Well first we were told that each room had a microwave and mini fridge. Ours didnt have a microwave. That is after we had to change rooms because we were put on the second floor and packed all our luggage on the cart, the woman watched us do it and then told us there was no elevator. What would they have done if one of us was in a wheelchair and they couldnt accommodate us on the first floor. Not being handicap accessible is illegal. My friend that came has a bad knee and would not have been able to drag her bag up those steps. Then we were limited on how much ice and food we could have for our "breakfast"

Check in was easy but after that everything went downhill. There’s no elevator. The hallway was filled with debris. Our room was ok- found a sock behind a chair that wasn’t ours. Vinyl flooring was new but we figured housecleaning just swept out each room into hallway but no one vacuumed it up. Towels were absolutely pathetic! They were the size of the floor mat and threadbare. They couldn’t even wrap around your body. The roller in rm 216 was a 1/4 inch from the door closing. So you enter the bathroom, close the door and hope it doesn’t hit the toilet. Breakfast was a joke! First morning was tiny hostess coffee cakes. Then packs of mini donuts were offered. If they ran out they ran out. All in all we wished we would have paid the extra money to stay at the other hotel in Hanover. At $90 per night I would expect a decent breakfast of cereal , pastries and juice or coffee. I would also expect to have decent towels that are towel size and clean hallways. Stay at the other hotel.

The pictures were not of what the hotel was. It was dingy dirty, and smelled. They did have a sign that said that they were upgrading and everything side doors to the hotel didn’t work.

Hotel floor did not look like a sweeper has seen it for awhile. The rooms bathroom sink had hair all over it and not from your head. Bathroom floor was covered in hair. Stayed mid December so temps were 20's. Checked in alittle after midnight and the rooms window was open! Took over an hour to heat up enough to take our coats off. $125 /night was insane! Should be charging no more than 85 / night for the conditions.

Late check in due to long drive. Front desk was friendly. Upon check in I noticed my shoes sticking to any hard floor as well as stale cigarette smoke and mold.I ventured to the tub to take a shower to a visible spill on the bathroom floor, black dirty bottom of the tub as well as the tub drain parts. I called my travel companions across the hall on their state of room, maybe I can shower there, to be informed of an unwelcomed guest, a cockroach. I decided to skip the shower and take one at home the next day. I went to turn on the bedside light and noticed what appeared to be fecal matter on the shade of the wall sconce. I barely slept due to the flying bugs and the thought of cockroaches. I left promptly in the morning and avoided their free breakfast- I can only imagine. I “slept” with a beach towel and threw it away upon leaving. I didn’t open any bags and kept them up. This place needs a gutting. I was so disgusted and exhausted to call- if there were bugs here and in another room. What better option could the provide?

While a non smoking facility, the inside reeked of cigarette smoke. The bedding did not but the carpet and curtains inside the room did. I had to purchase febreeze and spray the room which helped.

I found a roach crawling on the wall in my room by the fridge. I mentioned this to the manager who didn’t seem to care that much. For paying 100 for a room this was very disappointing

Roaches everywhere. I found a couple dead ones under the stained bench, then noticed 2 babies. Then as I was packing up to leave, saw large live one running on the stand near my pillow. The employee was great, and helped us get a refund easily. I just was very grossed out at the amount of bugs I saw. I also noticed the fridge had crumbs and hairs in it. Hairs all over the toilet seat. I don’t think the rooms are actually routinely cleaned. I just wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. We left and got a hotel in Gettysburg. I was able to submit pictures thru expedia and hotel did approve refund quickly. The front desk lady was awesome and helpful though.

