I will start by saying that the hotel is not four stars. The hotel is okay but needs better maintenance and upkeep. The pros of my stay: the reception staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. Cleanliness was okay. The beds were comfortable. The price was not bad. During my stay there was one day we were unable to shower, luckily I had two rooms as was traveling in a large family group and went to the next room to shower. imagine after a full day of sightseeing, riding trains, buses, etc., and arriving in the evening and not being able to shower due to the thermostat broken. they said I would have to wait till the next day. They had no extra rooms to accommodate me. They did fix it the next day, however. The reception furniture showed signs of wear and was stained. Some of the furniture in the room was stained as well. Overall, the hotel was okay but don’t expect a four star hotel or anything luxurious. What really disappointed me about the stay was that one of my wallets went missing from a bag left in the hotel room. I didn’t report it right away because I was already gone when I noticed it. It never left the room. The housekeeping staff was not as friendly as the reception. There were 2 days when the rooms were not serviced at all.
