Pool closed Fitness room closed Couldn’t call that a breakfast, even for a regular hotel Lukewarm coffee

The hotel was clean and the room was tidy. The indoor pool was open and being used. The exercise room was being used as a storage room. The computer in the lobby had no printer and the one at the front desk was out of ink, so we could not print something out we needed.The free breakfast was very limited and poor quality. Milk ran out 30 minutes before breakfast was over. There was no fruit, no yogurt, no rolls or donuts and nothing to spread on the bread except butter. No eggs, no sausage or bacon. It was not a case of food running out. It simply was not provided. There was a waffle maker with lo-sugar syrup. The best thing about the breakfast was the granola bars. Considering that there are 6 other chain hotels next door and across the road, at various price points, next time We visit Clinton we will stay at a different hotel.

Just found out they billed my credit card for use of safe, I did not use. They took charge off final bill given to me at checkout, but still billed separately to my card. Swimming pool not heated, was too cold to enjoy. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work, otherwise room was okay. Paperwork said check in at 2:00 pm, also sign in lobby shows 2:00 pm. But was told it is not until 3:00 pm and had to wait. Smoking area is right outside main entrance so you walk into smoke every time entering or leaving. Breakfast is only waffles & muffins.

Friendly staff. Rooms not as clean as they could be. No fitness room as advertised. The pool was freezing. We finally noticed that they were turning the heaters off. Other wise ok

I can't believe Wyndham has their name tied to this place. Cockroaches, stains on linens and towels. Workout facility might as well not exist because it remained closed. They closed the indoor pool hours earlier because of I'm assuming the rain outside and it did open back up the next morning but it was ice cold and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be heated. People illegally parking in-between handicapped parking spots. Booked for 5 ppl in the suite and only had 2 towels 2 wash cloths and 1 bath mat and was never able to get more because they said they were out. Our room door would not latch when closed so anyone at anytime could push on it and walk right in. Highly disappointed in this place. Won't let me upload photos I have but not surprised at this point

The housekeepers didn’t check cabinets or inside the hide-a- bed so there was old food in both. Contacted the front desk they switch us rooms, new room had no food, but hair in the shower. Pool area looked like it was being remodeled and then they gave up. The ceiling was missing in places and the pool floor looked like they tried to clean it and stopped. Ceiling leaking in the stairwells. Hallway on 3rd floor smelt like cat urine. Honestly not happy

Our room, bed, was very good and met our needs. A major reason we returned to stay this visit was the heated pool we enjoyed with our grandchildren. The heater was broken and it didn't appear there was any rush to get it fixed. Although people were careful to follow the distancing for smoking, there was often strong smoke odor at the entrance.

The rooms are tun down, refrigator in one room leaked and needed to be deforsted. The air dail in one of the rooms did not opprate. The carpet in room 303 was dirty and smelled of vomit. the cleaning staff was rude when we asked for towel replacement after two days. The ice meachine was dirty. the pool was not avaiable and we specifally pikced the hotle for the pool access, even vaified it was available with staff prior to booking. Charged two different room rates. Should have been offered the suite so family could stay together. The breakfast selection was limited. the microwave was in much need of cleaning. Staff smoked just outsode of the entrance doors. One employee was drinking out by the dunpester. Did not feel safe. Will nit be rebooking, EVER!!!

Absolutely filthy. Months of filth build up. Horrible smell. By far the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been in. We left immediately.

Hotel had cockroaches and was clearly dirty. Was in the room for about 15 minutes and saw 4 different cockroaches and saw wrappers for blue chew stuck in the wall ac unit along with a bunch of dirt. We told the lady at the front desk and she didn’t act surprised about it. Asked for a refund and stayed at a holiday inn express which was way way better. Would recommend you stay away from this one. Cheaper is not always better.

