Cozy Cabin! Amazing Location in Fish Creek! Pool!

Visited with my husband and 2 kids (4 and 6). House is in a great location and the right size for sleeping and some meals. The pool and storage unit with bikes and kayaks were major perks and appreciated. We will be back.

Loved our stay at the little yellow cottage in Fish Creek. Awesome location - walk to shops and restaurants. Across from Not Licked Yet, Julie’s and Peninsula State Park. Having the pool and bikes was a big plus. Thank you-we will be back!

Annual weekend visit for Fallfest. House was clean with easy access to restaurants and park. Didn’t take advantage of the bikes or kayaks but would stay here again for that opportunity. Filled with plenty of outdoor activities.

Stayed with three adults and one toddler. They had a packnplay which was great, just brought our own sheets. However, the bedroom space is very tight with multiple dressers, just barely fit at the end of the bed. Very close to walk to the state park, as well as the best pizza and custard. Central location to explore nearby towns as well. The two mini fridges were set so cold our beverages exploded and veggies froze. The storage shed was clean and well stocked with outdoor supplies, it is a few driveways down from the gas station. Unfortunately the kids bike trailer was missing the hitch so we didn’t get a chance to use them. Loved the extra toys to keep our toddler busy, nice they supply plenty of toiletries and coffee. Cozy but everything you need if you plan on spending most of your time out exploring. Would stay again!

This is a cozy and very convenient property. The bedrooms are very small but that was fine. We had four adults and managed within the space very well. The activity shed was awesome! We kayaked one day and spent the next day bicycling! We enjoyed the area and the smaller crowds of the offseason!

The place is filthy, sink clogged, drain full of hair, pretty sure linens had not been washed, had to use our own clothing to wrap around pillow cases cause they smelled really badly, broken faucet and rusted fixtures, water spilled over tub dangerously caused slippery floor, fire pit was located next to garbage cans for entire condo property. Swimming pool closed without notice. Great location but way over priced. We had thought it would be better cause it had two bedrooms but the one bathroom was so tight and gross that it wasn’t worth it. Never again

We scheduled a three day weekend at Little Yellow Cottage. Our group consisted of two couples, my wife and I, and our daughter and her partner. Pros: Very clean property, good location right across the street from the entrance to Peninsula State Park. It is right on the main road through town so might be a bit busy in the summer. Kitchen is well equipped. For a summer stay the Adventure Shed has a lot of gear. There are also snowshoes in it which we used for hiking in the park. Fish Creek is a nice community to stay in. LYC is also dog friendly with a crate and bowls on site. Cons: It is very small (description says 500 sq Ft). Bedrooms are very tight , one person will need to crawl over the other to get out of the bed first. There is no pantry for food storage, just a small crate on top of one of the two small refrigerators. The freezer is small so don’t plan on bringing much food that needs to be kept frozen. Lastly, none of the directions to get to the adventure shed were correct. We did eventually find it and sent information and photos to the property management company so hopefully they update the instructions. Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend this property for a couple or family with one or two younger kids.

Emily gave us all the information we needed before our arrival and ensured the cottage was stocked for all our basics needs as noted in the description. The property is in easy walking distance of the beach and many shops and restaurants in downtown Fish Creek, including Wild Tomato Pizza and Not Licked Yet frozen custard shop. The only regret we had was that we couldn’t stay longer and have more time to use pool and check out the equipment in the Adventure Shed. This cottage was just what we needed for our girls weekend.

This cottage was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed having Not Licked Yet (the frozen custard shop) right across the street. That shop has the sweetest view of a calming stream. We also enjoyed the nearby park where we walked our dog each day. We swam in the pool which made our daughter really happy! The cottage itself had every amenity we needed and checking in and out was a breeze. I would definitely rent this place again!

We had a wonderful week in the little yellow cottage. Emily was fantastic to communicate with and everything was seamless which is what you want on vacation. The cottage is cozy and cute but all needs were met for our family of 5 including 3 teens. The adventure shed was a great resource with lots of options that we took advantage of - bikes, kayaks, etc. More than we needed which was nice. The pool on the premise was clean and enjoyable. Extra folding chairs were provided for added seating which was great. Everyone slept comfortably with the AC and fans working well. Great location on the main strip of Fish Creek with lots of dining and shops walkable. Beach very close and nice to be able to walk there as well. State park steps away from cottage which was fun to explore. We would definitely return and fell in love with Fish Creek for sure!

