Disappointing experience for a spa hotel of this category The hotel has potential, but unfortunately our stay did not meet expectations. While the room was newly renovated, it was located directly under the roof and had no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortably hot during the summer nights. On Sunday, no regular meals were available, only bar food – something we were not informed about in advance. Overall, the hotel felt a bit outdated, and several construction sites on the premises made the atmosphere less appealing. The service was inconsistent: while the reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, most of the other staff did not speak English, which made communication difficult. Additionally, several small items were missing in the room, and we had to ask for them repeatedly. What surprised us most: although this is marketed as a spa hotel, guests are required to pay CHF 30 per person, per day to access the spa area – something we’ve never encountered before in a hotel of this kind. Overall, not the value for money we had hoped for.

Neu renovierte Zimmer und Zugang zum Thermalbad

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. We loved the pools with jacuzzi, sauna and bubble beds. Room was nice with small terrace and very peaceful. Tassimo coffee machine, fridge and complimentary water in room. Short walk to Lidl store or railway station.

Överlag riktigt dåligt. Vid incheckning fick en ”penelty list” d v s om vi bl a stal en badrock, inte direkt välkomnande. Trasiga lampor gjorde läsning omöjlig. Plastmuggar och duschdraperi på 4-stjärnigt hotell: no no. Dessutom extra kostnad för att bada i poolen. Vi lommade iväg på morgonen utan frukost, hit åker vi aldrig mer.

Leider hat das Zimmer nach Zigarettenrauch gestunken, die Therme kostet 20.- extra Eintritt und leider gab es auch keine Klimaanlage. Das Bett war allerdings sehr bequem. Preis Leistung stimmt für mich trotzdem nicht.

La piscine est en gros travaux et cela n’était pas très explicite. Ce no était pas clair à quel point cela avait une incidence sur les accès aux piscines. Ça aurait été bien d’informer beaucoup plus clairement les clients.

Séjour très agréable, l'accès direct depuis l'hôtel à la piscine, aux spas, aux divers services proposés par les thermes, aux restaurants est vraiment un grand point positif. Nous reviendrons!

Parfait les bains excellent

Luxueux hôtel très beau. Chambre hyper confort des matelas aux petites attentions : tout y est. La chambre offre l’accès aux thermes (attention sauf sauna / hammam qui nécessite un supplément), ce qui n’était pas très clair dans le descriptif. Vous avez bien accès aux thermes (plusieurs piscines / parcours aquatiques) avec la chambre. Personnel très accueillant. Vous avez accès aux thermes très facilement avec des badges remis avec la clé de chambre. Vous pouvez directement aller aux thermes depuis votre chambre en maillot et peignoir (peignoir et pass fournis par l’hôtel). Thermes agréables, eau bien chaude, parcours aquatique sympathique. J’ai compté 3 piscines avec chacune une ambiance différente. Le restaurant est correct. Pas du meilleur rapport qualité / prix qui soit, on y a va plutôt pour le cadre très beau et la sympathie des serveurs. Cuisine à améliorer, c’est correct sans plus, avec malgré tout le prix Suisse en face (amis suisses, qu’est-ce c’est cher de manger dans votre beau pays !) Cela pourrait être aussi par un verre de bienvenue à l’attention des clients de l’hôtel ?

Ich bin mittlerweile das dritte mal in diesem Hotel. Es ist alles sehr sauber und modern. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Vorzüge eines kleinen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine sind sehr angenehm.

Sehr gute Information das im Garten eine Baustelle ist. Sehr gutes preisleistungsverhältnis. Frühstück viel zu teuer. TEPPICHBODEN IM FLUR AN VERSCHIEDENE STELLEN SEHR VERSCHMUTZT EKELIK

My family and I are really enjoy staying in this hotel especially the thermal pool very relaxing, although the day we arrive and the next day which is the raining day, it doesn’t stop us to enjoy the facilities. One day stay is not enough, next time I will stay here at least two days. Breakfast is great. Very nice and professional staff.

Very nice hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Restaurant for evening meals was faultless. Breakfast included both hot and cold. Something for everyone. There is some wear and tear here and there noticeably in the corridors between the rooms but this is a minor issue. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to the area.

Sadly the room was not as described. We had booked a double room for our honeymoon stay, with much anticipation for the hotel, we even included a message to make sure our room was suitable for such an occasion. We weren't expecting anything extra but we weren't provided with a double room like we booked. We were instead given a twin room with beds pushed together, and there were quite a few bugs in the room including some cockroaches. It was just a bit disappointing, especially for the price paid, and the fact that the spa is under renovation so we were mostly paying for the quality of the room which was below average. No compensation was provided for this despite asking if we could have the room we booked instead, none were available only twin rooms. I would like to say that the reception and bar staff were lovely and very helpful, and the cleaning staff attentive.

