Jorge and the other nightshift reception staff were very nice they were so helpful However we couldn’t get ice from bar at any point told we had to buy a drink. Iv never experienced anything like before at a hotel so was disappointed. We booked hotel as it was adult only but there were people there by the pool with young children? Overall we enjoyed our stay with the location and service we received from the rest of the staff Especially Jorge on the desk in the evening.

We stayed in a deluxe room with an amazing sea view, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The room itself, however, was quite basic. The bed was comfortable, but unfortunately it creaked with even the slightest movement. The air conditioning was also very poor, and the shower temperature was impossible to regulate — it was either freezing cold or scalding hot, with no in-between. On a positive note, the room was kept spotless throughout our stay, and housekeeping did an excellent job. We spent our first day by the pool, but this area could really do with some attention. The wooden walkways around the pool looked worn and unkempt, and at times felt unsafe to walk on, and so we chose to spend most of our time on the beach. Breakfast was decent, although the selection was very repetitive each day. We booked this hotel because it was described as the ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing break. However, as a couple in our 50s, we found there were too many young and noisy groups staying there for it to feel as calm and relaxing as we had hoped. That said, the staff were fantastic throughout our stay, especially Jorge on reception, who was exceptional and couldn’t do enough to help us. Overall, we’re glad we gave this hotel a try, but unfortunately it’s not somewhere we would choose to return to.

The hotel was lovely and very clean. Although it is a little dated and the rooms could benefit from some modern upgrades, they were well maintained and spotless. The location is excellent, with the beach and the old town both within easy walking distance (around 10 minutes). Overall, a great location and a pleasant stay.

The location and view were wonderful as was the breakfast buffet. We were able to walk to walk easily into town and the marina. As for the cons, when we first got there, we were not given the room we paid for. They did change us, though. The hotel needs some major updating. Furniture-inside and outside-was old and some falling apart. There were not enough umbrellas poolside. Our blinds would not go down and our curtains would not close, so we got a view of the neighbors. The patio door was stuck and had no handle outside. The toilet also did not work on the small flush. Then the toilet water continued to flow. The shower drain was carved out from the tile, and there was a hole where you could easily twist your ankle. Terrence O
