The room is spacious and clean, check-in was fast and the concierge staff were helpful but lack of common knowledge. The swimming pool is nice and enjoyable. Lots of varieties in the Breakfast buffet spread. A comfortable stay really.

Overall really good. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was massive and affordable. Very clean. Only disappointing thing is the wifi is dreadful. Worked initially then stopped working altogether. Got staff to help but still didn’t work

Definitely a high end busy international hotel. Common spaces are grand and well kept. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. The main issue is that the rooms are definitely in need of refurbishment. No doubt they were beautiful 15 years ago, but they show too much wear. Way too much caulk smeared over every crack in the bathrooms and chipped and old furniture, and worn carpets. Tip: 15 minute walk to East train station area to huge shopping mall with endless restaurants and largest grocery store I’ve ever seen.

My room was upgraded with a view of the city and very roomy. The housekeeper did a good job every day. Staff were all friendly. The breakfast was decent but could be better with more varieties. I wish there were more dim sum and steamed food. The honey comb was a plus though.

Because of a construction site at nearby, there was happened some strange noise during the midnight, the glass door at the toilet was weaving and squeezing, producing a sound like skiing … it made the sleep very bad. Others everything else is acceptable.

Beautiful hotel with large rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel has great location next to the metro station and a coffee shop around the corner. About 15 minutes from Canton fair by taxi. The hotel staff were super excellent. We forgot few items in the cabinet in our room by mistake, they called within 2 hours from checking out, I was in a business meeting, and we arranged for the items to be sent to our next hotel. It arrived within 24 hours. Big thanks to all the staff.

Dining area staff and bell service staff was very helpful, Location not the best but there is a mall PO Park within 5-10 mins walking distance. Breakfast was unique and interesting, above average. Will stay again if the price is right.

This hotel has very good staffs and service. It is clean and quiet. The breakfast is super. The reason I gave 4 stars is the location. It is a little bit far walking to subway station, also it is not convenient to go to shopping and dinning place.

This hotel was a high quality hotel, with good sized well decorated rooms, which are now 'old style'. The two pools are impressive, as was the buffet on the 40th floor. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Guangzhou East station (much smaller than the south). The taxi to the the fair was just 50rmb and took 10 minutes. For the money i paid it was a bargain

I like the food in the Chinese restaurant, HongMian. It was a surprise to me the quality of the food as well as the environment as it was a last minute choice for us. I also appreciate the concierge staffs in helping to book dinning for us as we did not have a local mobile number.
