Breakfast was delicious and the bbq grill and courtyard area was reallt nice.

Very nice!! I enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable, and convenient! I had a king suite, with a kitchen area w/stove, and microwave. They also have free parking and free breakfast. I will definitely stay here again 😊

Staff very friendly, the free meals & drinks were awesome! They had a heated pool which was great for my kiddos in January!!

Great to walk in from the cold to a fireplace on- candy canes at the desk, Christmas straws in the beverage area, ceramic tree mugs for coffee, a happy hour with wine and chicken wings, and someone walking around to ask how everything is were all great special touches. Loved out stay!

Great pool and location

Our stay was really comfortable! This hotel is tucked away in a business park, so there isn't much noise from traffic other than the cars coming and going from the hotel itself. The room was set up well for our needs: a full-sized fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and two-burner stovetop in the kitchen, queen sized bed, tv, couch, desk, and bathroom with a tub. We only stayed for a night, but it appears they take guests for week+ stays as well. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, their courtyard was cute, and their pool was slightly heated and a nice size for the price. No hot tub if you are looking for that, but still a nice stay over all.

It was clean and exactly what we needed. Good convenient location. Free guest laundry was nice.

Needs a hot tub

We loved the suite! It accommodated all of my 8 family members. I loved the convtof having 2 bathrooms. It was great to have the airport and the Navy base so closely. Another thing that we liked was the free washer and dryer a big help when you travel from far away with a big family. We also loved the full kitchen with a regular size refrigerator, even dish soap was provided! Lastly we were really impressed with the social hour. The meatball sandwich and salad, plus a drink was very appetizing and appreciated! I’ve stayed several times here and in Mexico in a Staybridge and never been disappointed. Thank you!

The room was nice friendly staff. One the of the reasons we booked here was for the pool. There were no pool towels the pool area was dirty with used towels everywhere. When my partnwr went into the pool he noticed a towel in the pool as he was going to grab it and take it out he noticed blood on it and the pool ladder and wall also had blood splattered on it. I didnt have my phone on hand to take pictures The other thing there was dog poop in the all over the parking and sidewalk. Bad pet owners.

The hotel in general and the room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was good. Will stay there again if I’m in the area.

The hotel seemed dirty

Upon check in we noticed the trash can under the sink had not been emptied, the previous guests left clean drying dishes on the counter so we didn’t have any clean towels to dry our own dishes, there was hair in the bathroom shower and we had asked, twice, for our room to be vacuumed while we were out one of the three night stays and it was never vacuumed.

Room was gross. Unclean dishes and utensils, unclean sheets, smell coming from the room. Overall it seems we had a room that hadn’t been used in a while or they cut corners to clean. Also the pull out couch is not a bed - it was springs in a sheet. Thin and extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was nothing special but expectations were low. Hotel needs remodeling and would recommend other option in the area.

I didn't like the stained couch and gross bathroom tile floor. Everything else was great.

Rooms on the lower level on either end of the hotel. Had a musty smell in them like they were flooded. The carpets were wet. I know there was a pool on one end but we were on the other end and the room had a musty damp odor so we had to move to the third floor the next day when they had a open room. Even when leaving and coming going in the side door the musty odor was still in the hallways. They need it the humidifiers in the rooms in the hallways to get rid of that odor. Find out if there's mold buildup

The hotel seemed dirty, everything smelled like cigarette.

When I booked a room I was unaware all the rooms in the hotel are pet friendly. I requested a pet free room. None. We walked into our room and it smelled like cat urine and a heavy perfume trying to coverup the odor. We did get another room. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable and had a dent in the middle. Many other things, the hotel is dated and is in need of major updating.

No extra blankets for pull out. Room was not the cleanest

The staff members were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel rooms need a good deep cleaning. I found a pair of used socks under our bed from a previous guest. Carpet still had food crumbs on it when we arrived. Doors inside the room were hard to close.

