Called property specifically to get a room with hot tub available and functioning we were assured everything was good. . It was not both available hot tubs were ice cold and not functioning.

The hotel is under construction, which is fine, but it would have been nice to know the spa area was out of service. We would have stayed elsewhere. We also had to be moved due to ants in one of the beds. People are clearly smoking in the rooms and it was dirty throughout the building. Not at all what I would expect from this level of hotel.

Hotel was under major construction. Parking limited due to construction. Just kind of a mess at the moment. Would have liked to have known about construction before booking stay. Room was clean but we did notice someone had either thrown or spilled coffee all down the wall next to microwave and it was not wiped down. 😳 Safety Concern: We arrived Christmas Eve late night after checking in and finding parking we used the back entrance which was unlocked and open. Gives anyone access right to elevators. We wont stay at Hampton Suites Barstow again.

The property was very nice. Was sorry the spa was out of order and the waffles in the breakfast bar was out of order. Also the water in the pitcher in the lobby wasn’t kept filled and the coffee in the lobby coffee dispenser was also cold in the evening

Huge disappointment … the hot tub was out of service. This feels like a repair that should be handled immediately. People driving through Barstow are driving far distances and need a hot tub to soak in. It should be repaired immediately.

This property is undergoing renovation and has been for some time. There is very little parking because of storage containers all around it. It should be closed for construction, or at least far more reduced rates. I would not recommend it at least until 2025. Project seems to be moving slowly.

Handicap accessible room didn’t have help bar near toilet. Automatic light in bathroom would continually go out while showering, so had to keep waving arm outside shower curtain to get light to turn on again. Carpet was filthy and obviously not vacuumed during service. Otherwise, room was clean. Heating unit noisy while operating. Breakfast was good.

We stayed in room 215. Upon arrival, the room smelled like wet dog, carpet stained and bathroom floor had not been cleaned We were exhausted and did not complain as the hotel looked like it was being renovated. With that said, the breakfast was delicious and service was good.

Breakfast was acceptable. Hotel under construction for the last week and didn't warn us. Just a note in the elevator. Found live bugs in the room. Guy at front desk just smiled and said he would tell maintenance. No lights in parking area. I would not recommend this place.

Although the location is remodelling (outside first), the hotel is a mess also on the inside. My room was really dusty. Not from the renovationworks, but from cutting corners in cleaning for a long time. Curtains were torn. And as a bonus we found a hige roach in the breakfast-area.. This should not be a Hampton Inn,

The hotel make no mention that it has many containers in parking lot and is remodeling. Room smelled of glue. TV had to be set up. Internet was unavailable. No fan in bathroom.

The 2 queen beds suite was spacious and comfortable. Perfect for our group of 4. I like that the property is away from a lot of the other hotels, yet convenient to everything. Currently (8/24) undergoing some renovations, but it was not bothersome. I will stay again when in Barstow.

This property is very dated and needs interior upgrading for the price. The Motel 6 across the highway 15 at a fraction of the cost has nicer more up to date rooms.

Pet friendly is a plus for us. Only complaint was AC was quite noisy, needs to be looked at. Couldn’t find anyone when leaving to report it. Breakfast area was nice and well stocked.

I liked that the property was clean and comfortable. I did not like the fact that to get access to the free Wi-Fi you have to sign up for their loyalty plan. Then even after doing that it wasn’t very good, dropping the connection after an hour or so.

The staff was very accommodating due to changing our room. Our assigned room was next to a little yapping dog that never settled down. Upon request we were immediately given a new room and an apology. Beds are comfortable and the room very clean.

They are currently renovating and have scaffolding on the front of the building; I was uncomfortable with a room that would potentially have someone working right outside the window in the morning. The woman who checked me in went out of her way to walk around the building to determine which room had a window that wasn't 'exposed' for me to switch to; that's hospitality!

Room was very nice. Breakfast was very nice. Only complaint is we got there at 4:45. I don't know if they were short on staff, but did not get into room until 6:30. Otherwise, highly recommended.

We rolled in after a very long day of traveling. I was welcomed by Kimberly. Check in was easy. The hotel in undergoing a renovation, but don\'t let that discourage you, even with the construction the facilities are clean. We went to our room and it was a cool 84 degrees. Ouch.I asked Kimberly about it and she came up to see if she could fix it. She ultimately decided to have us go to a different room. She said "I went to the other room, the a/c is running, it\'s nice and cool and ready for you". She was so kind and so professional. We were so grateful to rest our tired heads in a cool room. Thank you, Kimberly for all of your help and kindness.

Had to wait to check in because the front desk staff was elsewhere. No biggy. But after about ten minutes they did show up but refused to speak to me until they had tapped away at the computer for at least three or four more minutes. Didn\'t even acknowledge my, "Hello, how are you today?"Once they did deign to acknowledge my existence the lady made it quite clear she would rather I not be bothering her with stupid things like checking into my room. Needless to say I felt unwelcome from the moment I arrived. The lady who managed the breakfast though was very kind and friendly though. Maybe they should swap places with the front desk clerk.

I was traveling home to Sacramento from Flagstaff, and I was tired from the long drive, so I was ready for a rest. Your staff members were very friendly, my room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent doth in quality and choices. WE CAME LATE TO THE PARTY AT BREAKFAST TIME. I THINK YOUR OFFERINGS ARE A BIT OVERWHELMING AND VERY SWEET. MAYBE MORE FRESH FUIT, PLAIN YOGURT AND HONEY AND WHEATIES. INSTEAD OF SO MUCH SUGAR

This hotel would have score much higher. But it was going through some major remodeling. Overall it was a better than average place,but the remodeling impacted ease of parking and and moving around the site. It would have helped if they had let us know of the remodeling. That being said, staff worked hard and we helpful. The breakfast was quite nice and was definitely better than most free breakfasts. Kudos to the management for their support and all staff were a pleasure to work with.

The hotel is undergoing a renovation, so there was construction equipment in the parking lot, but it didn’t detract from our stay. The breakfast was very nice, also an option to get a to-go breakfast bag. Lots of shopping next door (outlet stores), and plenty of places to eat nearby.