Worse room we stayed in for cleanliness. It was totally disgustng. Hot water in shower was only hot for less than a minute then went cold. Smelled like pee. Dripping gooie stuff on the ceiling. Caked in gum and other disgusting stuff in the carpet. Mold growing on curtains. Food crumbs everywhere, including around the bed. Even had an Elf on a shelf hidden underneath the bed. The breakfast was only waffles or toast, not a thing else, except orange juice and some stale looking cereal. The main reason we stayed there was the indoor pool, which was closed for cleaning, which was a laugh, as the whole hotel should of been closed for cleaning, or destroyed due to how nasty the whole place was. Will never stay there or any other Baymont hotels.

Room was clean enough except for the black mold all around the windows, bath drain, etc. The room smelled horribly of mildew coming from ac/heat unit. Toilet paper roll holder came off in my hand first time using it. It’s s as metal holder and could use a little glue to hold in place yo keep someone from getting hurt. Bed was very firm and pillows way too soft it took two stacking to make one. This was room 229. Wasn’t made aware of breakfast being served upon arrival and found out upon leaving. Would never stay again. Husband booked it because of price. Lesson learned. I’ll be doing that from now on!

Stay away!! Cockroaches in the rooms, mould in the air conditioner! Absolutely gross conditions!!

We found 2 bed bugs as we were packing up to leave.

When we arrived at our hotel room it had poop on the toilet seat. And there was blood all over 2 of the towels that were in the bathroom. Probably one of the nastiest hotels I've ever stayed in. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Room smelled strongly of animal urine and there were stains on sheets.

When we arrived in our room, there were dirty (feminine hygiene products) next to the bed, our sheets looked filthy and stained, the bathroom toilet had mold all on the inside, our door wouldn’t lock so the hotel key was practically uselesss and the tv kept going out every few minutes. It was just a very poor stay over all. Gym was down , breakfast had 2 options

Toilet was loose from the floor, mold was present on shower curtain and bathroom surfaces, tv did not work, bed sheets looked like they had been slept in, coffee pot was unclean, carpet was stained, there was only one coffee cup left in the room, the desk chair was broken, door did not close and lock without manually pulling on it, the arm chair was stained, and the window ac unit did not cool .down property and mold is present on the vents. The room was unclean and not suitable or safe for occupancy.

There was nothing to not like about this place especially given the price. I paid a few extra bucks for the King suite which was surprisingly roomy. The room itself was clean and comfortable and furnished like a suite. What a deal.

The walls are paper thin and I could hear the TV from the neighbor during the night. His dog would also bark and wake us up. We were expecting a decent breakfast.. nope. Cold cereal or waffles. There were some bruised apples available. We were there for three nights and had to use the same towels and wash rags all three days due to 'going green'. Up side: check in and out were super easy.

room heat wouldn't go above 66 degrees.

Staff is very courteous and friendly. There was no hair dryer in the room but when I asked, they immediately gave me one. Connecting to the WiFi is terrible. If you can connect, the speed is very slow. Fruit, oatmeal, or yogurt would be nice at the breakfast bar.

I booked this hotel room 3 months ago for my daughter’s graduation. Upon arrival, my key card would not work in my door. I had to go down and get them coated. The room smelled horrible. The toilet paper holder was not attached to the counter so that when my daughter went to pull the toilet paper it ripped off and fell on the floor. There were big stains in the carpet. The TV did not work. The hallway had no air-conditioning in it and was super hot. The vent in the bathroom did not work so you had to take a shower with the door open. I stayed for four nights. The staff informed me that during my stay my room would not be cleaned. There was two towels and two wash rags in the room when I got there, I asked the maid The third we were there if we could exchange our towels and wash rice and get clean ones. He stated that he did not do that and I would have to go to the front. There was also only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom so I had to go down and get a new roll every day cause they only gave me one at a

