We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Could do with a bit of updating though. The lounge area was a bit drab and couches very uncomfortable. Shower and bathroom were great and serviced well each day. Location is about 20-25min walk to main center. Or a 12 minute walk to a nice restaurant and pub. The pool and mini golf are a great feature and the pool is kept nice and clean. We would stay again!

We were disappointed that there was no service available on Sundays for dinner at the Stay Margeret River accommodation. The whole place except for our accommodation, and recreation is closed on Sunday evening. The local taxi service is very busy and no service available for people who travel by bus. Only Pre-booking well in advance, we were advised. Otherwise the place is beautiful lots to do and see in the area. Lilian and Richard

Very disappointing as booked as they had an on sire restaurant only to find out on checking in that for various reasons were not available. Considering no cooking facilities available in the room, the only option was to find someone in town to eat. Would have booked somewhere else in town with cooking facilities

Excellent stay! Friendly staff, and fabulous food. Rooms are motel-style and we requested a walk in shower owing to mobility issues which was no problem. Great parking, bonus having a pool. Lovely and quiet, ideal spot all round. Need a car if going into Margaret River - be sure to visit the Bakery if heading that way, less than a 5 minute drive. Accessible for wineries and definitely worth visiting the Caves (Mammoth Cave is great for minimal steps) and Lake Cave beautiful but over 325 steps!!!

The only property we have encountered where welcoming and smoothening music was playing on the smart TV when we entered the hotel room. It was almost magical. The room is spacious, clean and generously stocked with many comfortable pillows. Amazing service, easy parking and great well maintained walkable gardens including a giant chess!

Setting was peaceful bush, birds attractive gardens.Little bush animals were seen scurrying in the foliage. pool in a quiet spot surrounded by garden.rooms were large and comfortable with an outside entrance and passage doors.cool verandahs plenty of room and pricey. best thing was the room in the middle of each area for doing cooking with tables and chairs. BBQ's outside also.Just a lovely relaxed accommodation.Restaurant also good.

Nice enough but out of all the places we stayed on our trip the unit was similar in price but the lowest standard of all. The bathroom was very cramped, the shower only had a shower curtain. The room was not serviced properly and I had to go to reception to request a wash cloth and some milk. The staff responded well and sorted it out. The fridge didn't have it's own cupboard and was noisy. The TV screen size was small. For many years most places had small TVs this size but on this trip all rooms had a large screen except this room.

As you entered the lounge room you were hit with a strange smell. The bathroom smelled of chlorine and some of the tiles in the shower were mouldy. The beds in the single room both had dipped significantly when you sat or laid on the bed. One of the beds also had dead bugs in it. When I told the receptionist in the morning about it he said he couldn’t refund and could only give us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience.

Extremely helpful polite and knowledgeable reception staff. Small rooms, comfortable bed. Dirty shower and toilet bowl. Large mirror above bed was covered in dust and had to clean ourselves. Asked for shower to be re cleaned. Spray bottle of bleach left on the basin unscrewed and shower still no improvement. Not good if travelling with kids. Dining was lovely. Food was very good. Came back to the room to find a dozen kids on scooters in the pool and sitting on the chairs in front of the rooms. Not even sure if they were staying there. Eventually moved on but said they were coming back.

We stayed from October 22-26. Throughout our stay, the water pressure in our shower was so low that it was extremely difficult to shower properly. Having two small children made this an even bigger issue. This issue was brought to your staff’s attention, but unfortunately, nothing was done to resolve it. In addition, the television in our room had a persistent blue tinge on the screen, making it difficult to watch. This problem was also reported but remained unaddressed. I had also specifically requested that our rooms not be serviced during our stay, yet they were cleaned regardless of this request. At a rate of $1,525 for four nights, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation and service. In effect, we were left without a properly functioning shower or television, amenities that are fundamental to any modern hotel stay.

We want to say a huge thank you to Grande Escape Resort for making us feel super welcome and enjoy our 2 night stay. We enjoyed chatting with the receptionist Linda, the manager Bethany, and the other staff members too. The dinner we had was delicious and highly recommended. The rooms were clean and consisted of everything we needed, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds and taking pics of the beautiful nature surrounding the rooms. Highly recommend!!

There is know room service, you have to go pick up your food from the diner. Check all furniture before you even take you stuff in. We were scammed out of $500 for marks on the table that was already there. Do not recommend

The staff and facilities in the dining area were very nice. Hiwever we stayed for 4 nights and our bed and towels were done once. The front staff didn't really care and said it was because of a public holiday that rooms weren't done . done an

This place was excellent, the staff were amazing, extremely professional, helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was as great, food fresh, offers breakfast too which had a great choices. The bar was a great addition with warm wood fires rooms clean with full size fridge. We had the 2 bedroom suite with living room that was great size for any family. Would highly recommend. Claire and the Manager Beth were outstanding

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Could do with a bit of updating though. The lounge area was a bit drab and couches very uncomfortable. Shower and bathroom were great and serviced well each day. Location is about 20-25min walk to main center. Or a 12 minute walk to a nice restaurant and pub. The pool and mini golf are a great feature and the pool is kept nice and clean. We would stay again!

We were heading to Margaret River to follow our footy team and decided to make a long weekend of it and stay for a couple of nights. The weather was wet and very cold, but the Grande Escape turned out to be an excellent spot to stay. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and warm, with very comfy beds. We headed to the restaurant at night and enjoyed a great meal and then sat by the toasty open fire and had a nightcap. The Resort is located about 2 minutes drive out of town and is set amongst beautiful trees and has a lovely pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably repeat it next year.

It was a nice size room and had all the required facilities. I did not like a couple of things. First, we paid $50 for buffet breakfast, but the food was stale and or not fresh. The bread before even putting it in the toaster, was a bit hard. The bacon tasted like it was cooked the day before. The egg was still gooey. It was not the money worth. Second, the cushions was totally horrible. They were over sized and big! we slept on our sons blanket as it was more confortable. There was also some red and brown stains on the sheets.

Their room service is not room service- you have to pick up the meal from the restaurant. I was not told this when I enquired about room service when I checked in. We were disappointed that there was no service available on Sundays for dinner at the Stay Margeret River accommodation. The whole place except for our accommodation, and recreation is closed on Sunday evening. The local taxi service is very busy and no service available for people who travel by bus. Only Pre-booking well in advance, we were advised. Otherwise the place is beautiful lots to do and see in the area. Lilian and Richard

Excellent stay! Friendly staff, and fabulous food. Rooms are motel-style and we requested a walk in shower owing to mobility issues which was no problem. Great parking, bonus having a pool. Lovely and quiet, ideal spot all round. Need a car if going into Margaret River - be sure to visit the Bakery if heading that way, less than a 5 minute drive. Accessible for wineries and definitely worth visiting the Caves (Mammoth Cave is great for minimal steps) and Lake Cave beautiful but over 325 steps!!!

So had to soak up water with towels. Room did not get serviced on second day. Had to ask for clean set of towels. Had meal in restaurant. Breakfast was not as good as expected. Chef needs to leave off fancy 'stuff ' on plates, especially when its just toast. A bit more butter and less spreads would be good
