Parking was sufficient and the lot was modestly full. Check in took a long time; not sure why. Service was adequate. Breakfast was not great, and would run out. The hotel has clearly had some updates over time, so portions are good. Our living space was sufficient and clean. Had a small closet and an iron and board. Lighting was good and TV worked well. The curtains were nice and dark. Vending machines in the hallway and ice machine were easily accessible. The bathroom was a problem. There was water damage in the ceiling, burn marks on the wall over the sink, and it smelled (water damage smell). Thankfully, by closing the door to the bathroom and running the exhaust fan we were able to cut down on the smell in the bedroom. Really not sure why they are renting the room before addressing this, unless the damage is ongoing. Overall, the next time I am in town, I will look for a different option.

A mixed bag. So I will say that this place does have potential. When my wife and I got to our room it smelled like smoke and weed. I informed the front desk and was given a new room. We did have some issues with the new room. We had trouble with the a/c unit but that was taken care of by the front desk clerk. Then when we tried to pull down the shade the whole thing came down and we had to have staff come fix the shade and put it back above the window. The bathroom smelled like stale urine. The water pressure from the shower was nonexistent! It was difficult to shower with such low water pressure. That is a problem. The railing on the steps in the stairwell was sticky. Breakfast also could have been a lot better. There was bare bones for food. Limited options for choices. They had a waffle machine which I used but the waffle tasted like there was not much to it. There was juice and pieces of toast and yogurt. That said the positives was that our second room was cleaner. The staff were very nice and helped us changes rooms. The hallway floors looked new and they were clean. This place used to be a super 8 apparently. I feel that this place has potential. I’m hoping this review helps and things get better.
