Everything here is good with 2 notes: 1) the mangers reception is 530-7pm - the website says 4-8 somewhere. 2) the indoor portion of the pool area is highly chlorinated. Some people aren't affected but if u are sensitive to smells it's a lot.

even though remodeling was actively going on at the property, the hotel felt clean, parking was tight but arrangements were made with neighboring businesses to ensure guests had room to park. Room was outstanding. really impressed with the hotel overall.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast was very good and they kept it stocked. The pool area had indoor and outdoor areas which made it great to escape the 102 afternoon heat. The area is outside the city, but 20 minutes from so many attractions.

The pool was perfect for families.. However after 9 it should be adults only or like 6-7 something … way to many kids in hot tub where I paid for that specific thing and never got to use because little kids were in there … adults need time to and go away for time and deserve that

My family and I picked this hotel for it's swimming / hot tub amenities. During our first trip to the pool, I stepped into the hot tub and sliced my foot open on a broken tile in the hot tub. There was a lot of blood and the pool area had to be shut down. I bandaged my foot and thankfully didn't need stitches. It did ruin my trip as I couldn't use the pool for the rest of my stay and I couldn't participate in walking activities as scheduled for the duration of my trip to the St. Louis area. The manager called me and provided me with a free stay for one night. LOL. One night? I was expecting the entire stay I guess as my trip was seriously affected. Will not stay here again.

Everything was great except the pool. The main reason we stayed at a hotel was so our 5 year old could play in the pool. It was so crowded, big kids kept hitting her on accident & we finally just got out. Her heart was broken but it wasn’t safe. For a building that has 8 floors of rooms, the pool is just too small.

Had to stay in a room where the previous guest had a dog the used the restroom on the carpet. They tried to clean it up but didn’t notify the hotel staff about the carpet. I checked into the room and upon checking in everything was good until I when to sit down and work on some work. That’s when I discovered the wet spot and the smell and color of dog poop in the carpet and it was wet. The housekeeping manager came up to access the situation and couldn’t do anything about it and notified the front desk about the situation and as a result I couldn’t be moved so I was forced to stay my entire stay dealing with this situation. Worst hotel and I definitely won’t ever be staying with them again.

Overall a good stay, just a night out with the grandkids for some fun. The sheets had multiple pieces of hair under the sheets and blankets, I always check the beds when I first arrive at any hotel. I just stopped looking after finding multiple hairs and they were not mine. I brought my own blanket so I was good.

For the money, Drury is by far the most impeccable of all, and cost efficient. Great breakfast everyday. Dinner offerings in the evening. 3 Adult beverages at "530 Kickback Time" every evening/ Rooms and facility extremely clean and service is bar none.

King Suite, 2-room. Not as expected. Appears to be to joining rooms, converted. The bedroom does not have any air vents (heat /AC) that flow air direct into room. One room is much warmer or, cooler, than the other.

We enjoyed our stay here. The evening reception and breakfast were great and had a lot of options to choose from. The room was spacious. Unfortunately the room was humid and had a musty smell to it. Otherwise, it seemed clean.

Hotel is expensive. They don’t even provide a complimentary bottle of water. They brought new towels, but didn’t even freshen or make up the bed. I’d say it’s about a 2 star hotel with 4 star rates. It’s also very close to a major interstate and has a lot of traffic noise in the rooms on that side of the property. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again!

The staff was outstanding. Following a glitch with our Expedia reservation, the staff at the Drury Inn was very helpful in accommodating us. The hotel was quiet, clean and the breakfast had a nice variety of choices. We were very grateful for the hospitality! Would definitely stay here again.

The room was just fine, the only disappointing part was how dead the welcome was by the clear Q check us in. It was very mechanical and had no personality We miss the kickback cocktail time and she suggested we go out the back door to the restaurant next-door but when we went out the back door, the sidewalk has been plowed to the edge. The driveway is plowed, but there’s a 3 foot wall snow in between yet climb over to get there Not very good planning on maintenance side. Breakfast was great.

There is no reason the hotel shouldn't make it clear that they are under construction before you book. I would never have stayed here otherwise. It was loud, inconvenient, and crowded. The gift bags were a joke honestly. We were told construction wouldn't start until 8 am and it started before 7 am on a Thursday. There was limited parking because of the construction. The staff was mostly friendly, but checking in was extremely difficult as we couldn't use the company card I booked with until it was authorized. So we have a $400 hold on our account until then. Super inconvenient. Our room also had other people's hair on the bedding which is unacceptable. If the construction wasn't an issue then I would be inclined to come back, otherwise no thanks.

We stay often at Drury Valley Park and have always loved the place. However, we were not aware that the hotel was under remodel construction. I needed to work remotely and the construction noise was high level making concentration difficult. The outdoor pool was impacted from the construction debris. The refrigerator in the room was not the ones that fit correctly in the cubicle and was unsteady. I hope the hotel gets back to its normal routine and quality soon. We experienced rude staff for the first time there. We are scheduling another visit to St. Louis in a couple of months and will not plan on using this facility.

We happened to stay when they were remodeling, so there was a bit more noise than usual, but that couldn’t be helped. Then there was a small fire that was contained in the kitchen but the fire alarm went if at about 4:30am and we needed to evacuate….thought we would’ve heard from management about the situation but we did not. I felt we should’ve been compensated our final night by having that night erased from the bill…we got no real sleep, but that didn’t happen either. The hotel is kept very clean but the toilet paper is that of a cheap snd nasty filling station…no lie. Breakfast needs an update too.

The people at the welcome desk were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and was great for our 2 day stay. The best part was the evening kickback, we knew we were getting breakfast as part of our stay but food and drinks at dinner time was a bonus. The pool and hot tub were great as well. It was right off the interstate so it was easy to get into St. Louis for sightseeing and what we wanted to do.

never stayed at this particular Drury but it was decent. The food for breakfast was not as good as other Drury inns I have been at it and had to wait for food maybe because it was busy idk but even the potatoes tasted hard and cold . i have stayed at many Drury and I will continue to stay at the Drury anytime one is around but breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment. then when I needed a extended check out because of travel issues I was told that it was going to be 30 dollars for 30 minutes. which is crazy because I have never been told that at any other Drury inn. Not sure if I would stay at this one again though

Hotel was great! It's a little dated, but everything was super clean and the room was very comfortable. Plus it included a free hot breakfast (the food was fresh cooked on site) and free snacks and DINNER! I've stayed in a lot of places and I've never seen one that offered that. First night was pulled pork sliders, coleslaw, mac & cheese, salad, veggies, etc. Second night was chicken, Alfredo sauce, pasta, baked potato bar, salad, etc. Snacks include hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos. There are a couple of really good restaurants within walking distance (Sugar Fire and Psghetti's) if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Wifi was free and although we didn't use it, the pool looked great and there were people in it whenever we walked by. Staff was very warm and welcoming, too. Overall a great place to stay!

Best hotel experience I have had in years. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was the largest variety I've seen in a hotel, the 3 free drinks at night were cold and tasty, the free eveing food was good with a wide variety, the property was clean and felt safe, and everything was like new. My only small complaint would be the elevators seemed slow. Its possible a hotel that size should have another elevator or two.

Drury isn't what it used to be. They used to serve outstanding breakfast that really stood out. Now it's just your very basic low quality powered tasting eggs and boiled tasting sausage patties for three days in a row with no variation.
