The one thing that put a damper on my stay was that I had selected America's Best Value Inn because it advertised an indoor pool, which I had been looking forward to using (I have back problems). - The pool was open to guests on the day of my arrival, however, before stepping into it I was told it was no longer heated. I tried but soon gave up any attempt to swim in the freezing water. - The indoor pool is a huge 'pull factor' of your hotel - please keep it heated!

Well everything was going well until me and my wife went to the outdoor pool which my wife and I did a little swimming and when I was exiting the pool I looked over to my left hand side and I saw a dead mouse on the shallow side bottom of the pool which made me sick to my stomach not to mention the pool looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. Just disgusting I guess one gets what one pays for but that’s not an excuse I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay at Americas Best Value Inn

Perfect location, so close to everything in Hyannis including downtown and the harbor. The rooms were dated but decent and clean. Bed comfortable. We didn’t have a microwave but saw them in some rooms so were a bit confused. The pool area were both kept clean and always towels but they need a major redo. Very dated and the outdoor pool was cracked and falling apart a bit. 5 stars for the staff though. All so kind and friendly. The housekeeping staff was all smiles and friendly as well.

I've been coming to this property for many years Because of the location and its accessibility to all different cape points. We've also loved it because they have a great outdoor pool and indoor pool with hot tub. On this occasion we weren't as satisfied because the outdoor pool was closed because they're refurnishing it and we were not notified of this prior to our trip period this was one of the reasons why we stayed there and were not super happy that we couldn't use the pool and we're notified period the indoor pool is a nice option for swimming but definitely not near as nice as the outdoor pool period the hot tub also was lukewarm and barely hot which makes it not really a hot tub period They have gotten new mattresses which is great but they are hard as rocks. Therefore the transitions they are doing are not as great as it was before period

Great location on Main Street. Just park and you can walk to shops, restaurants and attractions! The Melody Tent is only 1.4 miles away. Since this place is a motel, you have to walk outside to get to the indoor pool and front desk, which can be inconvenient in bad weather. The floors are vinyl not carpet and there is an air conditioner located practically on the floor and the controls are on the bottom which is very inconvenient. This place is OK for a place to sleep for 1 night. It is not a place I would spend a week at.

We had a king size bed room. It was a large room. Very clean throughout the room. Bathroom was well stocked and very clean. We will definitely stay here every time we visit the Cape and Hyannis.

Photos on your site are not representative of the reality, it does not correspond to the actual rooms at all. When arrived, the place was filthy and smelled urine. It looks like they just fold the cover properly but when opened, the bedsheets were not change. There were hair and crumbs. And our kids were horrified and disgusted. We informed the management about it and instead we were told that we could check out if we don't like it and to get refunded through the booking agency. And obviously, you advertise it non refundable for last minute booking. So we had to book another hotel at our expense. The discount you get will double in trouble. I will not book rooms through expedia again. The least thing you can is verify the actual place to validate the pictures that you're advertising. Btw, for $80 more we got a clean hotel with spa, pool and best of all clean sheets and towels with breakfast included.

The towels were a dingy gray color, sheets had stains, carpet had sand and the bathroom was filthy. I literally dropped my bags and headed out to target to buy new sheets, towels and cleaning supplies. My suggestion would be to pay a little more and stay in a hotel that is clean.

The room was absolutely dirty hair all over the sheets, hair in the shower, what looked to be a bloody booger on the phone, the ac had a hole in it along with the screen of the window it was in. Spiders and different bugs all over the room. We had housekeeping come in and strip the bed just to have the new sheets be just as nasty with more hair on it we went out and bought our own sheets/blankets to sleep on. There was a huge hole in the wall behind the nightstand which honestly looks like a safety hazard there’s the phone cord sticking out of it still and a bunch of extension cords for outlets we unplugged a bunch of stuff like the fridge some of the lights just so it wouldn’t blow a fuse. I wish i had spent the extra few hundred dollars and stayed somewhere else

The hotel didn't seem like much from the outside but it was great! Rooms were very up to date and clean. Window on each side gave a nice cross breeze and AC worked really well. Pools were great. Staff was friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is a great spot if you’re looking for affordability, convenient location, indoor and outdoor pools, and friendly staff. Some aspects of the rooms are outdated, but they’re fairly clean and there have been some modern upgrades. If you’re looking for something fancy, this isn’t for you. But if you need something comfortable, affordable, and a great place to swim, this is the place. The only real issue we had was the noise from the people in the room above us late into the night.

We had a great stay! The room was great for what we needed. The air conditioner was super loud and kept waking us up during the first night but after that we switched it to fan during the night and all was fine. I wish we could have streamed more channels or connected our phones to watch something else because there weren’t too many channels to choose from but it wasn’t a make or break for us (especially since we spent most time out of the room). The chairs by the pool were nice and we really enjoyed how convenient it was to walk around Main Street from the hotel. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short and the front desk staff were understanding and we were able to get a refund for the day we no longer could stay. Overall great stay and would consider staying there again in the future.

