Also they told me it was hardwood floor, it was a laminate floor that was not new either. I prefer real information than made up description. Pet friendly it said then when you read their guide it says sorry no cats. Someone should ask them to show their guide book and the waver and the safety deposit???? Not impressed, loved the location.

The property is a cute little two bedroom, cozy and nice view. It is very close to the highway which makes the traggic, mostly the trucks and airbrakes very loud. There were empty beer bottles littered around the property as well as broken glass which I stepped on, as well as a chair leg bottom with a tack that embedded itself into my sandal poking the bottom of my foot. There is no frying pan or gas range, oven doesn't work so its bbq, microwave only. There are two propane tanks, but one is empty and the other half full one is the one the cleaning crew (one extremely rude woman) brought in to get exchanged. There is only one dock as well, the brochure is loaded with untruths.I contacted the owner the first night when we found the empty propane tank while lrepping rib eye steaks....I sent three messages on WhatsApp before a response an hour later to repeat exactly what i said on the last message and an apology for not responding saying that he "was down with viral".Do not be fooled by the luxury placed in the description, 2/5 stars at best. Be prepared for an attempted overcharge when you leave. We ensured the home was cleaner then when we arrived (which didn't take much)...but left at 12:30. The 75 an hour charge p/hour for late departure apparently means 300 for a half hour. And dont bother cleaning up, I made sure the cans i had were taken for recycling...I suggest throwing them around the property where the cleaning crew doesnt look for broken glass.

We had a great time and enjoyed the clear, shallow, and sandy bottom and water of Lake Simcoe. The doc was large with ample seating. We loved the interior of the house with so many bathrooms for each room. It was clean inside and many towels were available for us. I would suggest a better clean up of the backyard and deck for guest arrival. As well the hot tub had sand in it and the sauna floor could have been swept. An umbrella at the dock would have been a good addition for anyone who needed some shade. Some instructions about garbage and recycling would have been appreciated. Overall a fun stay! Thanks Anne!
