Potential guests should first know that this hotel really IS on a hilltop, and it's a steep climb. It is, however, located on a busy road and surrounded by a bustling urban neighborhood. You are advised to drive to the small commercial outlets at the bottom of the hill, as walking back up the hill could be a bit daunting. This is a low-rise hotel and the ample parking lot allows guests to park next to their units. The best feature, however, may be the relatively low cost--no small consideration in the New York City area.

the property is outdated, there are no modern (usb, etc) connections. the TV system is also old, the furniture is old. but for the price its a good deal. the AC works well, the staff is not bothersome, the place is quiet except for the occasional ghetto clients that want to spend all day with their kids in front of property. there are 2 ice machines but only one works. the property is on a hill, hence the name. so walking to the local stores is a hike. as far as ECO, i dont know hot that applies to this property. overall , I have been to the place several times and for the price , with the location it is a bargain.

Though extremely antiquated & dark the staff was on point. A place just to lay your head, nothing fancy. Elevator is the size of a phone booth. Pool closed & no ice machine on 3rd floor.

The hotel was very disgusting. It was dirty and I couldn’t sleep because the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The walls are dirty and the whole hotel has an erie feeling. Parking was limited and it should’ve cost less than what they charged. The furniture and bathroom was extremely deplorable. This was the worse experience I ever had staying at a hotel. Thank God I had a guy family member because I would not have felt safe. Terrible experience and I wish I could give it zero star.

The room smelled of cigarettes when we first arrived, and the room musty. The AC unit was not set correctly, and I checked the filter. It had NEVER been cleaned. There was a 1/4 inch thick dust. I took it down to get cleaned, they told me to bring it back up and give to a cleaner! The bathroom was tiny and the toilet paper roll was almost empty, and the replacement roll was only 1/2 a roll and there were no others. We travel to visit family and won't stay here again.

Conditions very poor. Room was in terribly Condition. To hold the Hilton Label retires a basic standard. Not even a welcome upon arriving. Smoke smell room. Dirty entrance, elevator, hallways, vending, all in disarray. Rooms, bedding old and worn Bathroom smoked stained. Broken windows on the room. AC units that made so much noise...how can anyone sleep. Seriously disappointed

This property looks good online but is an old place and not well kept inside the rooms. There was debris all over the floor as soon as you walked in. They were dirty towels with brown marks hanging all over the shower. As well there was someone else's food left in the fridge. Obviously place has not been cleaned or disinfected to say the very least. The room smelled stale and the odor didn't really go away. We complained about it but to no avail. Never staying here again as they only have a cleaning lady until 2: 00pm everyday after that everyone's on their own. And the continental breakfast was disgusting like it came from a convenience store and the coffee machine didn't even work. Go somewhere else.

We can’t believe the status of this place. Dead bugs. Roaches at that smh. I can’t I can’t believe Expedia gave us this place I can’t. I’m disgusted. We didn’t even stay. It’s gross. So nasty. They didn’t even have our reservations and Expedia won’t do anything about it!!

The hotel was dirty the dresser and chairs needed to be cleaned. The only thing that was clean was the bathroom, you could tell it had been remodeled it looked like it didn’t belong in the room and the sheets were cleaned.

I like the room. It was big and spacious. Everything worked. It was cool. Air conditioning was good could open the window. It was in a quiet neighborhood by itself. The price was right I would only have liked a more expansive breakfast.

Convenience store and dominos were close enough to walk and get food/snacks. The room smelled like dust and tobacco. The door needed to be slammed in order to close correctly. Walls were thin enough to hear conversations from next door. Cleaning staff came in while I was away and threw away part of a toy I bought for my little brother. Key card stopped working when I got back late at night so I had to ask for it to be fixed. Beds were clean and nicely made. Outlets worked well, TV was small but nice and wifi worked well.

Location was most important. The room was fine, but constant noise from next door was awful. I would not stay here as a single woman traveling alone. They said breakfast, but just a few muffins. It was fine for the one night of sleeping we needed next to our daughter’s apartment

I have been to this property quite a few times because the rates are reasonable as compared to the nearby hotels. but you get what you pay for. Its an old property with old furniture, old beds , old televisions and very old linen. its not a Hilton and its not trying to be. recently I see more and more homeless, wandering children and thugs in attendance. ( thug - a male or female with pants down, a tight shirt or wife beater, an angry expression and smoking weed) they usually spend more time sitting outside the hotel than in the room. the staff is very helpful and professional. there is a lot of effort to keep the place clean.

We were given a wrong room key to another room that was occupied.We were embarrased when we used abd have to appologize to the people there The place smellled like marihuana all over They were people going ulp and down hallwats the whole night making noises a d was impossible to sleep there.This was an awful experience

Left a pair of AirPods on the desk. We called back to claim them and they said that they were not found at all. Meanwhile, I specifically remember leaving them on the table where the coffee maker is. This is not the first time that I’ve left something there and they claim that.” cannot find it.” Housekeeping is keeping items and not returning them to the proper owners.

It was smelly and dingy. The 1st floor was like going to a dungeon. Felt unsafe driving into the property entrance the location in on an incline on a busy road. The reception announced my rm number loudly and my info with someone next to me. I liked leaving there.

The property is run down & needs a lot of work! The area is in the cut and you must pay attn if you are going to find it! The bed creaked but was comfy once in! The TV is small! No rugs in the room! Just a cheap spot for the amount we paid!

The property is in a decent area but the property was run down, undergowing construction and there was dust everywhere. Also the continental breakfast was very disapointing. Not worth the money they charge for a room.

The rooms were dingy and had an odd odor I could not place. The sheets and towels were clean but the nightstand was turning black. Also, the bathroom door would not stay closed. However the heater worked great and the breakfast was ok.

While the front desk was friendly the property itself was not appealing. The hallway carpet was dirty and tattered. The room was clean. The breakfast options were very limited. It would have been nice to be offered some form of protein other than yogurt. Over all it was an okay place but I’m glad I only had to stsyb2 nights

No protein at breakfast. That is my biggest complaint. At the least they could have had peanut butter or hard boiled eggs. Only apples for fruit. Other than that, limited cereal, plenty of yogurt, bagels, bread, and muffins. Good choices for juice.
