Very clean hotel! The only complaint is that the pool was very cloudy when we went to use it. It was a holiday weekend, so cleaning might have been more difficult. Staff was awesome!

I loved my stay quiet and looked better than I expected very nice in the inside!! loved the downstairs bathroom and room bathroom..super close to the beach and restaurants and stores/mall. the only thing I didn't like was the slow elevator and how it felt like it was messed up when going down..

Room was not properly cleaned . Chip bag left on floor hair under sink and in the sink tub not cleaned. Floor not vacuum. I reported once we checked out . But im sure nothing will be done but the rooms was nice and i had friendly service. I was just thinking for 306.00 the rooms should have been properly cleaned once we left to go eat dinner.

The lobby area of the hotel was ok. The staff was nice. However, when I walked in the room, there was a stale, musty odor. I woke up to two dead roaches on the floor. The property appears to be old and in need of renovations. The price is definitely too high for that property. I travel a lot and was disappointed with my stay at the Holiday Inn.

Let me tell you what I am really upset about! The satellite going out 2-3 times a day from Friday till Sunday. I had to keep calling front desk to send someone up to reset it every time a total of five times someone had to reset it come to find out others were complaining about the same issue as well.

The staff at check in were friendly and quick. The room had nice furniture, bed comfy, coffee maker (pods) with small fridge. Carpets were a little musty, but normal for the area. The bathroom fan was really quiet. Shower had great pressure. Grout could have been cleaner both on the floor and in the shower. We did not have breakfast. There was complementary coffee around the clock. Quiet halls and area.

Checked in room went to eat came back , stop at desk, ask how much was an item I was ignored. My friend went to counter with items he was never acknowledged until I said what they don’t see you. It was 2 ladies talking to each other when clearly that could have waited until you finished and acknowledged the customers. Went to room tired to comment to WiFi it constantly said my name didn’t match the room. Call the desk several time which one er got an answer so I decided to go down to make sure we had the right code which wasn’t written legible. Stupid at the counter 10 minutes waiting until I finally started knocking on the doors that said employees only. After 2 minutes they finally came out talking about they were doing an audit. This is unacceptable customer service.

The evening hotel staff, the ones who do all the work, were AMAZING. The daytime staff refused to help my husband who just had major surgery with using an empty freezer for ice packs, nighttime no issue, daytime with nothing to do but refuse to help a person in need. Also, they purposely raised freezer temp when we used it again at insistence of nighttime staff, making the ice packs useless the next morning. We traveled hundreds of miles to see our son who is based nearby in Air Force and this was the "excellent" service we got from Holiday Inn. All hat aside, the hot tub is iffy. Breakfast is expensive, but filling. There is a Waffle House that you can walk to in parking lot, if want to do that, open 24 hours, of course. Nancy in the dining room is an amazing woman and if you do eat there and get to see her, it is worth it!! Also, if you add breakfast to your stay be sure to put in the exact number of people, because even if they are a child they are considered an adult if over like 10.

At arrival the front desk clerk was asleep at 7 am. Had to be awoken to assist us but fell asleep two more times while we were being assisted. She was standing at the computer asleep again before she could complete the check in. We were given a complimentary breakfast by the manager but just as disappointing at the front desk experience. The server failed to ever bring any drinks we ordered to the table.

Our visit was wonderful! Our bartender was amazing! I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out! After my boyfriend proposed we went back to our rooms, I still had too much adrenaline and wanted to go down for a drink! Not knowing she was about to close up, by the time we got there she was only a few minutes away from getting to go home! I felt awful but she was so kind and insisted she could still serve me! That small amount of kindness on such a big day for me was exactly what I needed to sooth my anxiety for the evening!