Bed was super uncomfortable

It was a little bit of a maze getting to my room, but other than that, it was a very quiet, clean, & comfortable hotel & room. The temperature in the room was super cold, & I couldn’t adjust it. I’d say that was the one downfall. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Great property, clean and comfortable. Only issue is my room had a very loud ac system when it shifted on. Other rooms may be much better! Will stay again.

Loved the place except that we could hear people around us. Someone’s alarm woke us up in the morning and we could hear children crying etc. needs to be sound proof.

This hotel is unusual. We had a great family room with two doubles & 1 queen and 2 bedrooms. However, the mattresses were falling off the platforms, the comforters came out of their covers and the couch and chairs were very dated and squeaky. Breakfast was pretty varied and staff was friendly and helpful. They also have a dinner 3 days a week! The exercise room, pool and community areas were nicer and the outside beautiful. The area was corporate but overall seemed safe.

Heat didn’t work in my hotel, had to sleep in 50 degrees and kept waking up in the middle of the night feeling like crap because of it, ruined my next day

Omg, it’s so bad, they put us on a third floor close to elevators and stairs, so noisy and the walls are so thin and noise all go through from hallway! The pillows are bad, smashed once you lay down. The bed is so small my wife and I can barely turn! Don’t stay here!!

I had a truly wonderful stay at The Sturbridge Suites in Lincolnshire, booked through Expedia. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The entire staff is exceptional, and their dedication to making guests feel at home really stood out. Natalie, the Manager, is outstanding—warm, professional, and always attentive. Her leadership sets the tone for a truly positive environment. The housekeeping team kept everything spotless and were always friendly and respectful. The kitchen staff was also amazing—Sergio is fantastic, and Rosie, who cooks in the evenings, is absolutely wonderful. Her meals are always comforting and delicious, and she brings such a kind, personal touch to every evening. David is another standout—he keeps everything on the property in top-notch shape, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. And I have to give a special shout-out to Ashley, who helped me when I was having computer issues for work. She went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, and her kindness and patience made a big difference during a stressful moment. Thank you to everyone at The Sturbridge Suites for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending this gem to family and friends.

Front desk staff not the friendliest and always had to wait for someone

Had 2 bedroom suite for 4 nights for bootcamp graduation. Hair dryer was missing. We asked 3 times for one and never received. Our room had french fries on desk from previous occupant so rooms are questionable in its cleanliness if that was missed. Two phones in room neither worked. Requested for them to be fixed no one ever came. Husband ran into maintenance man in hallway on third day of trip and he was able to fix one. (He was very helpful and nice). Continental breakfast constantly runs out of hot food with long wait times to get replenished. One day none of us was able to get anything after waiting 15 minutes. Finally left to go to a restaurant.

Extremely helpful and kind people. The front desk, the breakfast & dinner crew, the engineer, the breakfast food choices were all fantastic. The engineer, David(?name)serviced my heating issues in record time. He was very helpful repairing other concerns too. He saw me struggling while checking out. Mr David, went ABOVE & BEYOND to assist me. I witnessed his sincere kindness to other guests too. The graciousness and family environment was very welcoming here. I'll return for a staycation one day soon.

The staff at the front desk are very helpful and accomodates requests like help checking in a little early, free shuttle pick up on weekdays, booking a cab, allowing a car to be dropped off before check in date, friendly staff with a smile all the time.

Everything about this Lincolnshire property was above my expectations. The staff were very professional and friendly. The property was clean and presented a very comfortable environment. I definitely recommend Lincolnshire as a hotel of choice.

Excellent service

The first room they gave us smelled really bad and the phone did not work. The second room was good. Breakfast supposed to start at 730 am but didn’t get things ready till 812 am. My key card kept not working they kept activating it but when I go to use it I was locked out.

We stayed for 2 weeks because my husband was in town for work and they were accommodating and super helpful even with restaurant recommendations! Also someone who worked there came to see if I needed help because I had my hood up checking my oil. Great place to stay!