Das Gebäude ist schlecht isoliert und man hat sehr viel Lärm von der Strasse. Man hört sogar den Nachbar wenn er TV schaut in der Nacht. In der Badewanne lief das Wasser nicht ab und der Drehknopf an der Wanne viel ab. Flecken auf dem Teppich und ein unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer Das Personal ist freundlich und das Frühstücksbüffet war "nett"

Chambre vétuste odeur désagréable ( transpiration )

Struttura con un potenziale enorme, andrebbe pero’ totalmente ristrutturata. La camera presenta un cattivo odore dovuto alla moquette, non c’è l’aria condizionata ma un ventilatore esterno poco funzionante. Servizio e colazione molto buoni.

L’hôtel était calme, la literie était médiocre ainsi que les oreillers. L’état général du bâtiment est très ancien

Neu renovierte Zimmer und Zugang zum Thermalbad

Rooms are old, the bed was not comfortable and the walls are thin so you hear a lot of noises. The baths are the only reason I would stay there, but even so, I do not think I will return on my next visit to the area.

Very comfy bed and spacious room. A lot of traffic noise if the windows or balcony door was open. Shower over the bath and had to be hand held

It promises more than it delivers. Poor bed linen and pillows and curtains which don’t cover the windows make for a poor night sleep

Camera spaziosa

There nothing grand about the Grand Hotel. Maybe years ago, but now it is far from what an average tourist expects. First, there is NO AC!!! It may be fine in April and May, but we could not sleep at all because of the July heat. If you open the window, the mosquitoes rush in. There is a fan, but the noise it creates solidifies a sleepless night. The bathroom amenities are very cheap. There is 2in 1 shampoo/body wash. No conditioner. We almost used up the miniature body lotion, but we did not get another one next day. There are only 2 super soft pillows, so we had to put clothes under to make it better. There were 2 coffee capsules, 2 packs of sugar and 2 sticks. So, if we like to have the coffee with 2 packs each, it will not happen. Then, the cherry on top was that there were 2 tea bags, but there is way to boil water. The front desk advised to go to the bar and get hot water from there. I was not going to do it, as I was ready to go to bed. Not sure why they even gave the tea bags. In other words, all seems so cheap and rationed. And yes, I left a tip for the cleaning staff. The furniture is worn out. The only 2 positive things are the front desk staff and the close proximity to the thermal baths, which by the way are not exclusive to the hotel. The pools are excellent! Next time, I would stay elsewhere and just pay my fee for the baths. The leaders must not rely on the sentiments about LaBelle Epoque. They must make changes to fit the needs of the present day tourist.

Nous venons pour la troisième fois dans cet hôtel, superbe complexe, les chambres sont agréables. Gros bémol sur le restaurant de l’hôtel (la belle époque) oú nous avons attendu plus de 50min avant d’être servis. Le service était beaucoup trop long et nous a dissuadé de commander un dessert. De plus, j’ai retrouvé un cheveux dans le bœuf, aucun geste commercial de la part de Felipé, le gérant de salle, autant dire que c’est inadmissible après un tel événement. Nous n’y retournerons pas.

Gut: Sehr gute Lage. Freundliche Personen am Empfang. Zimmer waren eher einfach, aber zweckmässig. Frühstücks-Buffet: Speisen waren sehr reichhaltig und schmackhaft im wunderschönen, grossen Saal. Wellness und Thermalbad inklusive war sehr gut. Schöne Umgebung. Weniger gut: Umbau der Wellness, Sauna in Container. Zimmer war eher klein, schon etwas älter und bescheiden.

This is a 1 star hotel in terms of service, not the 4 stars it claims to be. Staff in restaurant is rude beyond anything I have experienced in many years. We were denied entry to the restaurant for dinner. We waited for an hour to get a drink on the patio outside. We got screamed at breakfast because we asked for silverware. Additionally they tried to charge us twice for the same room, once at arrival and once at departure. Also All thermal pools were closed. Hotel smells of chlorine. I stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world in the past decade, and would not recommend this one.

The building is amazing and has lots of parking places. the rooms and fitness facilities are a little bit outdated. But what I didn’t enjoy was the dinner experience, it took the waitress 30 minutes just to give me a menu and it seemed like she was paying more attention to French speaking customers and none to non French speakers. For the price I expected a better service

This property is under renovation and very early in the morning they were running heavy equipment directly outside our second floor window and renovating the room directly above us using hammers and heavy equipment. I sent an email to the management to suggest that they not rent this room until the renovations were complete in the room above but never got a reply.

Furchtbares Hotel. - Das Zimmer war schon vergeben, als ich eingetreten bin. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat sich nicht mal entschuldigt, hat gesagt: in ihren Az stem das Zimmer ist frei - Frühstück sehr einfach, Personal unfreundlich - Das Zimmer war sehr laut - Wellnes Bereich Renovierungs bedürftig!!!

Grossräumig, super Frühstück, warmes Aussenbad.

Bon séjour, hôtel un peu vieillot ainsi que les bains. Le restaurant dans la coupole : magnifique. Malheureusement le service laisse a désirer!

Je vous souhaite de prévoir également des travaux de rénovation dans les chambres. On y mange bien à La Belle Époque.. Le Buffet du Frühstück était parfait et varié. Par contre les serveurs manque d’aisance et chaleureux.

Frische Eier beim Frühstück, die Tetrapac Eier sind leider ungenießbar. Sonst ist das Frühstück gut.