The hallway was missing the woodwork. It appeared they might be upgrading, but nothing told us that when we made the reservations or checked in. Our bathroom had plaster smeared on the upper wall and ceiling. The door to the bathroom hit the toilet when you closed it. There were no towel holders on the wall by the sink or soap plates to sit your used hand soap on. There was no foldout stand for our suitcase to sit on. The comfy chair in our room was filthy. I took the bedspread off the bed and covered the chair so that we could sit on it. We will not not stay at this motel again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Minor issues were that the room and hall seemed dark. Another lamp in the room would be helpful. No microwave in room. Satellite tv kept freezing and shutting down (not bad weather). These minor things did not take away from the pleasurable stay.

people in other rooms were noisy. do not get a 1st floor room. concrete is cracked on second floor floors and will keep you up all night. i had to switch rooms after 15 minutes.

When we initially checked into the room there was a weird odor in the room which I couldn't put my finger on. It wasn't the smell of bleach or cleaning solutions. And then the next morning at approximately 9:00am house cleaning was banging on various doors hollering 'Housekeeping!' When checkout wasn't until 11:00 and unfortunately we had been up late the night before so I wasn't too happy about getting woken up aboyt an hour before our alarm. Otherwise, staff was very nice and for the most part it was an okay experience for one night. Our headboard backed up to the room next to us that obviously had the TV mounted to it.

Staff at the property works hard and tries to fulfill guest requests the best possible. They’re genuinely nice and let us stay in the lobby after check out time. Good quality wifi and free parking with CCTV coverage. The only amenity I’d really suggest and may be most clientele won’t need is the fitness center (one treadmill and some dumbbells would do!). Thanks everyone at the property for a pleasant 5 nights stay.

I paid through Expedia, but was also charged again for the room when I checked in. When I realized it, I brought it to their attention and they reversed the charges, but it will take several days to show the credit. I’m hoping it’s not going to be a hassle and it was just an honest mistake.

I want to recognize Manager Christina Reese for her compassion and attention to the needs of my two elderly sisters that I was traveling with this past weekend. She moved us to easily accessible rooms and changed a king bed to a room with 2 queens which made our stay much more comfortable. She made all the adjustments pleasantly, quickly & quietly so my sisters did not even realize they were taking place. Many thanks, Lisa D

I stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham Hanover from 5.2.25 to 5.18.25 while in town attending to personal matters. During my visit, I was extremely impressed with the hospitality, professionalism, and genuine friendliness of the entire staff. Starting from the manager, Christine, to her outstanding front desk team of Ash, Debbie, Kristy, Marissa and Tracee, and the terrific housekeepers Michelle and Mary, the entire staff made my visit extremely pleasant and memorable. I am sure that there are several other support staff members who I never met by name, but shout out to them as well because running a hotel is a team effort, and the Super 8 by Wyndham Hanover has a phenomenal team. I expect to be visiting Hanover 1-2 weekends/month for the foreseeable future, and I would not consider staying at any other hotel in the area. 10 out of 5 stars.

A friend and I were in Hanover to see a comedy show. This hotel was adequate for a one night stay when we really only needed a place to sleep. It was difficult booking an Uber on a Sunday afternoon to go from the hotel to downtown Hanover. On the way back, we gave up on Uber and walked the 2 miles. It was an easy and safe walk.

The only good thing I have to say it was cheap and clean. Breakfast was terrible. No hot food except instant oatmeal. Coffee ran out on both mornings. No yogurt on Sunday morning. No washcloth in room when we arrived. No coffee maker nor microwave in the room. Smoke detedctor went off when heat was turned on.

Desk Staff were smiling cheerful and helpful. Both morning and evening shifts . Breakfast was fine. Paper goods would be better than styrofoam. Coffe was good , love the waffle maker . Slight smell of cigarettes in the room and hallways.

The hotel is looking shabby, baseboards missing in hallways, marks on walls, bathrooms need to be updated. No breakfast is offered anymore even though it's adverised, they only had pre packaged donettes from hostess brand and coffee. Good side - bed was comfy.

do not plan on the "free breakfast" unless breakfast is usually cold cereal. No eggs, no bacon/sausage. They did have waffle iron.