Employee was nice but lots of issues getting into the room, and possible bedbugs. Took 10+ mins to check-in with an online reservation. Got to the room and the key wouldn't work. Went back down to the office and they "fixed" it, but the door still wouldn't open with the key. Went back down and got assigned a new room. Repeat same scenario. Went back down for the 4th time and was assigned a new room again, 3 different rooms now. Still wouldn't work. Went back down for the 5th time and finally the employee came up and unlocked the door herself with a master key. She said they had been having issies all day. She was nice but I felt the situation should have been handled differently considering she knew there had been ongoing issues. She should have just came up and unlocked the door the first time it didn't work instead of making us go back down 5 times. It was 1am and we had a child with us, we needed to get to bed asap. My family has some sort of red itchy bumps now and believe we could have gotten bedbug bites from this place.

Phone did not work and there was an odd smell in the room.

It’s good for 1 night because it’s convenient, easy access off I75. But rooms are mediocre, found hairs in the bed on the sheets, not the cleanest place, linens are worn down and stained. Old worn and stained chair in the room, this hotel needs a refurbish.

Cody at the front desk was exceptionally kind and great to deal with at check in and check out.

The first poor impression is that I had to wait on the front desk clerk to put out his cigarette to check me in. My friend was competing in a competition in the area. He was going to stay with family, but get ready in the hotel room with me since we were riding together. I checked in, took a luggage cart to my room, and the hotel clerk called me two different times within ten minutes of me getting to my room to bring it back down to the lobby. I had just driven three and a half hours and needed a moment. I immediately took the cart downstairs. He could not have been more rude. He accused me of lying about the number of people staying in the room. He said he was going to charge me for my friend being in the room. I told him he wasn't staying the night, we were getting ready together, but I was happy to pay the charge. Fast forward to later that night, my significant other ended up coming to the competition as well. He ended up staying the hotel room with me. Which should have been fine since I was more than willing to pay the extra charge. My friend forgot their bag in my room so at 1:00 am, my friend couldn't get ahold of me, he asked the desk clerk for a key, and the desk clerk gave him a key to my room with no identification required. He threatened to kick us out for my friend stopping to get their bag. The front desk clerk could not have been any more hateful, rude, and combative. As someone that works for a hotel, I cannot imagine ever exhibiting this behavior.

Nice stay, friendly staff, and management. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room was clean and there were several places to eat in the area to include a Walmart across the street. There was a tiny indoor pool but the workout room was not available. The breakfast was very small and could use more items. There was basically the waffle, cereal, and some granola type bars - that was it. I would have liked to have seen some fruit, yogurt, and possibly some bagels/cream cheese. This would of been some healthier options. The front desk made all the difference for us though. My husband was working and we did not know what day that we would be leaving and she made it where we could use the same room each day without moving until we found out each day. It means a lot when the hotel and the staff are there for you. I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again.

Staff member seemed high and struggled to check me in. Took three sets of keys to get into the room. We are non smokers and didn’t like people standing right in front of doors smoking when entering the foyer. Front desk didn’t care. Very lazy with the exception of the handyman. He seemed to work nonstop.

The clerk at check-in was unfriendly. She and several others spent the majority of the time in a circle of chairs out front smoking and chatting. The TV required two remotes, and you had to go into the settings to get it on cable every time you turned it on. Breakfast was nothing but sugary pastries and yogurt. Nothing hot was provided. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet room.

I Was Excited Because This Was The First Time To Stray At a Baymont. The Freezer Was Dirty, Told The Front Desk, Said They Would Come And Clean It Up, NEVER Did. Room Was NOT That Clean. Thought We Had Left a Personal Item Behind, CALLED & CALLED & CALLED & CALLED, Sent An email, NO RESPONSE From Anyone. LOUSY SERVICE.

