Hilton Vacation Club Cancun Resort Las Vegas

We had no idea when booking the place that all the amenities would be closed. Swimming pool closed, etc. But we still had to pay the $35 resort fee. Even though there was no resort. Also, the elevators were not working in our building. It was a real pain going up and down the stairs.

Spotless room. Great staff. Nice amenities. Off the strip but close enough. Amazing pool and hot tubs.

Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. Half the rooms are outdated. Everything closes at 8pm such as the pool, hot tubs and bar. Bar drinks were weak. We did walk to the The Bar down the street.

The pool was closed which was the main attraction for choosing this location. We discovered after we arrived that this is done seasonally however it wasn’t made clear when we booked the room. Additionally, the hot tubs closed at 6 p.m. which is beyond understanding. The rooms were fine. The off strip location was perfect for us.

It was a nice pool weather In Vegas but unfortunately the pool was closed.

Bbq isn't connected to the pool area. Only one elevator working for the whole main tower.

We arrived at the property around 8pm on Friday, check in was smooth and handled without any issues by Genesis (apologies if I've misspelt your name), we were assigned a 2 bedroom, king/dbl room in building 5 on the 5th floor. The room was clean and well appointed but the decor a little dated compared to European hotels, I find this typical for many US hotels though. The room had a balcony with views overlooking the strip which was fantastic. I used the gym most mornings and found this to be very well equiped for a hotel; 3 treadmills, 2 X trainers, 2 bikes and a Peloton enabled Spin bike, additionally there were numerous weight machines and a good selection of dumbbells. The pool was open as advertised although the slide section was closed until the afternoon and occasionally the lifeguards would close other sections of the pool but keep the sunnier areas open; this was understandable based on the numbers of guests and availability of the lifeguards. The Caribe poolside bar was well appointed and the prices were very reasonable compared to other hotels with a daily happy hour 3-4. The menu and food looked good but we did not eat there. The hotel grounds are very well kept, clean and tidy, the BBQ grill area was immaculate and had a nice herb garden next to it for use by guests. The hotel staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. Overall this hotel was excellent value for money in a good location for exploring wider Las Vegas. We didn't experience any timeshare sales

We loved it. Will come back again. Only bad thing I can say is parts of the pool were not open for the whole time we were there. It would’ve been awesome if the whole pool could’ve been open.

The spas and poolside restaurant/bar closed each night at 6pm, which seems very early. We tried to get dinner at 6:30 one evening and could not. Also, the game room was closed due to a private event one of the days. I messaged the hotel about these issues and was told it would be "looked in to." Never received a response. All in all, I feel like we paid way too much for there to be absolutely nothing to do in the evenings at the resort.

Didn’t use the bar or the restaurant Used the pool. Was sad the lifeguard staffing did not allow for the whole pool to be open and they constantly closed the water slides for guard rotations. The guards were not motivated to hurry and were on their phones

The room was dated; for example, the oven was not clean inside, and the smell when in use was horrible. The table lamps had loose parts, ready to tip over, and the shades were wobbly. The carpet was filthy, and there was no broom/dustpan to clean up the floors. Used paper towels and water to clean kitchen floor. Also, there were no kitchen towels or hot pads. There were greasy finger marks and dirt on doors, glass, and table tops. Toilet paper was like sandpaper, and the lotion/bodywash, shampoo/conditioner stunk. The game room was torn apart; one pool table was being destroyed by some boys, one foosball table and the games had missing pieces. No supervision or care of the DVDs and no chairs to sit on. Pictures on the website very deceiving, and we had to pay $35.00 a day for amenities we could not use.

Very clean, quiet and safe property

Room was not very clean at all! Stains everywhere (walls, doors, table, bathrooms) Shower was not clean! The floors in bathrooms and kitchen were dirty not even swept nor mopped! Did not use sink but I was gross! Over all it made due, but needs to be cleaned! I am glad I brought some items to give it a wipe down and Lysol!!

They already changed the sheets And the towels and did the dishes. Which I am grateful for. So they don't need to do that again. But the floor is so dirty that dust sticks to my socks and billows up, so it looks like the floors haven't been vacuumed in years and no one has ever used a wand to get the corners of the room. I have dust allergies and this is completely unacceptable, and I don't think even vacuuming will fix the problem. This carpet needs a deep cleaning. It is filthy and causing me to not be able to sleep well. I would say sure go ahead and come vacuum tomorrow and I wish that would fix the problem, but by the looks of the corners of these rooms they haven't used a wand to get the corners in over ten years. There are visible piles of dust and detritus, and flakes of skin and hair and other particles of dirt everywhere. So yes, I will keep my stuff off the floor and it would be great if they could do a deep cleaning tomorrow after ten am, but by the looks of the corners of these rooms a deep cleaning doesn't include a wand on the vacuum to get the corners of the room. I must insist on a discount, and I hope that the maids would do me the courtesy of using the vaccuum wand to get all the dust out of the corners of the rooms or I must insist on doing it myself. I will be leaving and not staying another higher with you. Depending on how you handle this, will determine how high up the Hilton chain I decide to complain. This lack of hygiene is completely unacceptable

Floors in room were dirty, furniture was dusty, showers were dusty. I called for housekeeping to request a cleaning and was told they would be up soon. After four nights, they never arrived. Door to room was flimsy and you could see gaps to the hallway. Long wait to check in, even though the lines weren't that long. People smoking pot in the parking lot. Overall, not a pleasant stay at all.

Room always clean & staff very efficient whenever we call for any extras.

Staff was very helpful,warm and friendly. The bugs in the room I can’t get over aka roaches.

The toilet wasn’t cleaned good just the top of it was clean the floors were still dirty and the walls were dirty.

