We have stayed at a number of Holiday Inn Express Hotels. This one was not as good as the others. I do have to say that the staff of the hotel were very nice--no complaints there. But there were some issues.... The exit stairwell nearest our room was blocked with caution tape--we inquired about it and was told it was blocked due to painting, and the hotel is being remodeled. There didn't seem to be much concern regarding the stairwell being blocked---If there was an emergency we would have to go to the other side of the hotel to exit. I understand the need to keep the guests and staff safe during remodeling, but this just did not sit well with me. The breakfast was mediocre at best-- I get that it's free, but it was not nearly up to the standards we have had at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. Our room had a towel laying under the bathroom vanity that had obviously been there awhile. Would I recommend this hotel?,..probably not. Especially since there was another hotel right beside it that was much better. We chose this Holiday Inn Express for the price--but the savings was not worth it.

The check-in and checkout were handled very professionally. The entire premises were immaculate, including the lobby, breakfast bar, and hotel room. The manager was very pleasant, and Anthony, who handled the breakfast - was wonderful in presenting a very clean eating area..I would recommend this Holiday Inn.

We were in town for a 5 day workshop so the hotel was a clean, comfortable hotel. The staff was wonderful. The woman at the desk sent the cleaners in daily and kept our bed smooth and the room and bathroom beautifully clean