Staff walked into room without knocking, unlocking slide lock and door lock. Continued into room even though he saw it was occupied. Wanted access to the bathroom where my child was showering. Management had sent him to the wrong room. Corporate fine with hotel apologizing supposedly by email, which didnt happen. Refused refund

I don’t understand how this hotel has such bad reviews. Upon checking in we were greeted by Tiffany who gave us the best customer service we probably ever had. We were booked at another hotel for the weekend but because of the awesome customer service we had decided to stay here for the rest of our stay. Everyone that worked there was phenomenal and we will be back.

We checked in the hotel for a family getaway which was good. However, I had a knock on my door that night by a man in a pink shirt (not in a uniform) stating he had a call that there was weird noises from my room. My son and I was in the room and was watching a Disney movie. Later on saw the same man in a uniform. At 3am the alarm in the room next to me went off playing loud music and woke me up, had to turn the AC unit on to try to drown out the noise and froze my son. Told the front desk and nothing was done about it. Came back to the hotel to my key not working, went to the from desk and was given new keys that still did not work. The lady at the front desk opened my room with an actual key and was told i will get new keys that will work. I waited and waited and finally left my room to go out and stopped at the desk and the manager Cody had an attitude as if i was bothering him about being able to get in my room and handed me his master key to make sure i get in my room (which didnt work) . He didnt know who i was and gave me a key to open any room was CRAZY!! The man who knocked at my door the other night came and looked at my door and said the door needed new batteries and he would be back to change those and never did. That same night, people was checked into the room next me and heard lots of crying as if they was sitting next to me. My stay was soooo horrible and i let Cody know and nothing was even said or done. I will never stay here again.

It was fine for a one night stay…close to I 75 and restaurants. Good value for money.

For the price, awesome place to stay. Secure entry and quiet property considering so close to the interstate.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Baymont front desk was polite and attentive. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The only reason I gave this hotel for was my room was just a little beat up but nothing to keep me from staying there again. Carpet was ripped up a little bit by the front door, I had to mess around with the TV to get it working and the knobs on the air conditioning unit were broken. For the price I definitely would recommend this hotel

Just stopped over half way through a long drive. The lady at the front desk was nice. The hotel is very close to I-75 with plenty of food and fuel choices. The stay was fine at a very good price.

Convenient to the express way. Not far from the Neyland Stadium. Safe area.

Room had an odor. Possibly a dog friendly room? Found a pair of socks under the desk in the room from previous occupant. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants close by.

Great overall stay. The room/bed was really comfortable. The only negative is the breakfast; no protein available. They had waffles, bread, nutrigrain bars and cereal. **Golden Girls restaurant is only two blocks away and they have great food (breakfast served all day) and even better prices! Also, if you like to exercise go to Southern Fitness (less than a half mile away) and they only charge $5 per day to workout or $15 dollars for a week pass.

Lobby felt dark and unwelcoming. Visible damage from elevator to pool to the room itself. Shower rod was hanging on for dear life. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was a joke. We were down by 7:00 am (opened at 6:30). There were a few pieces of bread, a few cereal bars and a pitcher of milk. Pitiful excuse for continental breakfast when you paid nearly $200/night.

Room was soo dirty. BOTH tvs were broken- screens were whited out. WiFi wouldn’t connect on any device. Couch was so covered in stains that we wouldn’t sit on it. “Breakfast” was non-existent. No muffins, pastries,, bagels, fruit, yogurts, eggs, etc. Literally it was a waffle iron and some Nutrigrain bars. Apple juice was out. Absolute worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Front desk was very welcoming. Room clean, quiet and comfortable. Free breakfast horrible (white bread, waffles, orange juice and apple).

The first room smelled awful. The second room was better but had stained pillow cases and the mini fridge was not even useable. The room had windows that opened out to a very nasty rooftop area. Employees were hanging around just outside of the building smoking which was blowing smoke back in the building. They had the WORST breakfast selection ever. There was no fresh fruit. No meat or eggs. Fruit loops, white bread or make your own waffle. Awful

Stinky & sticky. Poor breakfast. No one refilled the coffee for the crowd that was sitting there and very slim picking on food selection.