Great location and clean and cozy place to stay!

It was too musty for us, but we liked the location for walking around Fish Creek. It's right next to a pretty nature park and across the street from the small beach and pier for relaxing. Short walks to restaurants, cafes, shops. Better for those bringing their dog, as it really smells like dog, and better if you don't have environmental allergies. Sorry we didn't get to use the pool because weather was only in the 60s during our stay and even with the water being warm it was still too cold. But the pool looked really nice.

We had a great experience staying in the little yellow cabin. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Great location in the middle of everything. We appreciated the stroller and toys for our toddler and the gear for our dog!

The living room area had a very strong dog odor. The shower/ bathtub could use some updating, maybe add another shower curtain, the current one doesn’t cover the entire bathtub and water splashes out.

The property was nice however from the ad i had believed the pool was just for our cottage, not 5. Also, as i know its a pet friendly cottage, the carpets could have been cleaner. It was a great location close to everything and it was good for our stay.

Everything about my stay here was perfect. The host has anything you could ever need in the house and it was very clean. The location and area is perfect! So easy and fun for the dogs too! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This cute cottage looks tiny from the outside, but is roomy on the inside with two bedrooms. It is in a great location in Fish Creek - across the street from Peninsula State Park. You can walk to almost everything in Fish Creek.

If you're not willing to be in close quarters with your companions, this is not the cottage for you. However, if you're just alone with a spouse or maybe a child, this is perfect. Situated perfectly near downtown Fish Creek, it is quiet and cozy. Very clean, very little instructions needed to check in/out. Cannot recommend enough. 10/10.

The little yellow cottage is situated in the perfect location of Door County! Right on the main drag of Fish Creek, the park and Fish Creek downtown are easily accessible from the cottage. Although it is situated on the main highway, we found little disruption via car noise. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen. While small, the cottage offered everything needed for a small family or two couples. Additionally, the cottage provided bowls, a bed, and a nearby park for our small pup. Great communication with renter as well. Easy check-in and check out. Highly recommended!!

The little yellow cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. Had all the amenities including a great jacuzzi bathtub and TV's in every room. Bedrooms are small but we managed just fine. It is right in the heart of Fish Creek and you can walk to a lot of places.

I really can't say anything bad about this cottage. I am confused from previous reviews about it being so small. There are 2 bedrooms which basically have ur bed a dresser and a TV... and then the kitchen/dining/living space are all open. We LOVED the jetted tub. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen as many places don't actually have the pots, pans, silverware that is needed. They also had plastic storage bags.This cute cottage has us wishing to come during high season. It is really that nice.Off Season you need to really pay attention to shopping hours, as many places are only open on weekends or open for 3-4 hours during the weekdays.The nicest part of this cottage was we received all the info we needed and we NEVER bothered by the "host". Yet, if we would of had a problem, I have no doubt they would have responded promptly.

Great location, Great communication. Everything was described and explained very well.

We had a few issues with this listing. The roof leaked over my sons bed while sleeping. Stayed all day the next day waiting for roofer. Poor parking. Pest control showed up to check the traps. We love being able to stay in different places that is the fun to our vacation. We realize its other peolpes property and there will be some good and bad rentals, this particular one was not our favorite.

The cottage was just right for the two of us plus our dog. It was very clean and had a lot of extra supplies that you might have forgotten. It was peaceful and felt like being at home. It is in a beautiful spot and close to everything you might want to experience. We definitely want to go back. Many of our friends have asked about our stay and are hoping to book a stay.

Perfect location to get wherever we wanted to enjoy the town and area. Walking distance from all the fun stuff. Easy location to hop on the road to other towns. Place was clean and perfect for our needs. Host communicated very well and met all our needs. Hope to stay again, highly recommend!!!

We were impressed with the yellow cottage during our short stay in Fish Creek. We loved the location and were able to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the Kurig with coffee pods in the morning. Owners were friendly and provided excellent communication.

Perfect little location right in between Fish Creek and Peninsula State Park!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend away! Convenient walking distances to places to eat, shops, coffee, ice cream, parks, and trails! There was a trail behind the cottage that was amazing! Such a treasure. Thanks for the perfect cottage!