Check in was super easy. The rooms inside have been done over recently and are clean. And on the larger size for a motel. The windows open for fresh air, but are sliders so you can't keep them open just a little for fresh air at night.

When I arrived in my room, the temperature was over 80 degrees. The room was dated and in need of an update. This was fine for myself and a short 1 nite stay. I would not consider again for anything longer or more people.

I really loved this stay! The staff - all of them! - were warm and so pleasant and helpful. I asked for a recommendation on where to eat and they did not disappoint with their suggestion to go to Spanky’s; I asked for extra towels- they gave me THREE extra ones and when we checked out and asked if we could leave our car there - they didn’t even blink an eye for a yes!! Will recommend to everyone I know - and don’t know 😜

The motel was clean and modern. There was a minor issue with the plumbing, but staff was very responsive in resolving the issue. The price was right and more importantly, the room was comfortable and nice. I’ve stayed here before and will do so again. Also, it was close to everything in Hyannis, being right on Main Street.

We didn’t have a microwave but saw them in some rooms so were a bit confused. The pool area were both kept clean and always towels but they need a major redo. Very dated and the outdoor pool was cracked and falling apart a bit. 5 stars for the staff though. All so kind and friendly. The housekeeping staff was all smiles and friendly as well.

We had a great stay! The room was great for what we needed. The air conditioner was super loud and kept waking us up during the first night but after that we switched it to fan during the night and all was fine. I wish we could have streamed more channels or connected our phones to watch something else because there weren’t too many channels to choose from but it wasn’t a make or break for us (especially since we spent most time out of the room). The chairs by the pool were nice and we really enjoyed how convenient it was to walk around Main Street from the hotel. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short and the front desk staff were understanding and we were able to get a refund for the day we no longer could stay. Overall great stay and would consider staying there again in the future.

It was convenient to the main street shops, restaurants, and transportation options. I was able to avoid driving most days, opting to walk to shops and restaurants. But I was approached several times by individuals looking for a hand out. None were aggressive, but as a guy I present as more of a challenge than a petite woman might. So something to keep in mind if you plan to walk a lot. The hotel was good. Just don't expect a high-end experience. Wi-fi was spotty at best. Perhaps too many guests were streaming at the same time. The parking lot is a popular hangout for the seagulls. You'll need to wash your car afterwards. Staff was very pleasant, no complaints at all.

Great location on Main Street. Just park and you can walk to shops, restaurants and attractions! The Melody Tent is only 1.4 miles away. Since this place is a motel, you have to walk outside to get to the indoor pool and front desk, which can be inconvenient in bad weather. The floors are vinyl not carpet and there is an air conditioner located practically on the floor and the controls are on the bottom which is very inconvenient. This place is OK for a place to sleep for 1 night. It is not a place I would spend a week at.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We took advantage of the heated indoor pool during our stay which was also clean. We also love that it is such a short walk to Main Street. Will definitely be coming back before the summer ends!

Me my mother my son and his gf stayed here for 3 nights . The rooms were clean beds were comfortable and the staff were so very present . It could use some updating but it’s nice and cozy. The pools felt great and were clean and the coffee was awesome

Quiet stay in Hyannis. Property is old and it shows. Noisy on last night as more people showed up. Had to drive or walk 5-8 blocks to restaurants and shops. Coffee was in lobby for breakfast and fridge in room.

The Huge light that is on a post across from our room shining into the room all night. Could not at any point open the curtain or window because the light was ridiculously bright. Other than that, the room was ok. We did not have a microwave in the room, no curtain in the bathroom and the light from the parking lot behind the building kept the room lit up all night. No screen in the window in the eating area so couldn't open that window as well to let fresh air in. It was in a convenient area for walking to Main Street, the pool area was clean and nice. For the complementary coffee, I'm not sure what time they open in the morning for coffee but ended up going elsewhere to get a cup of coffee at 6:3am as the lounge area was locked. I would not stay here again.

If you’re used to staying in fancy hotels, this isn’t for you. But for the price, it was perfect. Sure, it’s old, I’ve seen better wall art, bigger TVs, but it was CLEAN, comfy, good water pressure, didn’t feel the need to wear shoes in the shower and felt fine sitting on the toilet. Btw, great flush. Good housecleaning, free weak coffee. Can’t beat it for the price. Super duper AC. Kept it ice cold.

When I first pulled into the parking lot, I thought, “A typical Cape motel.” Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill from there. After checking into my room, I was immediately overwhelmed by a very strong odor that actually made me gag. I initially assumed it was from a cleaning product, but as I looked around the room, I also noticed that the room itself was quite worn and rundown. There were two remotes sitting on the counter, and neither worked. One appeared to be for the air conditioner, while I’m still not sure what the other was supposed to operate. The bed was also extremely worn, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. After only about 30 minutes, I decided that I could not stay and found another motel. The difference was remarkable. The other property was clean, comfortable, and had no unpleasant odor. I honestly do not enjoy leaving negative reviews, and it saddens me to write this one. I always try to find something positive in my experiences, but unfortunately, I struggled to find anything positive about this stay. Based on my experience, I would not stay at this motel again and would not recommend it to others.