Very close to grocery stores, restaurants drugstores everything was nearby

The room was clean and well-kept, and all the hallways and public areas were very well maintained. The facility is clean and mostly quiet. It is a little bit of a drive to other amenities like restaurants and grocery stores. It is kind of isolated, which was a little disappointing.

Room and property pretty good - clean. Breakfast was just so so - small space and crowded and food okay. Good location and parking.

The only con was the breakfast powdered eggs salty processed sausages potatoes just weren't good. They do have a kitchen so you can always cook your own breakfast.

Excellent, friendly people. The hotel is very clean. The most important thing is the quality of the breakfast. Also, for those attending the Navy graduation, it's 16 minutes from the Great Lakes

Quiet and safe hotel and good price too.

The 1 bedroom suite is 1 double bed in its own room and 1 double bed in the living room with a pull out sofa - we made it work with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I did smell a cat smell, but I was the only 1 that could. Our room was right next to the stafff from, the laundry and all the service areas, so it was not a quiet stay (room 140). Staff was friendly and breakfast looked good

This was in a great location as it was not too busy and it felt very safe. Our room was very large and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of options both healthy and not. We had plans for six flags as well as in Chicago so this location was a perfect distance from both.

I had no issue with this hotel. The hotel was clean, staff were accommodating and friendly. The only complaint was the breakfast sucks! I usually try to book hotels with decent breakfast to save a buck or two with me and my family of 5 and originally when I looked at reviews it had good reviews. Unfortunately there were not many appetizing options at all. Only one waffle maker, took forever in line to make a waffle…like 30 mins wait because everyone wanted to make one. The batter was overly runny like they watered it down to make it stretch so the waffles didn’t come out right. They were flimsy and flat. No real fruit options, just melon and cantaloupe. Cold microwave sausages. Very bland and watery eggs. They also had like diced breakfast potatoes which were not seasoned, hard, and very under done. The second morning I ended up skipping the breakfast all together and just went to a restaurant. I didn’t expect it to be a full course buffet, but at least for the items they have they could have put more effort into them. Wouldn’t return just because of that, but if breakfast is not on your must have list of amenities then you should have a decent stay here.

Only issue I had was the happy hour. Was not aware it was only on certain days, which they did not have on our stay.

Hotel was nice and clean, however this location has the worst complimentary breakfast ever.., took them forever to bring out the food, there wasn’t much to select from, and rude when asked, if you’re wondering why the 5 star rating it’s due to an error, I meant to choose a 3 star, only because our room was nice clean and cozy..

Our room was very clean, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was perfect for our needs. We were thrilled with the evening offering of a beer or glass of wine too, and a couple nights, they even had a simple little supper buffet that was included in the price of the room.

Hotel was great. A/c got very cold, keot room perfect. The breakfast was phenomenal for a hotel breakfast. Definitely will stay again when we come back.

Breakfast wasn’t that great. Eggs were a little “gritty”. Sausage was a little flavorless. Couldn’t try the potatoes cause there never was any. Staff were nice/polite. Housekeeping never showed to take out our trash or replace our towels even on request, but front desk did replace our towels when we called. Housekeeping just got stuck with extra trash the next day. Overall it was a Good Stay!!

Similar to multiple other hotels in the area, it is clean, convenient and the staff is friendly. The lobby area is quite nice, the breakfast is better than most, and the price is less than its competitors.

Was ok. Nothing great. Location around some good places to eat which was nice. Other guests were loud, running up and down the hall at all hours, kids screaming. Not totally the hotel’s fault but also putting EVERY guest on the same floor is gonna cause issues. Breakfast was subpar. A LOT of people crammed at breakfast blocking the way to everything. One lady was toasting an obscene number of bagels, another guy making waffles on the one waffle maker for his entire floor. Gave up on getting anything to eat.
