Very clean room and very big washroom, probably one of the biggest or bigger ones you’ll have when staying in Japan. One of my only critiques is that this place is incredible when it comes to actually “staying” at the hotel room but when it comes to trying out different accommodations, a lot of that would require additional expense or upgrading to a premium suite What this means is that for access to a pool and gym, things you would think are part of the hotel, this is not included. Now this is somewhere when you book; however, it should honestly be more apparent. The actual room and service is good; however, it doesn’t get a perfect score as accommodations of a hotel is also what makes the overall experience better and the fact you have to pay for access to a pool and gym that isn’t even in the building is bizarre.

Excellent, convenient location in central Tokyo. Walking to many activities and subway was easy. Staff were outstanding and went out of their way to be kind and helpful. We had the club included which was convenient for comprehensive breakfast and evening snacks when we wanted a more quiet time.

This is a classy Hotel. The staff is wonderful. The location is great. Close to train stations, lots of dining options and more. We had an excellent stay. Our room however could use some updating. Stains on the carpet and walls. My only complaints is on Expedia site, the hotel shows that is has laundry facilities. I took that to mean machines on site for guests. They don’t and the closest coin laundry is almost 1/2 mile away. Not a bad walk when the temperature drops down. It also said it has a pool. That is misleading, because it’s not on site and there is a fee to use it. However, the overall hotel is great and I would definitely recommend it to travelers.

The property does not have swimming pool nor gym available. The photos in expedia are misleading. There is a fitness club available in front of the hotel. Guests have access paying ~1600 JY per day. Kids are not allowed. I reserved this hotel to give my kids an option to relax in the pool after long walks in Tokyo, we were very disapointed. Location is super and service i great!

This is my 3rd time staying this hotel. It was great staying last couple times. The room was clean and well organized. I had to clean the bathtub before I used at this time. It was not clean enough with brown spots on it. A wash cloth got really dirty after cleaning. Thankfully it was only one night stay this time.

This absolutely not a luxury property. It’s old and stale and incredibly busy. Rooms are equivalent to a motel room NOT a 5 star hotel. Service was brutal as well. But hotel is old, stale and not very clean at all. Many of the rooms here the train noise all night long.

The experience was amazing, besides the cleanliness of the room. Staff helped with luggage transfers which was very helpful. Great in room massages! Honestly if there weren’t stains in the carpet and on the walls it would be 5 stars.

전체적으로 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 위치도 좋고 방의 컨디션도 생각보다 괜찮았습니다. 5성급 호텔이라고 하기에는 기존에 다른 호텔들과는 확연히 차이가 나지만 그 부분은 리뉴얼이 되지 않는 한 어쩔 수 없을거라 생각합니다. 단, 한가지!!! 정말 변기 상태는 최악이었습니다. 첫날 봤을 때는 방을 사용한지 오래돼서 그럴 수 있다 싶었는데 청소를 하고 간 후에도 변기 안쪽 뿐만 아니라 비데에 곰팡이가 그대로 있었습니다. 5성급이니까 처음에 믿고 비데를 쓴게 얼마나 후회스럽던지...누군가 올렸던 변기 상태 사진을 보고 유난스럽다 생각했는데 정말 그 사진보다 더 심각해서 깜짝 놀랐습니다. 제가 숙박후기를 남길 때 좋은 점만 남기는데 다른 모든 면이 만족스러워 다시 이용하고 싶은데 그러려면 변기 상태가 꼭 개선이 되어야 할 것 같아서 남깁니다. 진짜 1년에 한두번씩은 꼭 도쿄를 가는데 다이이치 호텔에 다시 숙박하고 싶으니 화장실 청소에 신경을 써 주시길 바랍니다.

Great hotel, traditional rather than ultra modern but I liked this, the bedroom was much larger than expected and very comfortable. Location is good for Ginza shopping / eating and close to subway to get into central Tokyo. I am really pleased I stayed at this hotel.

Whilst the hotel amenities are a bit dated due to its heritage, the size of the room was spacious and was clean and comfortable especially for a Tokyo hotel. The staff were very helpful and gracious, assisted in helping with our deliveries and transport. Our room faced the train lines so we could hear the trains a bit, so if you are sensitive to noise then would suggest requesting for a room facing opposite side.

I've stayed here many times over the years and am always impressed with the service at Daiichi Hotel Tokyo. This last trip, I fell ill, and the staff was extremely helpful in arranging a visit to a local clinic and ensuring our room needs were met. Entering the property, you are immediately greeted by friendly and extremely considerate staff. Staff is constantly ready to help and goes the extra mile. For example, we asked the concierge for tour details of the imperial palace, and when we came back we were greeted at the door with a print-out and instructions on how to secure a spot for the tour. The club lounge had the highest quality food, with a vast array of refreshment options. Staff here were also very attentive, and aware to give guidance to guests the moment an issue arrises. Best experience so far, and we’ve travelled around the world.

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to ensure you are welcomed and best served. Have not seen a comparable level of experience in a long time. Really appreciated this throughout my stay. Great location too - close to station which has lines to major Tokyo stations. I will return!

The staff were amazing! They helped us with our bags and arranged for our transportation to Haneda airport. They provided us with enough toiletries and greeted us with a smile & a bow every time we came back to the hotel at night after a long and tiring day! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the harder than usual bed! I guess that is part of the Japanese culture😁 It is also next to the Shimbashi station and there are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby - Lawson and Family Mart. Don Quijote and Ginza designer stores are less than a 5 minute walk and perfect for shopping! Will consider staying here again next time!

Out of all my hotel stays this trip, this one was the best due to the brilliance of the amazing staff members and the comfortability of my room. Everything was amazing from my check in to my check out. I had everything I needed and then some. Staff were also very helpful regarding any questions/concerns I had. I am so happy I got to stay here and I hope I can come back again soon the next time I’m in Tokyo.

This was our first trip to Tokyo Japan and we loved the Daiichi Hotel and their lovely staff. From the moment we arrived the staff took exceptional care of us and our gorgeous room was beyond anything we could have imagined with a huge bathroom with all kinds of amenities. We had a king bed that was so comfortable and a fully stocked refrigerator and our room was cleaned every day with the most comfortable pajamas laid out for us. This hotel is beyond a 5 Star rating and so is the gracious and kind staff. We will definitely be back to stay again and we highly recommend them!!!! Thank you so much Daiichi Hotel and staff, we appreciate you.

Excellent service and great location, only one stop from Tokyo station. Walkable to Ginza area. Our room was a bit dated in decor but absolutely spotlessly clean. Service was great and we were well looked after. If you are having breakfast there, definitely try the a la carte restaurant option. In a beautiful formal dining room and the food was great.

My overall stay was enjoyable! The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom amenities were well provided, and the staff were generally friendly, which made me feel welcome. 12 out of 10. Excellent services and cleanliness. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It's connected to the Shimbashi metro station so the location is extremely convenient. There are lots of restuarants, cafes and stores nearby. We paid for the breakfast, and could choose either the buffet or Western/ Japanese set breakfast on a daily basis. The room was spacious and very clean. We had a great view and could see the Tokyo tower from our window. My family and I are set to return to this hotel next time when we are in Tokyo.