Slowest internet on the planet, and koffe machine in the room not usable, not even employees know how it works

A/C had to be reset 3 times during our stay. The room was clean though.

Rooms need some work

My stay at the Cancun Resort Las Vegas was great. It's on Las Vegas Blvd about a couple miles until you hit the strip, so it was nice and quiet. There is a Smiths grocery store just across the street for easy access to grocery items to last you during your trip if you want to make use of the kitchenette, provided your room has one. The two bedroom suite was perfect for my partner and our friends to share, the room was nice and clean, and all of the staff I dealt with from the front desk to the maintenance guy were all friendly and helpful. My only issue I had while staying here was my room's A/C unit disconnecting a couple of times during my stay. Connection was restored by the maintenance team, though it dropped out again around the next day. They are aware of the issue however and assured that in the coming weeks they are going to replace the thermostat units in applicable rooms during the off-season. I would recommend this hotel and it's definitely on my roster of places to stay while I'm visiting.

Very nice resort staff was friendly. Suite was spacious and clean with a nice view of the strip from a distance.

The room was great, other than the AC not working. Our room became hot and stuffy at night which made it a little difficult to get comfortable to sleep. Otherwise everything was nice and as expected.

They are incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. This is definitely one of the best places in Vegas for the money.

I have never experienced the best stay in customer service at a hotel ever.. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and always took care of any request we had immediately.. Big kudos to the management team and all workers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I had a really disappointing experience here on Father’s Day. Check-in was supposed to be at 4 PM, but I arrived around 5:30 PM and was told my room still wasn’t ready. No apology, no explanation—just told to leave my number and wait. When I politely asked if there was an estimated time, the front desk staff (a one young woman in particular) was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She gave short, dismissive answers, didn’t try to assist at all, and clearly seemed annoyed just because there was a line. It felt like I was an inconvenience, not a paying guest. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. If you’re going to charge guests premium rates, the bare minimum is having the room ready at check-in time and treating people with basic courtesy. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a smooth or respectful experience.

We enjoyed our one week stay here. The property was clean and safe. The staff used a text messaging service in case you need anything and it worked like a charm!!! They would respond quickly and whatever requests you had were taken care of immediately!!!!

There was an incredible push toward timeshare sales, which delayed me when I was exhausted trying to check in. They even called the room late eve to try to convince us to attend a presentation in the morning.

For years, my family has stayed at Cancun for family gatherings. This visit was beyond disappointing. I arrived at 4:00 pm to check-in and was told my room wasn’t ready. When I asked if they could give me an estimated time, I was told, “No.” At 5:30 that evening I was finally given a room. The next morning I received a text stating that the building I was in was being reprogrammed and I would need to go to the front office to exchange my keys. Upon exchanging the keys, I arrived at my room and was unable to get in and had to go back to the office. The next day, I had family arrive that I had included as room guest during the check-in. Security refused to let them in and I was called to the office again. The front desk explained that when they reprogrammed the room keys my guest list was deleted. The gentleman at the desk suggested that I call the front office from my room and update the list. That evening I called the front office and proceeded to give the lady my guest list. I was told I would need to come to the front office with a picture ID to complete the list. I once again arrived at the front desk (7/3/2025) with my list and a very rude clerk said that I should have added the guest at check-in. I tried to explain the situation to her, but she stated that she would make the change, but only once. I will never visit this resort again. I have never been treated so poorly at a resort.

The front desk agent wasn’t very nice - lots of attitude and understood working the late shift but not the way we wanted to be reciieved into Vegas after being recommended this resort for our flight in. Room smelled like mildew and lots of yelling coming from the hallways, no sorts of crowd control and so much for quiet hours after a 8 hour flight. Will not recommend, looking forward to some type of solution.

The hotel was beautiful and the room I got was really nice to except the fact I got a room that was sapost to have 2 twin beds and the hotel decided to take them out of the rooms so me and my friend had to sleep on the most uncomfortable sofa bed then when we arrived I was unaware that it was a time share hotel so I was harassed by the concierge about doing a tour after telling the people multiple times that I was not interested and nobody in my party was either to the point they called me at 1030 in the morning just for them to ask me again about the tour I then say no just for them to call me not even 10 seconds to ask again and then shame me for sleeping in on my vacation so if you not interested in a time share I wouldn't stay here

The girl at the front desk was very rude and un welcoming to both me and the couple behind me checking in. She seemed bothered to be checking us in. No smile or professionalism in a customer service area. We rechecked in and were told our room would be ready at 4. It was almost 5 before I received the notification that my room was ready.

Property was nice and the pool was nice. The area was okay. Steiners bar across the street was nice. Smiths is really close too. It was nice to be away from the strip.

quarto muito bom, amplo, com sala, cozinha, e quartos e banheiros espaçosos. Hotel silencioso a noite. 12 a 15 minutos da Strip (um uber/taxi entre 20 a 35 usd ida). Staff do hotel atencioso também. Valeu a pena a estadia, em especial pelo amplo espaço da acomodação.

This was an amazing stay loved the location l. Close to the strip but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. Hotel rooms were very spacious and clean.

I love Hilton hotels and there is nothing negative to say. Easy parking, quiet area, awesome pool. The food quality in the restaurant could be better but it was still okay.

Room service was very active and helpful. They brought everything we needed with regular check ins over text. The room was nice and included a kitchenette, a large tub, another bathroom, living room and a balcony. The pool was nice and the food is wildly good.

Dining at the restaurant is okay. Waiter was not very friendly. Fast negative response to any question. Seems like he was being bothered. Not one of the beat places we stayed.

There is not enough of dining options

Cons: Only one restaurant that closes between 8-10pm. The perfume in the lobby created big allergies for me. And, they are a "timeshare".
